i personally think these look amazing. love how acw completely goes all out for their collaborations, but still keeping it relative to the original design, instead of slapping a logo and calling it a day.

This is my go to shoe, they’re waterproof, and some can argue they’re uncomfortable. However with some wear and thick enough socks they’re fine. The wrap around lace sells it to me and the different materials. Totally in love with these

I love ACW's aesthetic and these were almost insta-cop for me, but I held off and I'm glad I did cause I am too damn old to be wearing uncomfortable shoes. Can't do it, not even for the drip. Great vid Ant!
Haha thanks! The world needs more boots with this kinda style but retaining the comfort of sneakers. Often 'sneakerboots' look more like slightly beefy sneakers than proper boots

I really dig the look of these, wish they just had a different colorway. More military inspired colors would be much appreciated cause they would match damn near everything.
While I was successfully able to cop today, I didn’t realize that there would be dope clothes dropping too and couldn’t swing for the pants or jacket. Totally worth checking out for those who dig these shoe

Yeah if they were black I think they would have sold out immediately. I thought about these as maybe an alternative to the SFBs, but if they’re not very comfy I dunno. 150 is a steal for the collab tho.

picked up a pair of these from a local place for retail. these are in my top 10 sneakers of the year. i definitely prefer the grey pair over the newer black pair. Extremely clean for fall and winter.
also, i got them one full size down because it was the biggest size but they are extremely comfortable

Regardless of performance, I find that converse are always uncomfortable, so I'd imagine these are probably worse. Glad that hasn't stopped The Moves.
Yeah... Especially as someone with pretty wide feet, I've never worn a Chuck Taylor that I'd call comfortable.
Invest in insoles, they make any shoe comfortable
I think white-ish colours are fairly good for winter conditions specifically because salt from the street doesn't show up as much. My biggest footwear challenge for winter is keeping my boots clean of salt.

These are actually closer to their Mc18 and mc19 gortex boots. I feel like it took inspiration from that rather than just the classic chuck.

Nice review. Does it have a Chuck 2 Nike lunarlon insole or just a regular 100 yr old Chucks insole? Hope you tested the tongue if it is really water resistant. Hope they have put the 2 legendary lace eyelets on both sides for additional ventillation and more chuck look.

I like these shoes. Actually, I like them so much that I'll try coping them tomorrow even though it's quite hard to do from Ukraine (idiotic customs policies, high fees, high delivery cost etc etc). Also, I've had one pair of Converse before and it seems that I've missed getting half-size down from my usual size as I've literally heard my feet cursing after 20 minutes of wear; but still, they look too cool not to try.
Also, agree on the colouring - I'd love to see these in some kind of dark grey, I've got a feeling that these light ones will get dirty right after I take them out of the box

You should really prepare before the drops happens. It's good to make an account and save the address so you don't waste time typing it down. If you can, you should also save your credit card information so you only have to type down the security code. I managed to cop them in under 2 minutes because of that. They are also releasing them on the 17th on converse.com so good luck man.

I’ve checked Converse website, they don’t allow freight forwarding so I’m left with either waiting for the hype to cool down (maybe the price will lower to retail level but I doubt it) or coping a pair on StockX for 300 EUR. Still thinking if I liked them enough to do this :)

I'm usually indifferent towards collaborations but I do like what ACW has been doing aside from the Vomeros wasn't the biggest fan of the block in the back. But I do like the geometric industrial look and I like these as well. Not sure on the comfortability since they're still converse and I'm not a fan of all white still cool though. I'm leaning towards getting the NikexGortex AF1's in anthracite

I Just bought a pair from farfetch for $178, no tax, just shipping cost, in my normal size which is a US 10.5, I have wide feet so I’m not worried about sizing down. Plus my fear of god converses are a size 10.5 and they fit TTS.
