Acheron isn't Mei, she's Dr. MEI. The reason I believe this is because I think Izumo is parallel to Mu from the Previous Era, only with Mei fighting either alongside or instead of Kevin instead of researching ways to fight the Honkai. The reason why they used "sky" for supposedly "void" is cuz in cn version of HI3 the chinese characters they use for void is literal "sky" that's why when i was still playing HI3 in chinese language i thought the whole time that siren/kiana is the "herrscher of sky" not until I re-download HI3 this year and set the text to english lmao
