For those that dont know. Shaoji has been one of the main writers in HI3 from the start. He became lead writer around Elysian Realm time and now he is the overall Honkai narrative leader. He has been there from the start and he is the one who said the famous line " Honkai is a positive and wholesome story".
Read somewhere he was the screenwrite for everlasting flame too, a pretty good guy. Hope we dont get trauma again

I disagree! Imo Penacony is blatantly based on America, specifically Gilded Age + Jazz Age New York, with a touch of American retrofuturism (like The Jetsons, Fallout, Bioshock).
In the end, Shaoji was the REAL Elio.
