im planning on purchasing sg500 when you change this ink can you still do regular sublimation onto a shirt or do you have to change back to the orginal ink. also what is the best vinyl cutter for this that's not too pricey
You can't switch between EasySubli and Sublijet-UHD inks. Once an ink set has been installed in the printer, that's what you have to use moving forward. The EasySubli inks work best with the EasySubli printable HTV. The Sublijet-UHD inks work best with traditional substrates (coffee mugs, photo panels, 100% polyester, etc). Both inks work great with either type of application, but each has its strength.
I had this same question so I called them. This is a new product so they didnt have much info. To me this is a waste of sublimation ink. Looks to me like it's the regular print vinyl.
The difference is that you have to change Sublimation Inks if you want this for dark T's. Print and cut vinyl is quicker, cheaper and has a much softer feel.
EasySubli HTV is a printable vinyl. However, you can use your Sawgrass printer instead of an expensive eco-solvent printer. Plus, you can use the EasySubli inks to transfer your designs to hard substrates like mugs and keychains. This product allows customers to expand their offerings.
Sawgrass just announced the new SG500 and SG1000. Both will be available with the option of having Siser EasySubli inks. Siser EasySubli Inks work best with Siser EasySubli printable media and also work with hard substrates as well.
I have a sawgrass SG400 trying to print onto easysubli but the colors just arent right, the ink seems like it bleeds out onto the vinyl ( im printing on the vinyl side not the shiny side) once the print heads have laid the ink. I dont see it happening to anyone else, ive done everything i can but so many dead ends. I''ve followed many many tutorials and what not but it just doesnt work but with sublimation paper it works amazing. My suspect is the ink I am using, It is not sawgrass certified nor partnered but it is sublimation ink. should i buy a better known brand of ink that has a partnership with sawgrass?
Hi there! It might be the ink or settings. Are you selecting HTV as your print material? Unfortunately, this material has only been tested with Sawgrass inks, therefore, we can not confirm if it will work with others.
Hello Kelly! The ink cartridges are designed only for the Sawgrass SG400 and SG800. You should be able to use the EasySubli HTV with any sublimation printer, but with varying results. If your ScanNcut has regular inkjet ink installed, you might want to look into using inkjet heat transfer paper.
The EasySubli printable HTV will work best with the EasySubli inks that are currently exclusive to Sawgrass printers. However, we have had some of our customers report using it with their converted Epson sublimation printers. Results vary, but some have reported they enjoy the product. You can purchase a few sheets for yourself if you'd like to test it: heat.press/easysubli5pk
Ok, I have the SG400 printer and just installed the Siser ink. it can only work on the Siser paper? I can't use the current paper I was using with the previous ink?
Siser EasySubli ink will work with regular sublimation paper just like regular sublimation ink. There is a slight difference in the appearance of the final sublimated image, but it's not something typically noticeable by the end user.
Hello I have 3 questions hope you to help me with: I wonder if i can use siser easysubli inks for epson l805 ?? And if so can i use siser easysubli vinyl along with them to sublimate on cotton and dark shirts?? Also can use these inks to sublimate on mugs??
1) No, sorry. EasySubli inks only work with Sawgrass SG400 and SG800 printers. 2) Siser EasySubli printable HTV works on light and dark cotton garments 3) Yes, these inks will work on traditional sublimation blanks. You will need to use regular sublimation paper, not the EasySubli Printable HTV. We recommend TexPrint-XPHR, which is available on our site.
When I press print in Silhouette studio I don't get Virtuoso print manager as an option for printer, only the Sawgrass SG400. Do you know why? I have a Mac
Yes, with Mac computers you aren't able to send files directly from Silhouette to VPM (Virtuoso Print Manager) as you would a normal print job. You have to export your image out of Silhouette Studio and then open it up in VPM directly. Here's how: - When you send to print, instead of printing, choose "open PDF in Preview" - In Preview, go to File -> Export and then export as a JPEG. - Now go to VPM and open a local file. You'll want to choose the JPEG you just saved. - When you export to JPEG, you'll have the option to set your DPI. Make sure the DPI in VPM matches what you selected, otherwise it may not print properly. We have a video on this coming out in the next few weeks. Hopefully this helps for now!
Hello I have a question please can i use traditional sublimation inks that fit for epson with siser easysubli vinyl to sublimate on cotton and dark shirts ??
The EasySubli printable HTV was formulated to work best with EasySubli inks. You are welcome to use other sublimation ink systems, though your results may vary from what you see in this video. We recommend purchasing a small pack of EasySubli HTV to test: www.heatpressnation.com/siser-easysubli-heat-transfer-vinyl-8-4-x-11-5-sheets.html
A lot of time and labor required to produce one garment. I think it would be nice for a hobby but don't think it would hold up in a production environment.
Same thing I wanted to know. But he said you have to install subli ink in to saw grass so I guess not. Because that is a whole another ink from original ones.
The EasySubli ink cartridges are only for the Sawgrass printers, but you should be able to use your non-Sawgrass printer with the EasySubli HTV. We've tested the EasySubli HTV with Sublijet HD inks with good results. However, we did notice that EasySubli inks provided the most color vibrancy with the EasySubli HTV.
The EasySubli printable HTV has a texture to it that might not suit everyone's preference. However, it shouldn't be spotty. To make sure that you're getting the best results with your EasySubli printable HTV, be sure to follow all of the steps, as well as these tips: - Print using Sawgrass Print Manager with the EasySubli setting - Allow the ink to dry under your heat press (don't actually press it though) for about 30 seconds
I printed mugs with virtuoso SG400 for 5 years. Then I n entire to use Easy subli inks to print on T-shirts. First, the black printed purple.. The problems multiplied. Now the printer will not register the ink cartridges and will not print black and yellow of the new ink cartridges. I cannot get Sawgrass to help me since July 26th and had to turn away 9 customers. Can anyone help me identify a service provider who can clean up the nozzles and make the ink flow so I can go back to using this printer for mugs,
Hello Ruthann! The EasySubli HTV needs 311 degrees Fahrenheit or 155 degrees Celsius. Same temperature as far as heat, but they're two different measurements of that heat.
EasySubli inks work best with EasySubli printable HTV, and work good with traditional substrates. Sublijet-HD inks work best with traditional substrates, and work good with EasySubli printable HTV. So each is best at one thing and good at the other. When choosing which ink system to use for your business, it's usually best to go with the ink that works best on the products you'll be making the most. If you're mainly using printable EasySubli, get EasySubli inks. If you're mainly using coffee mugs, go with Sublijet.
The SG500 has an upgraded display, Wi-Fi printing, new roller bar to reduce misfeeds, and more. For complete details, check out this blog: www.heatpressnation.com/blogs/blog/introducing-the-new-sawgrass-sg500-sg1000-desktop-sublimation-printers

I'm cutting on a silhouette, could you tell me what the cut settings would be for easysubli please/
Siser recommends setting your blade to 3, force to 15, and speed to 8.
What’s the difference between this and just printable vinyl?
I had this same question so I called them. This is a new product so they didnt have much info. To me this is a waste of sublimation ink. Looks to me like it's the regular print vinyl.
aureliog88 ya I don’t see the point of it really at all
aureliog88 same here. They said it’s paper not vinyl
The difference is that you have to change Sublimation Inks if you want this for dark T's. Print and cut vinyl is quicker, cheaper and has a much softer feel.

@@HeatPressNation Hi the ScanNcut is not a printer it is a cutting machine.
@@HeatPressNation the brother scan n cut is a cutting machine not a printer
Can this be used with a different brand of printer. Like maybe an Epson? Or is it exclusively used with sawgrass?
The EasySubli printable HTV will work best with the EasySubli inks that are currently exclusive to Sawgrass printers.

Good I guess I didn’t realize the difference when I ordered my printer and got this ink.

Kris lurlee thank you. I also reached out to them with their online chat and they told me the same. Sawgrass has its own cartridges and ink.

On Siser web they say heat press at 150 degrees yet you say 311. That's a big difference. Why?
Hello Ruthann! The EasySubli HTV needs 311 degrees Fahrenheit or 155 degrees Celsius. Same temperature as far as heat, but they're two different measurements of that heat.
So basically it's best to use the sublijet Hd inks with easysubli HTV to print on 100% cotton? Anyone can you help me with this?
EasySubli inks work best with EasySubli printable HTV, and work good with traditional substrates. Sublijet-HD inks work best with traditional substrates, and work good with EasySubli printable HTV. So each is best at one thing and good at the other.
