    One thing I understood about the benefits of sublimation over vinyl is to have ink applied directly to the shirt so that when the shirt is stretched there is no cracking. All I see is that is different from vinyl are brighter colors. I would like to see a demo of the product stretched. Thank you, I’ll look for you in January, at Creativation for a demo.

      Hey Crafty Gal, with Sublimation, you are not able to print onto cotton or dark fabrics, which can be limiting to some. This is a vinyl which can be printed on with Sublimation inks (to achieve the vibrant colors), and can be applied to cotton and dark fabrics. Hope this information is helpful!

    After testing the Easy Subli & the Forever Subli-flex 202. These are the main factors in deciding which is better. First, 202 is much more difficult to use. Trying to remove the backing wasn't easy. The 202 does produce vibrant colours though on par or maybe better than the easy Subli. The problem was It leaves a shiny finish even after using the matte finishing paper. The feel is like HTV. The Easy Subli has a lighter feel is less vibrant but still looks good. Its feel is in between HTV & transfer paper. I used an Epson XP 342 with sublimation inks. After a couple of washes at 40C, both transfers had held their colour.

    Mega, Danke für die Vorführung.. Super gezeigt.

    Great video! A few questions:
    1. I thought you had to let the design settle/cure on a heat press for a 60 seconds, but in the video you went from weeding it to pressing it on the shirt. Is that wrong?
    2. What were the settings you used for the iron?
    Thanks.

    • @SISERSRL
      @SISERSRL  5 лет назад +1

      Hey atmany, thank you for the feedback. Some designs tend to print out more saturated, so we recommend to place under the heat press to cure the image quicker. In this case, the design printed out perfect, and we did not have to place under the press. Regarding the settings, we were between Cotton and Linen :)

    • @SISERSRL
      @SISERSRL  5 лет назад +8

      Hello Monamittee, thank you for your feedback. With the Subliflock or Transfer Vinyl, the application still requires high temperature and time, which can damage or discolor the original garment. Also, you will notice with the Sublimation Flock, the finish result is not true vibrancy, which is expected from Sublimation. Due to the new engineering formula behind the EasySubli, we can print directly onto the vinyl, and apply at a very low temperature and time (150 degrees and 15 sec) with incredible vibrancy. There is no other sublimation formula on the market which can be applied at this time and temperature. This will not only save you time, which we know time is money, but also eliminate the possibility of damaging your garment. I hope this information is helpful. Have a nice day. Rudy

      Before its heat pressed the ink is sitting on the surface of the vinyl, once heat is applied the ink is sublimated into the vinyl and locked in. Big difference from inkjet printed transfers.

    • @SISERSRL
      @SISERSRL  5 лет назад +2

      Hello, thank you for your question. You are correct, traditional sublimation is done by printing on a sublimation paper, which is then transferred to a light colored polyester substrate via gases at 200 degrees for 35-45 seconds. This is a brand new Heat Transfer Vinyl that we have engineered, which bypasses the use of Sublimation Paper. This allows us to now apply Sublimated designs onto Cotton, dark fabrics, and much more. Also, do to the new engineered composition of this new vinyl, we can actually apply our Sublimation designs at an incredibly low temperature and time, 155 degrees for 15 seconds. This allows those working with Sublimation, to eliminate most limitations of traditional Sublimation. Hope this helps! Rudy
