Nah, you're invalidated for your shitty take on Nana. First of all, it's not like your typical Shojo, it may be classified as a Shojo simply because it was on a Shojo magazine but the roots go way deeper than that. The story centers its self with the very real world complexity of people's relationships with others. The struggles that come with adulthood life when trying to achieve your dreams and goals, and the many sacrifices you have to make to achieve that. Nana has characters that feel like real people that exist in the real world because they're not one dimensional characters, rather they're flawed people with deep rooted & complex natures. Also, the irony on how you shit on the demographic of Shojo when Miura was influenced by it & placed some of those earlier Shojo elements into Berserk. A manga so many heavily praise, myself included. You may not be interested in it or not understand it at all as of now because you're too close minded but hopefully you'll open yourself more towards that and have more of an open mind instead of shutting it off because its part of a demographic you THINK doesn't have stories that you'd like.
As an Usogui Glazer, Usogui follows a man named Madarame Baku (The Lie Eater, Usogui) and his dream/journey of becoming the Leader of a secret and powerful gambling organization called Kakerou [Functions just like Kengan Ashura but without the representatives fighters for companies and are fought instead through life and death gambling matches.] Usogui follows a linear story so it progresses arc after arc (match after match) until it reaches around chapter 300 (The last 3 arcs of Usogui). Usogui is 539 chapters but the art gets way better after each 100 chapters. It has a good story, insane foreshadowing, amazing and unforgettable side-characters and possibly the greatest arc in manga which is Suprassing The Leader, the last arc of PEAK. 😳
Claymore! it only gets better and better, it takes off like a rocket ship, and keeps on exploding ever higher and higher, grins, you ain't seen/read nothing yet... it gets really insane and crazy...
dude, I beg of you to dig further into Golden Kamuy. the way the story is structured, it needs to take a minute to set everything up... so that's what the majority of the early story spends its time doing. but if you haven't started meeting prisoners yet, you don't really know what the story is cooking with. I don't want to spoil anything, but the basic idea is that either fucked up people end up in prison, or prison fucks people up really bad, so most of the escaped convicts are like 10 ordeals in a trench coat. also, either fucked up people really find their niche in the environment of war, or war fucks people up really bad, so all the soldiers and former soldiers are much the same way. nobody is normal, every situation has about 20 moving parts at once, this is leveraged for action, comedy, and dramatic stakes in equal measure, and while it takes time to get all the pieces on the board, it is phenomenal when they start to move. just... please let me vouch for the fact that this one is worth it. Dorohedoro is too, purely on the basis that it's fun.
It's cool if you don't like stories exploring relationships and navigating life, but that's no reason to demean all of shoujo. It's a big demographic tag, meaning it contains tons of genres and history. From the taste you display in the rest of the video, there are plenty of shoujo you would likely be into. Generalization will only ever narrow your growthband understanding.

I feel like Mashima gets a bad rap for having written FT, which is understandable, but he also wrote Rave/Rave Master, which is genuinely an amazing shounen series. Started his career with his best work and then just... yeah
Chapter 1 of Kenshin and Nana have the same amount of jokes. That's why they work so well. If you're not laughing by page 23 when the MC insists she doesn't have an Electra complex, you're not picking up what the author is laying down.
Imo the best manga on this list is by far usogui. Don't get me wrong lot of these manga are rly good but usogui is just a tier above, holding its ground with berserk, house of the fata morgana and vagabond.
39:38 WHY IS THE LAST ONE A FINAL BOSS, WHAT IN THE GENUINE FUCK IS THAT TITLE! I'm dropping EVERYTHING I'm doing and reading this rn see you fellas in a few hours.
10 chapters of Usogui don't even scratch the surface it has 539 chapters the manga is finished first the villain your talking about isn't even the villain he's the referee of the games and the actual villain of the Usogui is equal to Griffith in my opinion like One Piece and Berserk Usogui takes it's time to build up it's world and it's characters I know the art isn't the best at the start it keeps improving until it's equal or even above the art of Vagabond/Berserk it's one of the only series that stays consistent with it's the themes I would compare Baku to Leloch from Gode Geass but more cracked the games are complex sometimes it's takes a few rereads to understand them and ending is excellent all around a 10/10 package I would recommend it if you the time to read it since it took me 16 days to read it.
Your recommendations all sound lovely, Fire Punch, however, is one of my favorite stories of all time. When I saw Agni in the thumbnail next to the title, I had a huge smile on my face, knowing people are recommending it more and more. Also is the thumbnail art you've made or found, cause it looks amazing!
Usogui is amazing at like the 150 chapter mark, totally finish it, it takes a long time but the end 5 arcs from Battleship-Surpassing the leader are batshit insane and amazing

Hi, if you are going to make another video like this here a recommendation of novel. BAFFLING: The Hidden Doors - the novel based on thriller, mystery, suspens, psychological, etc
Opm manga is pretty solid once it enter the second act of monster association ( around ch 80) Recommending opm manga is like recommending aot, most people assume that rest of aot is just same as season 1 after finishing season 1, while further story is so better Same goes for opm, first 40 something chapter is like a spin off based purely on Saitama but after that it develops many characters and plotlines and starts getting incredible from ch 80 or something
Check out The Fable, Ester Geter, Blame!, I'm a Hero and Teppu, Holyland if you want good Sports/Martial Arts Manga If people want more good action manga

One I highly recommend is probably Bungo Stray Dogs. I started it the beginning of this year and then watched the entire anime after. It's one of my absolute faves and the characters are amazingly complex. It's well known but not many people talk about it I've seen at least. The main protagonist Atsushi is an interesting character and I love that he's not exactly a cookie cutter protagonist imo. And all the side characters are incredibly solid. Fun fact(maybe): All of or at least the main characters and even villains sometimes are based on real life authors, both Japanese and American. That was really fun, especially for a bookworm myself. I loved finding the real life books their powers are based on and finding clues from their books the mangaka used to make their characters more fleshed out
Rates Nana a 1/10 and calls it trash but gives Fire Punch a 9/10 and says it’s better than Chainsaw Man 💀 Edit: Nah he rated Dorohedoro a 7.5/10 and Fire Punch a 9/10?? Trash take

After how many chapters, the story picks it?
@@naimahakim1026 I’d say right after the volume 5 is when the story starts connecting, but the story really connects after caiman meets the cross eyes gang
Usogui is a must to keep reading after every chapter it gets better and the foreshadowing and characters are on another level
