You are a godsend. Ive been looking for something like this for a long ass time. I'm a begginer. I know almost nothing about music theory and there's no one teaching me. So this helps a lot. Thank you sm!
I swear I been waiting for someone to make this kind of vst. Sweet and simple for creating and building chords. No extra 'cool' stuff to get you to try and spend money. I want to be able to grab and use chords w/o worrying if I'm building them right. But you gotta incorporate bass notes please and thank you. One last thing, we need this in vst2 vst3 format.
Maybe drag and drop instead of download of midi file. Definitely more scales And somehow incorporate bass notes for each chord. So, bass notes will not be played out of key for those who still struggle with this.
Glad to see you back on youtube!! As C-raybeats noted it would be nice to have visual on how the chords appear on the piano roll and for my part we can play the same chords progressions or slighty different ones with different voicings and this would be extremely interesting if u could introduce us to the science of voicings whether it be on your application or under the form of a video or videos, so happy to see you back and alive, salutations from the great french island of guadeloupe!! Chapeau for all that you've already done so far!!
Loved it bro but a small suggestion, add an option of piano or guitar beside scale option and also add chart of chords this will it easy for people who wants to create melody or play instruments, if you can't do a chart then just add name of notes like for c maj C-E-G like that it'll work too.
You need a visual of how the chord looks on a piano roll in real time depending on the chord selected. It would update as you change settings. Nice tool.
That would be a nice addition. Are you thinking it would be one piano roll showing all of the chords, or each chord having its own little view of the notes for that chord?
@@IVTheFourth The duration of the chords will update once add to the chain of chords. If only one chord is selected then only one chord will display.. Basically building up to a four bar chord.. If two chords are select the visual will only show two bars within the piano roll.
brilliant creation. I'm not sure if this has been suggested, but a lot of people would benefit if the user could select the key or root chord, to begin with, then generate the progressions randomly. keep creating and inspiring,
wow, you are amazing! And its free! How did you do this. Your tutorials to me are the best by the way! I am trying to create some meditation tracks and this is such a big help, thank you.
Wow, this is an amazing tool! And it's exactly what I needed right now. Would be great to be able to capture the state of the progression in a url query param (ideally one that is also somewhat human parsable). That way people can "save" and share progressions they like without the need any persistence on your side. Keep up the great work! And also I'd love to help out with the dev work for the enhancements you may be thinking of (or for any other such free tools). Also.... I signed up for an invite to the ear training course which seems awesome based on the ad, and is *also* what I need right now. Are you planning to roll it out to newer users any time soon?
Also, make it where we can import our own chords and progressions like from Unison Audio and all the others. Maybe add different file folders too. One for single chords and one for progressions
Great program for my students at school. Cannot seem to enter the downloaded files in Soundtrap and they also won't play as stand alone audio files once downloaded. Any suggestions please?
I want a software to generate chord progression based on my melody that i just played or created. I can play melody but i don't know how to play chords to go along with my melody
Would be nice if you implement the different styles globally so it intrest artist around the world, most vst are design for artist in Europe America meanwhile you can get popularity if you cater for African styles too
Would MIDI integration provide any of the functionality that you want from a VST? I don't think there's a good way to port this to VST without basically recreating it from scratch, but MIDI integration might be doable
@@IVTheFourth ah, it was just an idea so it could be still usable when the site might not be online anymore in the far future. preserving stuff. still a really great tool!
@@IVTheFourth yea, to play along with. i suppose could do that myself after importing to fl studio, but it seems like a feature that should be on there.

CAN I REARRANGE THESE CHORDS? LIKE FLASHCARDS?
What’s the name of the app again please? I can’t find it on my App Store
HOW CAN I USE THIS SITE OF YOURS FOR LYDIAN CHORDS/MODES?
I wish it's was an app so that I can download it to my device
Do you want to download it for offline use, to get rid of the address bar and browser controls, or for another reason?
Where is the download?
I've just added link to the description.

Can you add in a metronome?
So that you can hear the timing of the chords compared to the beats, right?

How bout genre based.
I like the strong strongest idea.
