Only thing I'm surprised about is not seeing dusk.
Oracle, Z1r
I think the Dusk is a ShenzenAudio exclusive hence why Timmy didn't mention it.
also no Thie Audio but to TanchJim
This hobby more expensive than buying niche fragrance
It’s starting to be
Honestly though, depends on what you are aiming for.
You can stay below the $100 price bracket or tackle higher price brackets if you have the $$$.
I'm currently sitting on the sub $500 price range.
Anole VX vs U12T 🤔. Also prediction - eBay is flooded with 7Hz timeless come January. So much hype, not everyone could consider it a keeper
An All-Star line up and presentation of quality IEMs - gracias Timmy
hope everyone can see whatever been hiding all these wasted times soon, so you know why i rant so much
No Blessing 2?
Don't have so much time to have SO many iems......i already have a ZS10pro for about a year and just received my 7hz Timeless. Next up a Sundara in a month or two and that's it.
I can never justify ever spending over $1000 for a pair of IEMs. Is it truly worth it? My brain can not imagine something sounding THAT good.
Yes. 1000$ can get intimidating but the sound is worth it. The soundstage might be a bit limited in comparison to headphones but detail-wise, they kick ass. It’s like having a studio in your pocket.
Me too, until i got fed up with chasing chifi and splurged on the IER-Z1R. Its so good, if it fits.
Try a used OG andromeda. It was so good i actually had to sell it. I wasn’t ready to listen to music at that level on the go lol
@@brendonelliott4499 LOOL
No it's not
great video, very informative, i would also like to know if you have any recomendations for a microphone for iems, it'd be very helpful
You can get cable that has microphone and put it on any IEM
2:43 Brave,< SA6,< VX
8:00 VX
Small update. I did it. I pulled the trigger on the timeless. Can’t wait. Thanks Timmy!
great insight in a short video.
thank you
Which has more detail, Mest 1 or Variations ?
Not many people did reviews for the Kbear Believe. It is supposedly a single beryllium DD set. I have it and I think it’s pretty amazing for detail and neutral slightly warm sound with good textured bass that isn’t over emphasized. It was/is $180 and I’m wondering how it stacks up against the KATO. The Believe is also really nice looking with an all metal heavy build
What cable are you using on the VX? thanks for the review!
Have you tried the LZ A7? And what are your thoughts if you have.
Honestly, for the Variations from $520 down to $442 is a good deal.
Evidently I watched all your video since I want to get the Seeaudio Bravery. However I have one thing concern about it which is what if something wrong with it I need to find customer service. Is there even exist customer service team in US?
I love to hear your thoughts on Vision Ears EXT and Ambient Acoustics MAD24. Someone in head-fi community have these two and he said the sounds is closer to susvara. I have mest mk2 but i feel there's missing. Im looking for my next end game. TIA!
ext is good, dont hesitate if you find one in stock, i mean yeah it does have susvara feel
Every audio equipment review need information on what library genre to test it with. Every genre is different Or at least the song. That way we can communicate and understand.
BGGAR approves
On one hand I agree but also you can't exactly require an audio reviewer to listen to ever genre. The general sound signature and the way the reviewer describes this as well as the measurements should be enough to give you an idea of if it'll fit within your preferences. Saying what genres something sounds good with is just simplifying this information and adding some subjectivity in there which is fine but IMO not really necessary.
He listens on m11. Doesn't push cable or tip rolling hard like others so you get a more true out of the box experience.
In India hifigo shipping cost 75,80% original cost so this site is only good for other countries
Any usb c dac recommendations for these iems? Would really appreciate it
A must have list without the 64 Audio u12t or Blessing 2 cannot be taken seriously.
im thinking about getting the variations, u think It can fit a small-medium ear?
Struggling between the MoonDrop Variations and Thieaudio Oracle. You rank Variations higher, but you enjoy Oracle more. Is the Variations really sterile and nothing wows you? Is there a wow factor when listening to the Oracle? How much does the inferior imaging, details, and and treble affect the Oracle?
But also, why wasn't Oracle in this list, but Variations was in this list? Thanks.
PS: Which IEM is harder to drive to sound better and which can just sound good plugged into phone?
Go for THIEAUDIO Monarch MKII
Variations = better highs
Monarch MKll = better bass
@@h_enrix_92 ty. by "highs" what instruments are those referring to.
as for vocals, do highs include female vocals? what frequency is female vocals at?
@@Viewer13128 female vocals generally are at the upper midrange/lower treble...and male vocals at the lower midrange...highs are the hit hat cymbals, triangles, bells, the feeling of air etc
@@h_enrix_92 sounds like highs are less common except in certain genres. would that be a minor factor then? how PS: am i under wron gimpression to think that variations should have better sub bass?
What iems r good for metal /rock /pop for 250 👍🏻
aria and kato but not the blessing 2 dusk?
Thank YOUUUUUU
Aventus is a must have.
What stops me from getting the timeless, are the QC issues and channel imbalance reports 😶
Surprised you didn't mention the dusk.
Is there a lot of difference in resolution/details between 7hz Timeless and Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk? I want great resolution and details. Which one would you pick for that?
I have the Timeless and the Blessings 2 Dusk. In my opinion, the Blessing 2 have more detail than the Timeless, but the Timeless benefit from the planar driver which give that sharpness or clarity to the sound that dynamic drivers simply cannot provide and also handles busy song sections, and even gaming, in a better fashion, providing better separation.
On the other hand, if you want better resolution and detail, if you have the money, you are better off buying EST driver IEMS, like the ThieAudio Monarch.
@@VaultF Thanks for the help, friend! Thieaudio Monarch surely will be my final goal in the future, but not for now (maybe in a few years). For now, i need something from $200 to $300. So, Timeless has better separation than B2Dusk? And for clarity, Timeless is better too?
@@VaultF I have the og blessing 2 and got for quite a cheap price thanks to eBay so the price of it is barely above the timeless. Though I’m not too impressed by it plus it is rather uncomfortable. Do you think I should try out the timeless since it’s on sale on linsoul rn
Yes as it has a planar magnetic driver it benefits from being faster and handling busy sections of songs and many different instruments at the same time better.
If I was in your position I would get the Timeless just because of the uniqueness of its proposition of being a planar magnetic IEM with a $200 price tag that is finely tuned.
@@sentryion3106Well I can tell you that the Timeless are more comfortable than the Blessings 2 on my ears, even on stock tips.
In terms of sound I like the Blessings 2, but the Timeless offer a different sound profile maybe you could actually enjoy it.
Currently own aria cos I wanted to experience the Harman Target at an affordable price which I really love, but as someone who listens to quite a bit of percussion-heavy music (I.e. Rock, metal, some kind of funk etc) it's a little too dull for me. What are some brighter, more energetic iems that would be good for these, with a similar price range as the arias? (Nothing above 200 preferably)
Tin hifi t3 plus
Will Dusk be on sale?
It never goes on sale. Only the OG Blessing 2. I think it has to do with Crinacle and Moondrop having a marketing deal or something.
Hey everyone, I need some help with my recent purchase of the MOONDROP KATO's. They are really uncomfortable and was wondering if this is a common issue or is it unlucky me?
I was initially blown away by the sound from them. But after a little bit of use (2hr) the top part of my ear started getting sore because of the wire that wraps around it. Then, maybe the next day, they start feeling really uncomfortable, the IEM shell I believe is pressing on my Antitragus
Just sell them and buy a different shaped iem.
Sounds like they could just be a bit too big for your ear. They also have a pretty deep fit with the stock eartips, as the tips don't have a nudge for the nozzle to get stuck in - they just slide freely all the way in. This way, the shell is pressing against your ear. Maybe try a tip with a dedicated groove inside, so that the nozzle is stuck and doesn't go all the way? If this doesn't help, then what Kyron said is your best bet. BTW, 7hz Timeless are roughly the same price and on the same level in terms of sound
Giveaway pliss
Which one would statisfy bass heads?
ikko oh10
Do you buy all your iem or are most sent to you?
I think he buys them
Same question 😂😂
no for both, i got the audio samples on my earbud
so yeah the reviews might not totally accurate, since some sounds cant be replicated
Best detail IEM under $200?
Great review, can you please explain how the 2.5 and 4.4 are balanced? I'm deducing that the 3.5 is the one that is not balanced. Also does this pertain to the cable only, meaning if I buy the 7hz timeless with the 3.5 cable but then purchase a better 4.4 cable would that make them balanced?
Yes, u can use any iem with balance port if its cable is swapable..the 3.5mm jack is single end,and 2.5 and 4.4mm is balance. U need to check ur dac or amp use what kind of this two balance port.
Bro review KZ ZEX please !!!
stunning iem. it is a pinch on the ass for all the brands that want you to overpay iems.
@@Luca-xr7bs Bro, what about cca c12?
still after all this time..... i don't know what balance / single end means.. I'm a bad audiophile wkwkwkwk
Power from your amp is sent equally to the right and left side. It's bottle necked in power to about 2vrms.
In a balanced setup, the left and right side are independently powered and can have quadruple the power achieved.
Not all audio gear require or are designed to take advantage of so much power. The main obvious advantage is when using anything planar magnetic like the tinhifi p1. Alternatively, hi resistance over ear headphones like sennheiser 300 ohm over ears can benefit from the extra power.
90% of stuff isn't designed to use balanced power requirements though so don't think it's a must have. Some audio gear actually have zero benefit single vs balanced.
KZ DQ6 vs KZ ZEX
buy both. they are cheap and stunning

I think that nozzles of 7Hz Timeless are too short for European ears/
Maybe you can try spinfit 240
@@laiwoh5001 Thanks, but it's too late, i'm afraid, i have no 7Hz now yet.
UM MEST MKII (I) и QDC anole VX замечательные во всем наушники.
mest mk2 is a solid ciem
Hows the timeless 7hz compare to katos?
You do realize that EVERYONE won't go for 2500 dollars worth iem.
true, but at least everyone aware 50k-60k headphones exist, and worth the money
These IEM sounds great but I'm a bit behind with my decadence right now. I had Biden over the other day and he peed in the pool so had to have it totally scrubbed. At least he didn't crap himself like you did at COP26.
Boring sugestions. All Chifis. Yawn
