This is such a fantastic idea for a video. For someone like me who doesn’t have $1000 to spend on an IEM, it’s nice to know there are alternatives with 85% of performance. Thanks, brother!
The Aria has really grown on me, now going on my 4th week of continuous use of it, at first I didn't like it and initially regretted not opting for the Tripowin Mele since I wanted a much better BL03 (which I've heard is just that), but now that I've spent a lot of time with it, I've found that since most of my library comprises of a lot instrumental acoustic and jazz songs, I enjoy them even more than I did with the BL03. Whenever I listen to Yu-Peng Chen's Hakushin Lullaby, I always get emotional lol And listening to Daoko with the Aria, just pure bliss. Stock cable and tips are bad though, but fortunately, I swapped it with my trusty custom braided cable I've locally commissioned and ordered a pair of Final E tips, and now I'm set for 2 more years, the same amount of years I've had with my BL03, which I had to retire since the left ear started fail after my constant use with it. Take note that all of my music listening is done through my phone (Poco X3 Pro) and most of the time it's just on Spotify, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
When you are doing these round ups it would be really nice if you could add chapters or time codes so we can go to certain items were interested in. I'm very interested about the Katos as I already have some OH10.
I like the My Mele more than the Aria, The Mele has a fullness sound, intimate vocal, and more fun and punchy with good and deep bass quality. Of course the Mele have a roll off upper treble/airy, but with natural and fullness bass, mid, and lower treble which i like more. Aria has a better treble extension, but i feel the imaging less fun and definitely less impact bass than the Mele
I have the same thoughts. Own both sets, but Mele is getting most of the listening time. I am getting a 7Hz Timeless to try to see if it finds that middle ground of still having the bass of the Mele, while still getting the detail resolution that I miss from the Aria.
@@JohnClarkW I hope next year, tripowin keep HBB, released the Mele Next gen with better driver quality and technicalities, keep the Mele tuning with resolving the treble extension and resolution. The price range up to $100 bundling with Premium tripowin cable
@@kyron42 Not from my ears ..their girth keeps them in place.🥳 As for the my daily driver KZ ZAS ( not fully inserted ..to lighten up the bass bloat ) and it works.

Bravo Timmy!! Excellent content on similar alternative cheaper sets. Would the TRN VX PRO also be a cheaper alternative to per say the Thieaudio Monarch? Or are they totally different sound signatures? The Dunu SA6 and the SeeAudio Bravery seemingly pretty interesting as far as Balanced Armature sets.
I like "Cerberus," which is comfortable and clear. I want you to introduce earphones like 'Cerberus'. "Warm and smooth earphone TOP5" is desperately needed. Also, I wonder if you're preparing a review of "kiwiears orchestra". Your video is so interesting!
I absolutely agree with your reply. Actually I'm a big fan of your RUclips channel. I also wonder why you always have sponsor matches WITHOUT me. That sucks. Your video is so interesting as well!
@@Gizaudio Thank you for your video. I'm 0삽살개0's friend and helping him with translating. I returned my e1000 since it sounded to echoey for me. The fit was amazing though. Maybe look at the Moondrop Quarks with mic. The mic version seems better tuned than the non-mic version & the microphone is actually high quality. Not surprised since Moondrop engineers take audio quality very seriously.
I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to the blessing 2. It seems to be Etymotic er2se or er3se. Do you by any chance know the difference between the er2se and er3se?
It is the sound produced by the driver. IEMs mainly use dynamic drivers and/or balanced armatures (ba). Each driver has its advantages and disadvantages. Some people find that ba do not reproduce the sound of instruments as true to life or coherently as dynamic drivers.
@@kyron42 not sure if this answers your question but I put the quarks on an amp with equalizer adjustments and boosted the bass. It actually gets pretty punchy was impressed.

Brilliant, Timmy! Haven't seen anyone else make this simple comparison.

Dude, thank you for sharing your experience in such details. I added those songs to my try playlist. Aria is beautiful for sure :)
How's the Aria's bass compared to BL-03?
@@gtx2k842 less bass than bl 03 .... Try the bl a8

That's a great idea!
the name and the price on screen would be great too
Love your shows, been watching you for awhile now. Could you do a comparison 2xr etomotic to the moon drop starfield and the kato
ER2XR is more balanced and more detailed than Starfield. Kato is slightly better than ER2XR.

Mele is very good I agree!
Very interesting. I'm sure could recover laidback treble on the Mele with a bit of EQ.
@@kyron42 the stock tips are too wide bore. I put a pair of Final Audio Series E and it pulls the treble back, Spinfit CP100 or 145 work well too.
i think ur reviews are awesome. one of the best! i always watch ur videos. i need an IEM for classical and jazz music. what do u recommend? thank u!
Great Info, it would be nice if a similar vlog could be done for 2022
Hoping for an updated version ❤
Well, I’ve got the Moondrop Aria and the IKKO OH10’s…so I’m good …but the Blessing looks interesting 🤔
These are 2 I've been considering. Does the OH10 ever fall out?

Hi, thieaudio oracle or dunu sa6? Good videos
Great vid, have you try Final Audio E1000 and E2000? I really like both of them, sounds good and cheap

i would say that BL05 are the cheaper version of aria. but a little bit thin with more ugly fitting than aria
based on my experience
I still need to try that one.
What you think about the Black Magician ?
Should I use Auto EQ on Moondrop Chu or Aria? And which should I buy? Aria or Chu?
Go for dunu titas s

tin t4 vs reecho sg01 pls
im in between tin t3 and tin t4 for metal listening, i really like a bright sound, any suggestions?

If you want to hear highly detailed distorted guitar go for CCA NRA.

Shuoer Tape still going strong and affordable budget king. Anything beat it yet?

no Timeless???
