Went last Saturday to the Movies and saw "Lost City" Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum have such chemistry together and loved the comedy!! I will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out!!!
Saw it for a second time yesterday. Definitely my favorite movie in recent years and genuinely enjoyed the ride! Not just a silly romcom but one with heart and I really think we needed it.♥️
Wow the amount of love and respect between the three protagonists is impressive. They made me feel warm and comfortable watching as I could be part of their family.
I can NOT get enough of this movie ‼️ last night I saw it in the theater for the 3rd time… and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. It’s brilliant and the best escape ever. You can laugh for 2 hours and lose yourself in it! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I can't wait to watch this! It's giving me the vibe of Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile, with the sexiest voice and forever loved, Kathleen Turner. Can't wait!
Yes was actually entertaining. It was pretty funny. All the actors were great. Brad Pitts cameo was hilarious. I love Sandra and Channing. Radcliffe for the villain was perfect. Divine Joy Randolph isn't mentioned much in these, but she also made this movie, awesome and funny.
My respect for all actors who are willing to be extremely uncomfortable for long hours even to the extent of not being able to pee for 12 hours at a go. Really they deserve the pay and the awards.
Forgive me. This is sad so don’t read it if you want to stay happy! I only write it because sweet Dash and Channing made me remember a friend I had. A soldier. It made me smile. He looked like exactly like Channing. He was Strong healthy 6’2”, muscular... gorgeous! The best part was, he had NO idea just how beautiful he was both inside and out. (Every other young lady & older woman & some men did) His personality is what sold him! He didn’t care if you were an exotic Miss Universe or the girl next door or the transgender lady who loved to feel his biceps, he was always just... flattered embarrassed even. He was confident, but not cocky. He was such a DORK! His personality was JUST LIKE Dashes! I feel like I’m watching my friend. He was Just a big ol lovable soul, a goofball and a BFF! He saved ladybugs from drowning in swim pools & would drive 8 hours away if your car broke down and stay on the cell to make sure you were safe. He was intelligent as well w a College degree. Like i said, he was also a US SOLDIER-US ARMY. (Couldn’t be a better man) He wouldn’t talk too much about his deployment when he returned. I guess he un-detonated or detonated IEDs? (Please Forgive me military men and women. I don’t know the correct word for his job. I learned not to ask too much) I don’t know all the details. I only learned a bit after I saw his back full of shrapnel scars. He also had dementia & slight head tremors due to an explosion from an IED going off too soon? Idk the whole story. (Maybe they were 2 separate incidents) He started “over reacting” to pops and bangs, etc. He threw me on the cement and jumped on my back when someone threw fireworks in a dumpster close by. I understood, but it broke my nose, split my lip and skinned me up w a few stitches. He was 230lbs. I’m 115. He wouldn’t forgive himself. Then he really started showing his PTSD severity. He started staring at walls for hours. He got in fist fights and had no memory. He was scared of himself. We would punch brick walls and shatter his hand in blind rage... over what was in his head. He was scared he’d hurt someone he loved. I talk about him like hes dead. Hes not, yet. However, the sweet, happy go lucky, dorky man he used to be is dead. Last I saw him, he was a hollow shell. Dark circles sunken eyes... staring at a wall in a restaurant. He moved away...cut off contact w loved ones. I miss him. I pray he’s well. The VA Hospital never got back to me... I called FOR him. He didn’t wait. He just left. My heart goes out to ALL men and women that serve. I pray for all of you. No one is immune to what happens in war. I know everyone is talking about Brad Pitt. BUT...Thank you Channing, for making Dash the lovably beautiful dork that you did! I got to recall a happier memory of my long lost friend! Sorry so long. Plz Don’t come for me.

I don't think this is supposed to be a remake of the Stone. It does remind me of it but it isn't it. I look forward to seeing some of my favorite actors in it. I think this is going to be one hilarious joyride and just what the world needs right now. .a good old fashioned laugh fest with adventure and romance. Thanks Sandy and company.
One very striking difference between this and Romancing the Stone is that Michael Douglas' character was really awful to Kathleen Turner's for most of the movie. He mocks her and treats her with contempt. Whereas in this movie, Tatum's character really likes and admires Bullock's character, he's kind and sweet to her even when she's difficult. I like this so much better.
It is when it's not allowed. But I'm pretty sure Sandy COULD go to the bathroom during the filming of a movie (which she herself produced) but CHOSE not to because it's a giant hassle to get in and out of a jumpsuit in the middle of the jungle. She would basically have to strip down each time.
In the movie, Daniel’s character’s name was a girl name and they said it was a gender neutral thing. Idk if they did it as a joke or they were did serious.
They're trying to make this sound like such an original concept but it was done 100 years ago by Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas in Romancing the Stone. Still want to see it, but it's not unique.
Ha ha funny... I was deployed in the desert with hundreds of men, it's hard but I agree! Don't drink too much water so you can avoid peeing...as a female...its hard to pee in private.
