- new nib 28mm carb and filter, ended up 118 main 40 pilot jets and the 212cc has never ran smoother. now to finish the final weeks with a wide band and break the 1/8th and 1/4 mile record with the drag.

good to see you pop up again on my page. I need to get my bike dialed in and start riding it again. but having 4 bikes it sits a bunch.
Love your bike. I just picked up a ct70 myself and I'm getting ready to do the 212 and everything else.
Man that is pretty dope. Bad ass little bike. Would be so nice to have as a weekend rider to the store or wherever

Seems to run much smoother than the stock 28mm so far. Still need to dial it in 100% for power but it's for sure better. I always clutchless shift anything with straight cut gears haha

looking at buy and building an old honda passport/cub with a 212cc. Good to see videos giving more detail about the carb setup! keep it up!
good job with the carb tuning, its quite simple if you take the time to try different jets
what jets did you get i need to look through mine, i'm running the GPX 190 and I think I have a fuel delivery problem it seems to cut out a ton like I am running out of fuel I think I may change out my fuel lines and petcock.
Running 118 main and a 40 pilot right now. It's damn near perfect on my 212 so far

Ty be safe. I looped mine twice because I don't have the jets/fueling right and it surged on me. And it hurts falling. I've hurt myself more on this ct70 than any big bike I've owned
Oh I hear ya there, I'm pretty familiar with crashing bikes as much as I hate to say it haha. When I was young I broke both arms and collar bone at the same time on my dirt bike. Good times good times
Have you guys looked at the ignition trigger magnet on the flywheel? If it's a small circular one instead of a long rectangular one these engines suffer from lack of advance spark at higher rpms and cause these engines to stutter badly resulting in low top speed
What sprockets are you running front and rear?

@@bolanbuilt5903 it had some background noise at times like white noise. And I bounced back and forth on things to make sure the headphones were working. Maybe it was a fluke. I'll double check after my other video
@@bolanbuilt5903 still no sound for me. But I am only using my right earbud. I'd guess no sound or it's playing only on the left channel
Oh ya I think my camera only records 1 channel. That's probably it. I have to figure that out
