I kinda forgot how MirageGaogamon worked there at the end. Forgive me, a lot of blue decks are starting to run together in my brain, (out of all the colors I know blue the least). As far as Chaosmon goes, what blue will do is source strip him of at least one of his DNA targets and then get rid of him by something other than battle. The other colors, aside from black, will have more of a problem with him.

Also forgive me, I misspoke around Chaosmon and how DNA works. I know he needs black AND yellow to DNA not black OR yellow. Also failed to mention that you can hard evo on the level 6s in a pinch and get everything but the partition. Not bad!
Love the videos! Also love the leomon deck! I have been working on a leomon deck for awhile and didnt even think of the x antibodies! Mine is pretty much the same as yours but i lean into the bancholeomon instead of heavy. That -1 sec forces the opponent to get rid of it and it counters/delays magnamon. I also run the new tamer that gives your digimon blocker. Instead of saber i use kuwagamon ace as well as a couple others for options to mess with tamers and stuff! With all the on deletion and bancho its a frustrating deck to play against.
@@Papaslams GranKuwagamon ACE is a really good idea in this meta, for sure. As far as the X Antibody cards, be careful against other decks that can dedigivolve. They can take you down to the option card and your entire lionman is done.
I adore my Leomon deck. My deck in particular is a lot more tamer focused. I run two Taigas and the unsuspend Davis and Ken and the Mimi and Joe as well as 2 Mimis. I feel like the small boosts in value they all give me can really help push back after my board has inevitably been cleared by all the chicanery of my opponent. That being said to help support that I run 3 ST Terriermons to help get them out and two Panjamons (pulling out 2 grapleos) and while I miss the fortitude sometimes the inherited on panja giving rush to my leos after coming back from the dead has won me some very clutch games.
@@DerekGenoa I used to run the Davis and Ken but I needed room for the Chaos cards. If I was running more tamers Panjyamon/Terriermon would certainly be more tempting. I really do like hitting security as often as possible though, so I like my Fortitude.
Sounds cool though. There's a lot of room to play in Leomon. It doesn't feel solved yet at all.
Have you considered Analog Youth at all? It works really well with Madleomon and all the fortitude level 5s, plus its white so you can use mega digimon assembly with him as well!
@@DerekGenoa If it didn't toss cards into the trash that I might would rather it not, yeah it would be an auto include.
Ive been on the fence with leo. On one hand amazing cards, on the other the mirrage matchup 😢
@@kellanduevel835 Source strip, flip, and dedigivolve just aren't your friends. Also Leviamon. But at least you play well into DP- and deletion effects, that's not nothing.
Similar issue here. some friends wanted me to move to Digimon from other card games, and I built a Leomon deck because I thought he was cool in the show and they recommended it highly for beginners, but then they built decks specifically geared towards counteracting basically everything I could do, so they either rush me down before I can get any steam, or they're using Mirage and I feel like I'm getting nowhere. I've decided to take a break from the game after playing for only around 3 months.
@@SageTigerStar That sucks. It is a good deck for beginners to learn with, but it's not going to be much fun against the blue dog and friends.
If I can recommend a couple of beginner friendly decks that could do well and wouldn't be super expensive to build I say play ShineGreymon or AncientGarurumon. They're a little more complicated than Leomon but not outrageously so. And AncientGaru should do well for a while, and is getting even more support soon.
