The amount of Rookie level digimon that can become a leomon or it's variants is insane. That's what I love about Digimon though, the branching and intersecting evolution trees!
Tamers gave us more coherent and, well, tame evolutionary lines. But the sheer chaos of the ones shown in Adventures will always stay in the hearts of first-wave fans of the series :')

Finally, I mean don't get me wrong, but good Leomon dying in every series was starting to get annoying. Leomon is always getting the short stick in the anime, especially the Leomon from Digimon Tamers. The producers didn't even bring him back in the Tamers 2nd movie. Leomon's potential is being wasted.
You missed a lesser known, but still interesting line of the Leomon family. There is Leormon, the rookie leve.l Liamon, the champion level. And LoaderLeomon as the ultimate level. Supposedly this is the main digivolution line for BanchoLeomon. Though they never really got any anime time that I know of. Just obscure game data and cards.
I think there is also a sorta closely related Digimon in Spadamon. A Lion-like Child Digimon who is one of the "Arms Digimon," able to form his spirit and body into a weapon for others to utilize.

Talking about bancholeomon and chaosmon, you could talk about the Digimon from accel and their lines Kudamon og/2006 - Reppamon - Tyllinmon - Sleipmon (+Mitamamon from re arise) Liollmon - Liamon - Loaderleomon - Bancholeomon Falcomon og - Diatrymon - Yagataramon OG - Valdurmon Commandramon - Sealsdramon - Tankdramon - Darkdramon Considering that Chaosmon and Ultimatechaosmon are also from accel, it is not weird that they are made from these digimon There is also Kokabuterimon - Bladekuwagamon - Mettalifekuwagamon - Tyrantkabuterimon Dracumon - Sangloupmon - Matadrmon - Grandracumon

Leomon have been like side character that the animator and story writer (probably) hate so much, Leomon since Digimon Adventure been suffer in story, have bad end and barely do anything despite it's status as Warrior of Justice, heck even in Digimon Tamers Leomon straight death at front of it's Partner and that more fucked up than Leomon death in Digimon Adventure, make Leomon like Sean Bean Digimon counterpart.
Being a Leomon or its evolutions = instant death It’s become a running gag for the franchise Leomon -> Panjyamon -> SaberLeomon Leomon -> GrapLeomon -> BanchoLeomon
SaberLeomon was powerful enough to kill MetalEtemon in one blow (which was something that the original digidestined could not do with their two bullshit megas), just imagine the power that BanchoLeomon has. BanchoLeomon is an extreme badass who could destroy anything that is Ultimate/Perfect or below instantly.
its been a while since seeing another digimon video and it makes me want to play cyber sleuth. never really gotten into masters although would've played re arise on its release but didn't have time to add another daily grind game.
