- We visit Field BC and along the the Kicking Horse river west of the park to catch a couple trains.
Field BC is a crew change location and trains all stop here to do one with the exception of trains such as coal that go south at Golden BC or come up from the Crows nest .
Thanks Tony. That Park Bridge scene along the Kicking Horse River is spectacular. Thanks for making me smile with that great scene.
Thank you, the next video is one of my favourite spots on this trip. Beavermouth
Great job as usual Mr V. The aerial footage is just spectacular!
Your welcome, glad you enjoyed it
Another great video in a beautiful place. The railroad looks so close to the river , only the Drone to show this to us.
Thanks Marco, it is an interesting spot
I haven't commented on your other 2 recent vids, Tony, but I really enjoy how you present us the marvels and beauty of Western Canadian railroading. I can only say thank you for that over and over again! :-)
Thank you so much I really do enjoy doing this even without any payment. Its a hobby that I enjoy.
Awesome scenery, thanks for sharing.
Thank You, it gets even better in the next few episodes. :)
@@TonyVRailfanning Great I can't wait. Always loved traveling along the #1.
I enjoyed watching this
Thanks
As the WB rolled into Field I could hear the dynamic whine from the two toasters. Super drone footage from Kicking Horse Canyon!
Yes, heavy dynamics coming down that hill. Thanks for watching
Amazing Tony , a great wish of mine is to visit the mountain sub one day, from the UK thank you for sharing, what a beautiful place, and great to see from the air 😊
Thanks, glad you liked it
Love this one as I do with all the others!!
Thank you, glad you are enjoying them
Brilliant work
Thanks
Crew change always happens at the water shack (station) unless there are trains on the lead and in the yard.
Nice video
Thanks Bob
Love the new drone. Beautiful picture. We stopped at that rest stop on the way to GP on 7/2 and I stopped there for lunch on the 19th. Both times there were EB and WB trains going through. Where were you shooting from, up the old hey a bit.
Thanks Doug, I was standing at the far west side of the rest stop nobody around except an older couple and they enjoyed watching me fly the drone he was impressed with the technology thats out now
Love the drone footage
Thanks, it gets even better in Friday’s episode, might be my favourite one so far
Good footage, thanks.
Thank you
Field changed their searchlights to LEDs now!?! What are those little lights on the sides for
Those little lights are avalanche lights if the slide fence is tripped up to the east
@@TonyVRailfanning oh. Ok

Pretty sure you need to credit this music. Embrace by Sappheiros, right? I've used this music on one of the vids on one of my channels. Don't get the wrong idea - I'm not the music gestapo chasing down copyright issues. I really enjoy your videos, and don't want to see your channel vulnerable to copyright claims.
Not sure, its part of the copyright free library on RUclips
At 2:20, tripple main, or siding(s)? The zoom and resolution of your cam at 14:26 is incrediable. wow
The track in use is the main, the one next to it is the siding for trains to pass and the 3rd is a storage track to set off bad order cars for example that a hotbox detector points out as a problem or MOW and 3rd track at Field is access to the yard its self. Yes the zoom on my video camera is very impressive but its hard to track a moving object when zoomed in that close.
@@TonyVRailfanning Is there a yard near by? So set-offs are not too far to fetch.
@@olivei2484 yes, in the second view after the crew change there is a fairly large yard in Field. About 5 tracks maybe 7000 feet long each
