You can see where the tarmac has rippled in the sun and gravity has taken effect

That was great Andrew. Looked really steep even on the gopro! Must do it one day, as I love riding my 500x on these types of road.

A bit of Sun makes all the difference. I think I'll have to travel across from Thirsk just to do the pass. Didn't look busy either. Thanks for the excellent videos and keep up the good work. I'm finding my new Cb500x a bit bouncy on the country lanes a speed does you suspension mod help reduce the bouncing?

Thanks for your comment. Yes the RR kit makes the bike feel more planted. Much more control over preload on rear spring and the forks are much firmer.
I found the stock setup to be very comfy, but yes a little bouncy. Have you adjusted the shock sag ect for your riding weight. I found even the basic adjustment on the stock shock could make a difference.

I haven't done any adjustments yet, it's funny that I've put put the RR bash plate, bark busters on and soft luggage racks but haven't fiddled with the suspension. Its early yet though as it hasn't even done its initial 600mls yet so plenty of time I suppose. It's the 60mph down the country lanes that it is mostly noticeable. Still getting used to it being roady(lower) after trading in my Crf250 rally.

Kenny Woods for touring that’s all you’ll need. I’d give it 6 months or so. If you still crave the RR kit, go for it.

Kenny Woods my only regret, because I’m a short arse, is I didn’t go for level 2. That would be entirely different off road, but if you’d just be riding on road then level 1 is awesome.

Scratch that comment about level 1. Sounds like you’ve got a new bike, with the 19” front as standard. You’ve already got the 19” that I wish I had. How did you find your rally on the road compared to CB500x? I’ve been looking at the rally, crf450l or tenere 700.
