I can’t help but notice Godrick’s second phase is missing. Him grafting a dragon head onto his arm and it suddenly coming to life was such an insane moment.

Also... Ranni and Rykard I can understand Morgot's anger calling them traitor since they actually really does oppose. Surely Radahn once oppose them but after got hit point blank of scarlet rot outburst, he already lost his mind. But The others. What did they do that considered to be a betrayal?

@@viperakmal None of them are fighting for the golden order, but for their own cause and their ambition has left the elden ring continously shattered. They could have fixed things but chose not to. Malenia and Miquella are almost as bad as traitors as Rykard and Ranni, since they are creating their own version of the Erdtree and becoming gods for a different outer god than the Greater will.
"Have it writ upon thy meager grave. Felled by King Morgott, last of all Kings!" Is such a raw ass line

The Serpent King is my favorite sounding version of the “I made a deal with the devil and am now immortal” character, because while he is immortal (basically immortal; only the Spear can kill him), all-powerful, and incredibly strong, he was horribly fucked up in the process and now sounds like he’s deep throating a cactus.
Even when you kill him though he's not really gone. He says so himself which always means he can be reborn.
It's not even Rykard. His close commander said that once he gave himself to the Serpent his wisdom is gone. The God Devouring Serpent is not Rykard. Just a shadow of the Praetor that was.
You must have noticed, in every from soft game, immortality is preety f-ed up!

Godfrey's cutscene is one best and saddest ones. He embraces his dead son, who always thought nobody loved him. Also Serosh cries out in sorrow I guess. You can also see that his grace points at us, meaning that we are basically a boss fight to him.
His lore and Morgott's lore were sad as hell, and he respects us like a true warrior.
I thought his lines were pretty cringe.

The way Mohg talks to Miquella vs us is crazy, his voice for him is like a sweet loving sorta creepy voice albeit, and then he just goes Aggro voice on us
Fun fact: Mohg shares a voice actor with Titchy Gren from Dark Souls 2

I think Miquella was a kind person especially to his two elder brothers. I feel like Miquella visited Mohg once in the sewers and mabye with some remaining sanity left in Mohg, he's probably trying to protect him for his kindness

I do hope that the DLC will shed the lore behind Miquella and we ended up fighting him. If what Gideon said about Miquella is true, then we will get another Nameless King moments, bois

Morgott's, Radahn's and Maliketh's cutscenes all have incredible voices, as well as Godfrey's. Rykard's is good too because he just sounds hilarious.

Morgott's cutscene hits different after beating the game. Back when I fought him I kinda just thought "snake man can't fit in that chair" "arm man can't fit in that chair either," but now I realize that it's from back before the shattering when these demigods weren't corrupted by the power of the shards.
Before Godrick started grafting, before Miquella was taken from the haligtree, before Praetor Rykard gave himself to the serpent, and before Ranni slew her empyrean flesh. Even in the opening cutscene we can see that Radahn used to be much smaller in size, although I'm not exactly sure what caused him to grow.
I really like this cutscene now because it shows how things were much different before the calamity of the shattering.

in ACTUAL game lore, he was already having a size problem in his youth so i think they just copy pasted some chairs since you literally only see them once

I love how Malenia’s initial introduction, while she’s completely still and had not begun to speak, is intended to look like a hauntingly beautiful fresco painting. I’m exhausted, so my apologies if I used wrong terminology. It’s just a detail I absolutely love about Malenia’s outstanding portrayal, being a fan of this fictional story aswell as real architecture / oil paintings.

There are a ton of amazing intro cutscenes, like Ludwig, Laurence, Gascoigne, Amelia or even Micolash, but I still think Morgott's cutscene beats them all.

Rykrad, radagon and malenia are my favorite in term of aesthetic but morgott and godrick Dialogues gives me goosebumps
Rykard's "together we will devour the very gods" is my favorite, but pretty much every line is delivered brilliantly in these cutscenes

it’s all fun and games till the beast clergyman gains the power of god, anime, armor, a new moveset and destined death imbued into a giant ass sword on his side
The same beast clergyman who you probably struggled to hit a handful of times earlier after handing him the fourth deathroot
FromSoftware cutscenes just keep getting better, they're masters of visual storytelling at this point. Their art direction is miles ahead of any other big game studio right now, and I even wonder why. A lot of them have more resources than From.
FromSoft has learned very early on to respect the gaming community and not bite the hand that feeds you. And what they produce because of their understanding and humility is always top tier content.

Margit's speech in the first cutscene is like someone who tries to stop you from eating at taco bell. Then as Morgott he lists those who all took the shit from Elden Crunchwrap. And proceeds to deny you opportunity on the throne

Radahns entire backstory, fight, and even his fucking death is legendary. Him dying causing the meteors he was holding to crash and change the map was just insane.

Until I realized that Mohg and Morgott were the children of Godfrey and Marika, I just thought he was an old friend, or an acquaintance, not his *son*
Radagon and Godfrey are by far my two favorites of the final bossfights in the game just so cool altogether.
That shot of radagon holding up his hammer as the music starts gives me chills
Margit/Morgott scenes, the voice behind, the cinematography, the dialogues, everything is top notch.
The voice acting in this game is some of the best ever done. So fucking cool.
From Software does a excellent job at intros, my favorite being the elden beast. The way Radagon turns into the sacred sword and the music send chills

“God” is acknowledging your presence, and is ready to destroy you.
Margit/Morgott voice actor is the best

I love the softness of Con O'neill's voice when he's talking to Miquella, and then BOOM "welcome honored guest" raspy and roaring
Also he had a whole cult following, a trident, wings, and came out of a pool of blood
And he throws blood that's also on fire
How could you forget Godrick grafting the dragon head?
My favourite boss of all time is Radhan and Godfrey, Radhan has the most unique backstory and lore while Godfrey's cutscene is a experience itself. The devs put a lot of work into it because every bit is good, the part that the chilling music starts as he says "Upon my name as Godfrey", the part that he used to be a mindless chieftain and uses the lion to hold back all his strength and the fact that he respects us because he knows how much we struggled to get to this point. A total masterpiece.
Godfreys first cutscene made me sad when i realized morgott was his son
Kinda wish Astel got a cutscene, he is a freaky but cool looking boss. Reminded me a lot of Bloodborne.
Are we not going to talk about how insane and bone-chilling the Fire Giant cutscene is? From him ripping out his own leg to the face in his abdomen coming to life... it still gives me goosebumps to this day. It was exquisitely made.
My favorite one is the last one, the one with probably the best Combat music ever. The one with the main menu music.
Literal chills when I recognized the menu music thinking the fight was going to be epic. Sadly the follow up wasn't. It would've been better if Radagon was the last boss or something

I love Margit and Morgott’s cutscenes cause both times i can really feel their presence and their size compared to my character, their voicelines and mannerisms make the scenes even better

I love how the wooden likeness of miquella is behind melenia during her rot godess transformation. I didn't notice him my first playthrough but it really makes her boss fightthat much more iconic.

Godfrey gotta be one of my favourite bosses, his first phase, he talks to you as if you are a worthy opponent, plus his grace points to the tarnished, we are basically the bossfight for him.
It's so badass that when Radahn roars like a lion your ps4 controller vibrates.

I still can't get over the amazing voice acting on Morgott's cutscene. The way his voice changes from a respectable and praising tone when addressing General Radahn to immediately a tone of disgust when addressing Praetor Rykard is truly amazing.
Also his Damascus sword reveal is so good while he says "Pillagers! Emboldened by the flame of ambition!"
I think Radahn is still the most powerful among all demigods, I mean he made a star fall from sky... A FUCKING STAR. Malenia just cheesed him with his scarlet rot thingy, poor guy that was worse than death itself.

Holy cow, thanks! Even though I've never played Elden Ring, I've enjoyed watching a TON of videos on the lore, watching boss fights, watching battle royales of npcs, etc...........but I had no idea just how well it all fit together, how immersive and moving each boss and thus each part of the story was, until I saw these intro cinematics for each. Before it seemed like: "Okay, this game is REALLY cool, but all the various forms of rot and corruption and stuff, with bosses that look pretty similar and have similar names, it seems kinda disjointed as an actual story." But now that I see the cinematics I'm like: "Aahh, okay, I can much more easily see how one could be immersed in the story and how each boss (and their role in the story) feels more believable as an actual character (rather than just a boss mob to kill). Even seeing some lore videos on some of the demigods, it still didn't SHOW, in epic cinematic, that character demonstrating their personality, values, etc. So it was really cool to see how one could absolutely get caught up in, really immersed, in this awesome fantasy world :).
Morgott can call me foul tarnished whatever he want, I still would want to hug him, he deserved better :c

Morgott is easily my favorite boss. The one who was unphased by The Shattering and took up the mantle of king to protect the Erdtree and all those who hated him because of his birth.
One of the things I love; almost none of the cutscenes have music. Then you hit one of the best bosses in fiction and boom. Music. It's honestly jarring the first time you hear a boss with music in the cutscene. Cough cough Malenia cough.
