- The story of me losing the alternator on a night ferry flight over the Sahara Desert and having to fly by flashlight for over 8 hours. This is the second upload of theis story because the first attempt had some issues.

Scary is understatement.............flying at night over the sahara desert, completely dark, no instruments, flashlight is only tool keeping you alive, while the batteries slow loosing power, having to change the batteries in the dark, hoping you don't drop one, or break the conducting spring on the back of the cap.....
