    Torque converter on the small frame Minibikes is suicide. Lol from a stand still you could be leaning all the way forward and give it a small amount of throttle and it’d pick the front end right up 🤣

    Thumb throttle is my favorite one by FAR. My friend and I minibike on the snow and ice a lot and we go long distances. The response of the thumb throttle is perfect for immediately variable traction. And it is 1000 times easier and more comfortable to push the lever than twist your wrist. Especially for long distances. And I mean 20+ miles cross counties and different settlements and such.

    Cool vid, gave me some ideas about a light. Sorry for the non related question but u sound knowledgeable so if you got a header and muffler would it be okay to run without changing jet immediately? I have a epa carb with one direction jet and don't have new carb money at the moment but really want to hear it.

    • @megoingfast
      @megoingfast  4 года назад +2

      It won't hurt the engine, but likely won't stay running. The removal of flow restriction like a muffler means it will pull more air in faster. It needs to be able to pull in enough fuel to match the new change in air to get a good fuel to air ratio for combustion.

    So red beards garage put out a video using a 60 and 72t sprocket to increase performance. However if I want more top speed out of my ct200u, and I change the rear sprocket from 50 or 60 down to a 42, would I get more top end speed but loose torque?

    • @megoingfast
      @megoingfast  4 года назад +2

      Depends. Mostly the answer is yes and in most cases, yes. However if your engine is not strong enough to push you up further it may bog down quite a bit and be unable to get to that top to push you. Mostly though, yes. Going from 60 to 42 is a pretty big change though. Stock engines won't be happy.

I do slide shows and ride by videos, any suggestions for a lower priced but user friendly camera for some first person shots? I've seen all your lights and gear, you do a really great job. I keep investing in my projects to keep content coming but I've received some POV requests that I'd like to fulfill. I don't get paid to do this, sometimes my supplier helps me out but I'm putting in a lot of effort to keep it going. I want to have a positive impact on others while I can and by doing so prove that I'm valuable to myself if not anyone else besides God!

      I've been using the Gitup Git2Pro, but honestly it's time I invest in the GoPro 9 and wish I had sooner. Sound quality is a HUGE part in success and I've had a lot of people tell me about it. I've had about 7 different microphones between 4 different cameras and haven't nailed it yet. The GoPro with sound media attachment can be used as an all around camera at this point. Spendy, yes. The Gitup cost me $100 and it's what I've used for years for my first person shots.

    That performance clutch give more torque or top end speed?

    • @megoingfast
      @megoingfast  3 года назад

      If you mean over a regular clutch, neither. It can handle high horse power without blowing out and burning up. If you are comparing to torque converter - sort of neither, depending on setup. It's simply a mid-range and small drive train part that can withstand high loads. Torque converters are what's used in ATVs, Snowmobiles, and JR Drag racing events.

    • @megoingfast

      No header pipe recommendation for the RB100. They go in and out of stock a lot and the bolt pattern can be a pain to deal with. The air filter I use on the 212 is the same one I use on the 105. There is a video I have showing how to adapt with a drill. It's the "double HP" video. I show how to get more out of that 105cc engine and mount the air filter.
