Such a tiny footprint for all the computing tech inside it. Never ceases to amaze me how far the industry has come in the 30yrs since I was in it professionally. Thanks for the update Dean.
This video reminds me of the very MEME of two Good Guy Greg. Also, THAT super small Format Amp with BUILT in DSP and WIFI? THAT is what I have been Waiting for to happen for YEARS! Something small enough where you can just put away and hide and be done with it. Sure, I still love the larger format stuff. ALWAYS WILL. But when it comes down to most people and ever smaller cars? This is the way to go. Perfect item for the daily driver. And... MADE IN GERMANY! WHOO HOO! . SOOO COOOL!!!!! THanks for taking the time to show us this stuff!
Fantastic, I have just put a kicker key 180 in my b7 audi rs4 running a pair of jl audi c2 6.5” running active. It’s incredible how amps that fit in the palm of your hand are capable of the quality and power.
That’s Awesome, Hats off to you guys !!!! Can’t wait to Order one and try it out !! He really caught my attention when he mentioned the New GMC Sierra w/Bose System
That's the number one seller for me. It fits everywhere and sounds amazing. You should definitely start installing Helix amplifiers. V twelve will be great.
I have the Match 7 universal Amp/DSP combo , the software is the same as the Helix or Brax DSP units, and the class HD amp is super clean and loud , also it barely gets hot at loud volumes . This tiny amp is driving my center channel / front left and right and rear left and right , plus 2 10 inch kicker subs . Amps fits under the passenger seat of my 2019 F150.
@@corywilliams6762 Yes, I am using the factory unit but I have zero noise , no hissss at all. You can get the unit from www.Abt .com , they are just like crutchfield.
@Patrick S Loud & Clear. Most people don't realize how little power is actually needed to drive midrange speakers and tweeters which provide 90% of the frequencies present in most music... We're talking just a few watts to maybe 10 Watts to get really loud. If a speaker's sensitivity rating (SPL) is 90dB @ 1w/1m, that means that with just 1 Watt of power, that particular speaker will play at 90dB SPL when you are ~3 feet away from it (typical in most cars). Most car audio midbass & midrange speakers have a Sensitivity/SPL spec that's closer to 85dB @ 1w/1m, so yeah, you'll need more power, but 50-75 Watts for midrange & tweeters is PLENTY. Sure, for midbass and subwoofers you need exponentially more power, but still not what most people think, especially if all of the speakers have good phase coherency and are time aligned to the listening position....this means that they all "group together" to increase the perceived loudness level. In this Mercedes, the 8" midbass speakers are located in the front footwell "kick panels", which boosts their loudness and efficiency via a phenomenon called "corner loading" or "boundary loading". And in general, the interior cabin size of vehicles naturally boosts the lower frequency ranges, especially in the 45-55Hz range by ~9-12dB,.so.you essentially get extra "power for free". Having said all that, keep in mind that this particular Mercedes has a VERY QUIET interior straight from the factory, so wind, tire, & road noise aren't as much of a factor compared to most vehicles. Generally, you do need more power, especially in the low frequencies to overcome driving & road noise and to provide "impact'' in most cars that aren't as quiet as this Benz.
@@bbfoto7248 I wish I could thumbs up your reply more than just once. Clearly you nailed all of the issues involved with audio reproduction in an automobile extremely accurately and you made the information understandable for everyone. Nicely done sir!
Hello there . Kindly give me your expert advice on this : so I’m planning of getting a Helix G4 or a G2 Amp solely to drive a single 12” sub in my boot. Well, since I couldn’t find any user reviews anywhere, I’ll be glad if you are able to advice me on that. Thanks
low power, high efficiency, dsp?, sounds like they're targeting the entry level sq market to me, and that is where my next question is coming from, what's MSRP?
Nice Video! i bought the Match M5DSP MK2. I installed in in my new car, but i have the problem that when i connect the amp with the laptop through USB, it says that it is connected for 2 seconds and after that its disconnected. So i cannot get the connection. Maybe the DSP PC tool is too new for the amp? Could you help me with this problem?
its a set of TPA3118s. this guys hyping it all up. Sure the DSP and start stop power supply is cool, but the chip amp is just a run of the mill class D power amp with a properly designed output filter. thats all. 3:32 that TPA chip is capable to run at a switching frequency of 1.2 mHz. at that range you dont TECHNICALLY need an output filter as that RF would deplete in the 10+ foot speaker wire BUT it could interfere with the cars stuff. old tech in a new box. nice to see decent power in real tiny boxes now.
Download and run the demo from www.audiotec-fischer.de and you will see that you pay for a lot more than some class D power amps :) Have this in our VW T6.1 Multivan in a fully active configuration with the small PP8-Sub and it sounds just great if properly set up.
Wow, that's really cool! Amazing how small these amps are getting!
bigD test one of these !maybe a drag race against a audison apf bit 8.9
5 Star Car Stereo goes Audiotec Fischer! How awesome is that! Greetings from Germany!
Da schließe ich mich an, Grüße aus Hessen

Time alignment is awesome! I decided to not run my center channel in my '19 Ram 1500 and after tuning, don't miss it a bit!
So excited for the future of car audio!! This is amazing

By the way the unit is $1200.00
If at least half the event had things like this, then this year is gonna be huge for mobile audio
When are u gonna make a video of this amp in your shop?
Audiotec Fischer is the same manufacturer as Helix and Brax.
Basically the best stuff money can buy.
Really like this amp
get you some audiotech-fisher love my mini helix dsp
Editing Beast.
i have the match 86dsp its a little bigger but it have 8 channels with 55rms .
its sound amazing
wild little setup
Good but how much ???
always love audiotec fisher (brax helix )they are shzitttttttt! worth the money !!!! I see a rzr back there in that booth is this marine grade?
That is what I need but can I afford it🤔
Great video
Perfect size for a Smart car
I heard mention of High level, Toslink and optical input but no mention of low level input?
Do they make low level harness to allow Preamp RCA input?
I just got a Helix SDMI25...amazing stuff for factory integration. Those Germans are some great engineers
How much??? and from where??
Rob Weiner I have a Audi A8 and the installer in my city recommend it. It just came in this week. Ran about $600 for the interface.
That's insane
Difference in sound between highpower mode and midpower? Affects quality or just volume?
Whatever happened to Blaupunkt?
they sell emt at autozone besides they where never on this level as brax or helix
Can't believe that thing works as good as you're saying. Was it loud and clear, though, or more for medium volume listening?

That's just nutty (in a good way).
So I just went to Crutchfield to check out the pricing on those bad boys and it shows that they’re already discontinued?
Class HD.......Sounds like they might be using the same tech that JL Audio uses on their HD Amps.
Is it just for german cars?
Can u use it with an aftermarket radio?

That match amp/dsp looks too good to be true.
The MK2 is the newest edition of the amp, the MK1 has been out for a few years now.. the Match UP7 is the all in one 7 channel .. whoa it's awesome..
How do we contact to get an install done

Whays up guys? How much for something like that, I have a vw touareg and that would be perfect ? Thx
I want those
Hehehe It's so tiny, his ID badge is a "real size" M 5DSP MK2...
Loves me some Audiotec Fischer.
it would be nice for a link for the actual AMP! But why would anyone like that>!>!>!!>>!
I thought ‘match’ was like for matchbox size. Lol. I guess it’s only a matter of time before amps are actually matchbox size 😐
Anyone else see something fishy with the larger pcb?
the thickness?
@@goblinphreak2132 look at how long the 2nd PCB is vs. The length of the amp. Something dont add up
