Always loved you as an actress and I'm just discovering your music. I like the way you smile while singing, It reminds me of Carol King.
I was going to say the same thing but also about the style & composition of the song. It had that-that Sound; like from the 70s era songs; similar to It's Too Late & It's going to Take Some Time from Carole.
She's got a beautiful Carly Simon vibe. Better actually. Love this!! 😊
There is some real weird harmony in that tune. Bold. Uncommon. Nice. She plays distinctivly good piano.

Alicia I wish I only knew you from Hallmark Christmas movies and I certainly did not know that you had done 10 of them had no idea that you also sang and played piano at all and I'll tell you what oh do I ever loved listen to you you smile while sing and boy there's one part of consolation prize when you're talking about that picture that she threw out I don't know when you ever breathed I mean excellent and I can't think of the name of this song it's like one word you're laying in bed singing and your reach over and take a drink of some kind of booze and then you get up and the guys are all playing in this white room and you lean back against the door facing and her singing and then the next thing you're sure it at other room just having to fit so I tell you what I love you babe

Great song but you can hear how over-compressed the audio is; I don't know why producers insist on destroying otherwise good songs that way. :-(

Both harmonically and melidically too static. These honest lyrics would have added dimension with different music. Your pop inclinations are shooting yourself in the foot. Sorry the composer in me might be outa line here. I just think you're too talented for this.
Very much out of line, if it were up to personal opinion. Maybe this is what she wanted. Perhaps this is what SHE envisioned. But hey. Music is subjective. What works for some may not work for others.
