Bedrock had gotten the short stick literally every time until this. Most Java players don't even like to acknowledge the existence of Bedrock and its players unless they have an opportunity to feel like a victim.

So not only they ignored java wich is the one reaching the 15 years. They also made a cape for shitok and not youtube wich is the one who put minecraft on the map

Both capes are amazing. My personal favorite has to be the twitch one though.
the way they did me as well as others dirty with the 1.20 mob vote in the "physical" server to vote in order to get the cape is crazy. I thought as long as you were signed in to your microsoft account and voted you would get the cape and I am astounded that I "missed" out on it
if you did the mob vote on the website you should have it on your java account. I did the vote on the website (not knowing I wouldn't get it on my bedrock account also), but my Java account has it.
I voted on the launcher, I didn't even know there was a cape.

2022 was the first mob vote that I participated in. All the negative feelings surrounding that one by the community soured my enthusiasm for it. I decided to skip last year's. It was a major bummer when I found out what I missed due to my apathy.

@@hassanbutbored The end won’t be updated for a long time until the rest of the biome vote stuff gets added, and maybe a possible deep dark update but that will probably be abandoned.
@@thaboss1451the difference here is that the end hasn't even gotten a lick of attention since 1.9 which came out February 29th in 2016, which was *8* *years* *ago.* Meanwhile, 4 years ago the nether got such a big update that it made the dimension a fully sustainable and livable environment, to the point that you could beat the game even if you began in the nether, and was so incredible that it set the precedent for all future updates. Furthermore, the overworld gets some form of new feature *every* update plus had an overhaul 3-4 updates in a row for the past couple years (1.17: all the required stuff for the overhaul, 1.18: terrain generation update, 1.19: the deep dark, 1.20: archeology). So now compare all of the stuff in those places in those dimensions to the end and you'll realize *just* how lacking it is. If they don't do an end update soon we will inevitably riot. Like, The End has been the same for more then half the game's existence. It deserves some love.

People discussing about how Java is the version that's turning 15 years old but Bedrock got the attention is funny... I'm a Java player, and I prefer this few things instead of Microsoft taking over the version (of course, I don't want it to disappear as well), and just converting the Java edition in a money machine like Bedrock, that'd just rise nightmares on my head xd

Im not a hater. I think the mob vote has good meaning to get to know what the people want, maybe its not been done well as of recent.
But this is clearly just trying to promote bedrock and ive not played that since like 2019, thats 5 years... Bedrock hasnt even been out 10 years.. Javas been out 15 years! I know legacy consol used to have texture packs for birthdays and in like 2014 that was cool. But it doesnt make sense!!!!

I have a question Ecko i know it's not related to the video but do have any issues when importing skins on Minecraft Bedrock on your mobile phone, because i have that issue my custom skins didn't work or it always says "its not a Minecraft skin silly" hope you can give your thoughts or opinion about how to resolve it

when i go to the minecraft redeem page the twitch and tiktok ones arent there, but if i use a vpn and set it to america and go to the page its there. so these capes will probably only be for USA only

Java gets freed mods that work, client side mods, and the April fools snapshot. Not on bedrock tho

The TikTok and Twitch Capes are also available on Java. It’d just be available a little later during the month
I really wish the Twitch cape was in Java. I create and watch livestreams on it. This was a missed opportunity because most streamers stream Java not Bedrock. I can’t see why they won’t add it to Java also.

So Java edition turns 15 years old and bedrock being only 9 years old gets more rewards than java? And the one reward that java gets can be obtained in bedrock while all of bedrocks rewards are only exclusive to that version..

Both the Twitch cape and the Tiktok cape will show up on July 8th. Till then, they only show on Bedrock. For those asking why.

Minecraft have a handful of streamers, when they go live you get the code. We don't know who the streamers are yet though.

@@Randommanontheinternet9641I think (as someone who played Java for 7 years then voluntarily switched to bedrock) that Java will die on its own. Mojang is making excellent headway on plug and play mods, and you don't have to mess with files. Minecraft Java is still a great version but bedrock runs so much better, and the random death bugs have been removed. Sure, I will always hate the marketplace, but you can just ignore it
