I just ordered it during the Sale 11.11 - looking forward to test it. Thanks for your work and dedication to Sony APSC cameras though they are so expensive as well as their original lenses... That's why it's a huge relief to know that there are companies out there making e-mount lenses of very good quality but much more affordable for a budget user
I'm assuming the left images were shot on the Sony, especially in the shot of the iPhone there is more detail in the ring around the camera lens if you really look for it, but from a distance or even in the second image it's very very close. If the left image was taken on the TTartisan please let me know so I can buy it right away, I might even still haha
Just got this lense love it. Tired of other reviewers saying this lense is a deal breaker because of internal reflections after shoving a flashlight up the barrel of the lense stupid lol.
Do you have videos on using macro lenses for videos? I think it could be fun! Thanks for making this video by the way, I’ve bought a bunch of lenses thanks to your videos 🤣
Thanks for introducing such incredible value. My guess is Sony on the left for both pics due to the marginally narrower depth of field. It is really hard to tell the difference
I got the 25mm f1.8 7artisans lens for my fuji. $75, and man it is sharp all the way from 1.8. Hopefully I'll pick up the fuji xf 23mm f2 at some point ($450) but in the meantime I am not dissapointed with my cheap chinese manual lens
Corner sharpness in close up macro is not great. Making photos of my old negatives with VALOI 360 I get better results on my A6300 with an old Helios-44-2 58mm with cheap extension tubes.

The lens is explained in detail and is easy to understand. Great! !!

Thanks for reiview. This lens looks great, it would appear that this is provides image quality even in portrait ,functionality beyond its price.
thats alot of fun for 100 bucks, i like macro for insects, a good macro lens is like a gate to a new world.
Very rarely, are people shooting Macro at f2.8. I could see someone getting shots of wedding bands maybe? I may give this one a try? Thanks!
cant wait for the Album drop from DJ Optical
Mine just arrived. Holy crap is it ever good. The fact that it is so cheap is hard to believe. Seriously. Shocking!
Nice!
And thank you :)
I would lean to split the difference and go for the 7 Artisans macro.
I think my kids, 7 and 11 would really get into that!
Any love for the Venus Optics Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro?
Awesome review as always! Could you review the Pergear 10mm f5.6, thanks a lot in advance😊!!!
Sony on the left, no question. But the photos on the right don't suck.
I see some kind of dirt on sensor: on left and right photos at the same places
Arthur, would you compare this to the Sony 30mm macro??
Could you make a video about ND filters? I have a lot of trouble when filming in day with 50 shutter speed at
Any idea about how the lens might work with extension tubes? Would be greatly interesting to see!
I picked this up because of its size. I now see other reviews stating it has bad internal reflections. You don't mention that.

Sony on the right?

Are they sharp like sigma lenses ?
The image on the left has a narrower depth of field, so I assume it's from Sony. The results of both lenses have much in common though.
Please make a video on ZV e10 with different lenses.
Thank you for this review 🔥
Sony on the right? Looks a bit sharper.
Wish they would make a full frame macro that costs only 179
I never actually used tt or 7artisan lenses. Might give it a shot

@@andrewsmicroscope thx for sharing!
You can try ttartisan 35mm f1.4 or 50mm f1.2, I have the 35mm f1.4 and try my friend's 50mm 1.2. All pretty good lenses with low price.
I have this lens.. Very nice ! Manual lens
Considering the price difference I prefer ttartisan macro. It's really a cost effective lens.

The 110mm f2.5 Voigtlander APO lens is the best macro I’ve used but it’s also around a thousand dollars
My guess, sony on the left
#1:L #2:R , identifying which were shot with the Sony lens.
40mm/50mm
Left by TT
500 bucks, tt; tt, 500 bucks
Sony is probably the left and TtArtisan on the right. Just a guess though
