Congratulations to the girls for their character but also to their parents for raising two young women who are, not only willing but, eager to take on challenges like towing! A little weird coming from a stranger but I’m proud of them!
What a kind comment to find on here! Thank you so much. We will be sure to share with the girls. We are super proud of them as well! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
I agree with the first poster. Watching your girls and KYD's kids and Less Junk's two little ones grow up is so neat. All of you become our "digital friends" and we older folks have parental pride as we see them grow but also toward you moms and dads for how you are raising them. I always think it's got to be a little weird when thousands of strangers feel like they're your friends already when you first meet them. All of you are quite approachable and care about others so that must make for lots of interruptions in your life, I'd assume. I'm excited about this journey you're on because we're going to Glacier soon and we're in a Winnebago View which is similar to the Lineage. Keep up the good work and have fun!
I think the first video of yours that I watched was you guys camping at the wall. The girls sitting in their chairs listening to the coyotes howling! I then went back and watched all your videos, been a subscriber ever since then. Three shirts later, and I’m still here. Watching your videos REALLY makes me want to hit the road again. Heading to California, from Arkansas in a few weeks. Not looking forward to the $6 gas prices but I’m wanting to hit some more national parks. Planning an Alaska trip next year. I’m looking forward to seeing all your adventures in the new RV. Thanks for sharing your trips with us.
The bad lands are incredible, we spent 5 nights in June of 2023 there and drove to the ridge twice. We regret not staying up there, the views were amazing. We also spent some time in Walls also. Then we headed closer to Mount Rushmore, Carter state park where we spent another five days along with driving to see devils tower. We have a dog so it limited us on what we could do and I was still recovering from being very sick in 2022. Bit this was a dream trip, and we made the best of it with our limitations. So safe travels, and I look forward to seeing your Alaskian adventures!
I agree your girls are amazing. The parenting is excellent. You’ve inspired me to at least try to go outside my comfort zone and go ahead and learn to drive the truck and 30 trailer😳🥰 still going to Maine this fall. Excited and with all your help I have lots of places to go. Thanks again for helping me with my planning.
We went full time this March and camped on the wall for the first time. Imagine our total shock when we realized you were parked behind us and our rig was in your video. We would have loved to say hello but didn't recognize your new rig, which is just beautiful. We have been sharing your drone footage with our families, who in general think we are crazy.
Omg i couldn’t stop crying. I felt like i was losing this home as I’ve been here from the start. Go Leila and Lily for making the ride. They rock totally. I’m so excited to watch you as you begin this next chapter. ❤😢
WOW! What a great video!!! Those views were amazing. I just told my husband we HAD to do it! Thanks for taking us on all of your journeys! I can't wait to see what Alaska has in store for us!
So exciting! We live in North Pole, Alaska. We have an RV in Virginia and have a New England trip planned for this Fall. We have a class C and love it!
I live in New England, and it's beautiful here in the fall (best time of year to me). Ironically, my two favorite states are Vermont and Alaska. Traveled up to Fairbanks our first time there in 2010, then down to pick up our cruise ship in Seward. Loved it so much have gone back to Alaska four more times. Hoping to get there at least one more time! Enjoyed some time in Virginia years ago; highlights were Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. Drove down one route through New York & New Jersey, but came home through Maryland & Pennsylvania. It's a tad bit longer, but it was a more comfortable ride for us. Safe travels - enjoy leaf peeping and harvest time in New England.🍂🍁🍏🍎😊
There is no doubt that it's easier to get in and out of places with a class C, but we are REALLY happy with our 5th wheel......interior space is a HUGE thing for us. Keep on enjoying your travels.
This wouldn't not be doable full time for our family, that is for sure, but for a trip like this, it is absolutely perfect! SO glad you guys are happy with your 5th wheel! That space is so nice!
You kids are doing great!! Spent 5 days on the west rim with Pop's and Mr. Dink the year we met you in White Sands NP... 2022.... Love your content and watching the kids grow... Stay grounded and carry on!!

Another great video. Your channel has a special character that has remained consistent over the years. Looking forward to the Alaska adventure in your new home.
We where at that overlook, or closet to it in the early 70's. Didn't change much that I can see. We had a wicked storm over night, scared the sh-t out of us. Truck camper twisted on the bed! Love following you guys
It can be super scary in a storm especially in high winds. So glad you guys made it out unharmed. I know there are small RVs that have actually blown over the edge. Thank you so much for watching and joining us!
Love the new class C. I know it’s only temporary for you, but I’m looking forward to seeing how you like it. We’re currently in a 38 ft fifth wheel and I really want to go to Alaska when we retire in 3 years. I’m thinking a smaller class A or a class C would be better. I think with one the size of the lineage would be great as you could take it in to town and places when you need supplies. I’m currently watching Wild RV Life and Open Roading in Alaska. They both have fifth wheels and have had some trouble finding spots to park overnight. Can’t wait to see your adventures up there too!
Lots of feels in this episode. Loved the Badlands Wall dispersed camping. I've added it to my bucket list. I've been to Wall Drug before many years ago. Time to go again.
We thought so too! I, Jess, cried watching the final cut when Corey was done editing. Really hope you are able to make it to the Wall SOMEDAY soon! It it such a great stop!
You should give the camper to the girls. So they can do their own adventures!! They know how to do it, because they have grown up in it!! Then you 2 can go on your own. Maybe not all the time, but on their own adventures.
Lily has been looking at some van build outs for her own trips! I would want them to be in something smaller than our Reflection. Much easier to maneuver and get into cool places with!
I love watching your journey. We have done some of the same places. Last year, we did the mad dash to Glacier, but in a similar fashion, we always finish our summer on Sebago Lake. That's where we are now. 10 days at Sebago Lake State Park before school starts.
We have the Winnebago view. Very similar to your unit. We pull a two door wrangler for all our adventures. Just my wife and I as we are retired. The Mercedez chassis is very comfortable and easy to drive. The drivers seat is very comfortable for long days driving. It will be nice that all four of you can share the driving now. Thanks for the information you sent me re places to go to in Maine. We will certainly make good use of your recommendations.
We love our class C (actually a converted shuttle bus) ... makes travel days SO relaxing. Thanks for the map of the badlands boondocking road.... just saved it on my maps 👍🏼

I've got to be honest, we are retiring soon. I was looking to get a bigger truck for our camper, but seeing y'all in a class C changed my mind. I want a class C now. Thank you
It all depends on how you want to travel. We really love our truck and having another vehicle for full time living is very beneficial. But if you want to take shorter trips from a home base throughout the year, a Class C or Super C is a great option. We love so many things about both types of RVs. Really enjoying this trip and can't wait to share more about the new RV with you guys!
Yeah I was strongly thinking about going from our trailer & truck to a smaller class A but seeing you guys in a smaller class C and making it work has me re-considering a class C. Look'n good you guys! :)

Thank you so much. We made it through before the fires, thank God. We are devastated by the damage to Jasper and all of the people involved are in our prayers.
I think you guys need to consider adopting me as your road grandma, hahahaha. Loved the video, it will be interesting watching you adapt to a new, smaller rig. I have a 3 day/2 night tent camping trip planned for the weekend after Labor Day with my ex-roomie and his fiance, camping at Bell Bay Campground near Harrison, ID, right on Lake Coeur D'Alene, we have (2) waterfront campsites reserved next door to each other, I am SO looking forward to it. I haven't been camping since 2016, although my sis and I have done a couple of epic road trips since then, last one being early May of 2023.
Hubby and I did Badlands and boondocked for 5 days. One afternoon, we had a knock at the door. Our tent camper neighbors wanted to warn us of the snake under our rig.
Couple things: we stopped at the wall as our first boondocking spot when we started full timing 2 years ago. There is now a loves rv park in Box Elder just before Rapid City. And we did an "RV cribs" video
I can relate to crying when you trade vehicles. As a child (I’m old) I cried when my parents traded in our 57 Chevy for a ford…. Which turned out to be a lemon. A few years later my dad said I was right about the Chevy.

I remember you guys taking Grandma’s class C to the RV show in Tampa! Wow, I’ve been watching you a long time. Remember you meeting Less Junk More journey in Alaska. Have been following them that long too. Hey Corey, didn’t you run out of gas at the border coming back in the US? 😆
New sub to your channel. My wife and planned to drive to Alaska but I had a stroke a few months ago. Now I’m disabled and plan to follow you on your journey.
@@puceater2311 You have an amazing attitude - that alone will take you far in your recovery. My husband & I planned to travel more when we both were retired. Fortunately we got in a few trips before covid, but then my brother got sick out of state, so traveled back & forth there, and then my husband became ill as well, so we weren't able to do our Mt. Rushmore trip as planned. Maybe someday. Prayers to you for your recovery so that you & your wife can get back on the road! 🙏
Mercedes frame. It won't. Bend, nice interior. Hope you have roadside assistance. When it breaks down, you will need it. And parts a week min. Good luck getting an oil change.
Thanks, Gary! So far so good on the ports . I’ve got a 16 inch MBP with the M1 chip so it’s a couple years old now maybe 3 at this point 😳 we also have a couple 14 inch with the M2 and the newest is a M3 no issues so far.
Badlands are great. We have been discussing Class C change from current 5th wheel. In this video, compared to voices, music was very loud.. or voice was extra quiet, unless it’s just our connection.
I had some audio level issues with this one, not your connection. The class C is a bit louder than the truck, and DJI did a firmware update that changed some of my MIC settings .
was the cattle guard in place at the Badlands boondocking area the last time you were there, or the old barbwire gate? the first couple times we had to get out and open and close the gate but the last time the cattle guard was in place so we just drove across.
Yeah, so with any motor RV, you won't be as fexlible as with a towable. No parking and then tooling around to different spots. Ultimately, I don't think it will work for the type of travel you do. Might be fun for a while, but ultimately you will find out! Good luck.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting how far out of synch your videos are. You’ve just mentioned that 4th of July is in the future twice in the video. Disregard. Enjoy your trip.
We are storing it while we are in Alaska and will be selling it when we get back because our new RV that we have been designing will be done this fall! We can't wait to share it with you guys!
did I miss somewhere in your videos what rig you are having after this AK trip? Are you keeping this class C or moving to something else since you said you're never sleeping in your TT again?
WE have been working on an RV with Grand Design that we have designed and it will be done this fall. So we will be moving out of the Lineage into our new Reflection!
Good video 😊 just asking why not take your truck and trailer are you thinking it will not making it grand design is having problems with springs frame damage they have a bad reputation now not wanting to fix there product 🤔
@@FindingOurSomeday very nice. I just looked it up. I keep going back and forth with which one to buy. I almost got the one you had, but never pulled the trigger. I guess I’ll stick with my Blackstone for now and the portable propane grill. Those meats you smoked just looked so good!

New sub to your channel. My wife and planned to drive to Alaska but I had a stroke a few months ago. Now I’m disabled and plan to follow you on your journey.
I do not like this comment…. I’m so sorry to hear this. I will do my best to edit the videos to have you come along with us. Praying for healing!

@@FindingOurSomeday I find it a blessing that I’m still alive to enjoy your videos. I will recover and I will make the trip.

We have had a great time in the RV and the Mercedes has been great. Loving the ability to go anywhere we want in it! Thanks for joining us!
we did the trip 30 times coming and going theNY from WA. always stop at Wall.
That is amazing! It is always worth the stop!
Spectacular views.
I’d love to travel like that. Just need to figure out a way to make a living to afford it. Great video.
Heading west for a trip to Yellowstone and Washington.
Awesome! Such wonderful places to explore! #itsbetteroutside
What an awesome video and awesome views at the band lands. On a side note, Ihow are your USB-C ports holding up on your Macbooks?
Thanks, Gary! So far so good on the ports . I’ve got a 16 inch MBP with the M1 chip so it’s a couple years old now maybe 3 at this point 😳 we also have a couple 14 inch with the M2 and the newest is a M3 no issues so far.
You guys did some long driving days
This is going to be fun!!
This is going to be great!
Where are y’all storing the truck?
It’s hooked to the trailer still in that warehouse
Since you are using Open Roads, fill your DEF at the diesel pump at Love’s, Speedway or other commercial dealers
This thing goes through some serious DEF so we sometimes have to supplement! Thanks for watching!
We camped/boondocked at "The Wall" over the 4th of July. July 3-5, 2024. It is really indescribable.
We were there the night of the 2nd!
Great video.
Oh! That's your permanent RV now? Oh my... Y'all be careful!
❤love camping at the Wall, even though it was 103°😅
was the cattle guard in place at the Badlands boondocking area the last time you were there, or the old barbwire gate? the first couple times we had to get out and open and close the gate but the last time the cattle guard was in place so we just drove across.
It was the gate the last 2 times we have been! It was so nice to have the cattle guard there! Thanks for watching!

Yeah, so with any motor RV, you won't be as fexlible as with a towable. No parking and then tooling around to different spots. Ultimately, I don't think it will work for the type of travel you do. Might be fun for a while, but ultimately you will find out! Good luck.
Ultimately it has turned out to be the most flexible RV we could have imagined.
Need to adjust the sound. Background is a lot louder than the truck. Barely can hear you.
Hey guys. Which way are you going to Alaska from Glacier?
We’re in Alberta on the way north if you take highway 2 to connect with AlCan. Safe travels.
We went up through Banff/jasper then 40 up to Dawson Creek.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting how far out of synch your videos are. You’ve just mentioned that 4th of July is in the future twice in the video. Disregard. Enjoy your trip.
You probably went right by us then. I hope you missed the fires in and around Jasper.
Are you storing it just for the Alaska trip or are you getting rid of it for the class C
We are storing it while we are in Alaska and will be selling it when we get back because our new RV that we have been designing will be done this fall! We can't wait to share it with you guys!
@@FindingOurSomeday that’s awesome! I’m excited for you guys!! Is it another TT or are you keeping it 🤐🤫 till then?
I noticed blocks on your front tires. Does the Lineage not have auto leveling?
Yes, it’s awesome 🤩
I'm sad to see the trailer go! Will you miss having the truck for excursions?
Motorized is so much better!!!
We are loving the easier travel in it for sure!
Kinda surprised y’all been towing that without tow mirrors all this time. 8ft wide trailer I assume.
did I miss somewhere in your videos what rig you are having after this AK trip? Are you keeping this class C or moving to something else since you said you're never sleeping in your TT again?
WE have been working on an RV with Grand Design that we have designed and it will be done this fall. So we will be moving out of the Lineage into our new Reflection!
❤❤❤
Was at the wall in mid March in my Revel..... I was the only one there.
Congrats on the Class C. What will you be doing for a tow vehicle?
I may have missed the video where you explained it, but is this your permanent new RV? Or are you just using it for the summer?
Cool 😎
But where will Cory store his smoker and grill for all of his delicious cooking???
22 states have seat belt laws that say all occupants must be belted. DOT belted? I don't know. Are the dinette seats DOT belt approved?
Good video 😊 just asking why not take your truck and trailer are you thinking it will not making it grand design is having problems with springs frame damage they have a bad reputation now not wanting to fix there product 🤔
Question, are you renting this rig while yours is being built out?
This one’s on loan for field testing 😃
What way is the best way to stay where you did in the badlands
Hit Wall SD and head straight south. It will be on the left a couple miles before the NP entrance. You will see RVs .
@@FindingOurSomeday thank you guys so much we greatly appreciate you guys taking us along.
As a foodie, I’m wondering if you fit your smoker and the Blackstone in the Lineage?
Just the Blackstone unfortunately, miss the smoker for sure! I have a new one getting shipped in September, excited to try it!
@@FindingOurSomeday what kind are you getting?
it’s a kickstarter , Asmoke Essential .
@@FindingOurSomeday very nice. I just looked it up. I keep going back and forth with which one to buy. I almost got the one you had, but never pulled the trigger. I guess I’ll stick with my Blackstone for now and the portable propane grill. Those meats you smoked just looked so good!
