I don't think you'll go wrong with it, I would have been over the moon to get this as my first tablet, let alone today as a longtime artist. :)
I had been doing research on drawing tablets and found your channel, thanks for the incredibly detailed and fast reviews! Literally no one is doing as informative and straightforward as this channel!
I have been drawing on an 11 inch IPad for the past few years and finally wanted to get a pen display. This one was extremely catching my interest but nowhere could I find an in depth review of it. Thank you so so much for this!
I bought this a few weeks ago and everything he says about this tablet is true. Great product. Great customer service and speed of delivery was a day earlier than expected. All the way from South Africa.
Thank you very much for your in-depth review. I spent many hours searching through videos and online reviews and this one was the best. I am a big fan of the matte texture on the screen instead of a smoother surface. Thanks for the explanation about the cursor being off by a few pixels near the edge of the screen. A lot of reviewers say that is a defect but it makes sense that you can see the cursor near the edge of the screen instead of covering it with the pen tip and is verified when you put it into Left Handed mode.
Really detailed review, you told us everything we need to decide whether or not to buy it. Personally I watched a lot of reviews about this specific tablet and only yours made me make my final decision.
Great review, helped me form an opinion on this product as a potential buy in the near future and it was a good one. It's very informative and covered all the bases (at least, for me). Love the work you do! :)
If this one had the etched glass it would be an easy pick. But with a matte screen protector which I think can scratch and wear down, it's difficult because the pen on this is better, but the Pro had a better etched glass screen.
Pro16 2021 was also improved new pen type as kanvas16 2021,better screen glass covered ,with a slider touchpad plus ,better stand case, but no full fuction type c as kanvas16,and little bit heavyer
I'm amazed with the difference over last year's model. The big thing for me is the improved colour reproduction. My only concern is reliability if there's anything to the Android experience. I wouldn't want it to suddenly fry my computer's USB.
I'm not looking to buy this, I just like Teoh's videos. The tracking and parallax looks better than my xp-pen 15.6 which is my newest device. If calibrated correctly the xp pen is okay but if you angle your hand different or go to the edges it's pretty bad. General drawing is okay but this Huion looks quite a bit better. Would be interesting to see how it compares to the innovator 16. I'm getting an ipad because I used to use surface pros and I miss the no parallax and touch screen capabilities. What I'm curious to try is using the ipad as a second monitor like my xp pen. I've almost made my way through all the main brands haha, I've owned surface pros, Huions, Xp Pens and now ipad soon. Just need to get a cintiq 😋
XP-Pen Innovator 16 and this Huion are quite evenly matched in terms of functionality and drawing performance. It's difficult to choose. The scroll wheel on the XP-Pen is very useful for changing brush size, and XP-Pen has 18-months warranty.
I’ve tried duet display and ended up getting a year of it accidentally and honestly the pen pressure is horrible for iPad, it’s not consistent at all and the lines are always too thick it too thin no matter how careful you are
there is a kamvas 16 model that is sold in china that supports touch (it's gt-156 in mainland.). it also comes with all in one usb-c cable that suppplies power, display and controls.
thank you so much because my birthday is in some days and my mom wants to get me one for my birthday and she said I need to decide wich one I want but I didn't know which one was good but now I think this is a really good one
Super Review of the Huion Canvas 16" . Just got One and Love Drawing on the Tablet Monitor . ---> One Thing to keep in Mind about 1080p Drawing Displays : The Saved Artwork will will be Crafted to look Good on Smartphones and Many Devices .
hello, I always watch your videos !! they are great. -I have a doubt, because the price of that "pen display" is already very similar to an IpadPro 12.9 (in my country). What is better? At the level of sensitivity in the pen, precision, smoothness, is it worth having a pen display? (without considering the portable).
My general advice is to look at the software you want to use, then decide what to get. Pen display is for those who want to use desktop software. If you don't need to use desktop software, I probably recommend the iPad Pro/iPad Air because there's no advantage to getting a pen display
Is there even really a difference? Most professional art and animation are in 1080p. What does 4k bring to the table that makes it worth over double the price?
@@PlazDreamweaver I never said I needed 4k, QHD is 1440p. It really depends on what kind of work you do, but there are two distinct advantages for QHD and higher for my type of line art focused work. 1. 1080p is high res, but slightly blurry when it comes to fine details. Higher resolution feels so much closer to the clarity of real ink. 2. You can zoom out further on your image without losing clarity. Being able to work in full view of a print sized image is very helpful for seeing the full scope of the image. I'd gladly pay more for just 1440p as I feel like the clarity is fine at that spot personally, but for some reason, these Wacom alternatives do not like putting that resolution on their 16 inch tablets.
@@DaneMurdock Thanks for answering those questions. I have a few more though; At what size would you say makes the most difference? I put fine details in my character art, but $900 is a lot for just 4k. Is the detail difference truly worth the price ($400 and $900 for what I'm looking at right now)? What type (landscape, architecture, character, abstract, etc.) of drawing does it make the most difference in?
Hi there, really like your detailed reviews so thank you for that. I was wondering how you think this compares to the previously released kamvas pro 16? Have Huion improved the drawing experience?
XP-Pen Innovator 16 and this Huion are quite evenly matched in terms of functionality and drawing performance. It's difficult to choose. I don't think you can go wrong with either. The scroll wheel on the XP-Pen is very useful for changing brush size, and XP-Pen has 18-months warranty. Huion has slightly better cursor tracking at extreme edges.
I purchased the Kamvas 16 (2021) and I've had it for about two weeks and I love it! What ultimately made me decide the Huion was the better initial activation force, as I'm a light drawer and I heard that the Innovator takes a bit more force before you can draw a thin line. It's also economically a better choice as it's about 100 bucks cheaper. The Huion fits my workflow better as I don't really care about the Innovator's dial and 10 Express keys is plenty for me. If a slightly larger color range is more desirable for you, you should go with the Innovator, otherwise the Kamvas is one I can definitely recommend.
@@MilkPlus1962 They have rather similar brightness. Innovator 16 has slightly better colours. But otherwise, both pen displays are very comparable in terms of specs and performance.
Perfect review! As always! May i ask if there is a big difference between matt film and etched glass like on 16 pro? I can't decide which one to choose so it will stay safe for longer time (since i am really afraid to damage it by hard pressing or scratching) Is it better to pick 16 pro or 16 (2021)?
Matte glass vs matte screen protector. That's really a personal preference. Personally I'm not too fussy. I've tablets with plenty of scratches and I still use them. The matte screen protector may get some scratches with usage. But the matte screen protector can be replace if you want to.
Had a good laugh when at the 8 minute mark the menu pops up and it appears to be the same menu on my Prechen USB C powered monitor. I feel like that's a good sign since I've been pretty happy with it.
The pen is not there yet. I had a cintiq pro 16, and this huion, in terms of display, it is very close. But in terms of pen, wacom still king. Huion keep improving 🙏
Always great review videos. Question: Can this Huion be used as a second display using Sidecar for Mac or without? I have a laptop and don't want to have to buy two displays.
Hello teoh, happy new year. A question, at minute 7:45 the power button starts flashing. For what is this? I just ordered it on amazon. thanks to this review and your review in parablogs. It will be my first display tablet. You do a good job on your channel teoh. a greeting
I'm stuck between getting this upgraded 16 and getting the Kamvas Pro 16 as my first display tablet (I have an ancient Wacom Intuos 3 [she's still kicking!] and a Huion New 1060Plus.) To my understanding, the the 2021 16 has the new pen tech, while the Pro 16 doesn't. In your opinion, is the newer pen tech worth the increase in price?
I am deliberating on the same choices...did you get an answer to your question elsewhere or decide yet on which one to buy - I saw you asked this question 5 months ago? Since then in April 2021 the Huion 16 4k was released at $829. I'm a amateur artist that never has owned a pen display but like the idea of getting the best...but do realize having a 4K means while a nice luxury it might be laggy and underutilized power if the laptop doesn't put out 4K @60fps but instead at @30fps. Plus deliberation between 2021 16 vs 2019 16 Pro is I can get 2019 16 Pro on Amazon and use an existing $200 Amazon Credit but not have a way to add a warranty...vs get the 2021 16 (Non-Pro) & v3 pen for the same price on HUION website and pay extra to get a 1yr warranty but not be able to do it with my $200 Amazon credit. That 4K is looking really sweet and would be future proof..just w/o a waranty option but then again...all Huion website offers is a 1yr waranty anyway.
@@WebDesignMX05 I couldn't decide and ultimately decided to put off upgrading for the time being. While it would be nice to try out a display tablet, my 1060plus is working just fine right now (and many professional artists don't use display tablets and manage to put out amazing work, it's definitely up to personal preference!) The 4k is indeed a nice luxury, but you will definitely need a machine capable of handling it and there's debate over whether or not the 4k is worth it (artists have been putting out amazing work without it, after all.) FWIW I've heard horror stories of buying from the Huion website; most people suggest buying from Amazon for the better customer support. I don't believe the 4k models are on their Amazon page, though.
@@batty_cats HUION 16 (2021) didn't disappoint me although it's not perfect (took some time to configure the presets to the desired shortcuts). I bought directly from HUION with no issues and used some of that Amazon credit to buy a nice cushy protective case as well as an easel tripod stand. One thing I wish was that the USB-C to USB-C PD Fast charging Cable (100W/20V/5A) that originally shipped with the unit was longer. I checked their site and now it appears HUION is now selling a 2m (6.6ft) USB-C to USB-C PD Fast charging Cable (100W/20V/5A) so I will be buying one.
You should also show their pen paper experience in writing notes and compare the speed of trace with real world pen. This also shows pen follow up speed.
That's a Parblo PR100 stand. I prefer this Huion over the Veikk because that particular pen display has noticeable ghosting as response time is not fast enough. www.parkablogs.com/content/review-parblo-pr100-tablet-stand
@@teohyc thank you so much for your reply, I have another question though, I'm looking at the XP PEN Artist 16 2nd gen and I do like the aesthetics of it, so compared to the Huion which is a better choice?
Thanks for a great review! Is it possible to turn off a little circle that follows the tip of the pen while drawing? 13:42 It feels unnatural to me and really annoying😖
I've heard some review about the tablet being a 15 inch display with FHD (1920×1080px) resolution is not enough resolution, Im afraid the screen quality is going to be compromised, can you see the individual pixels when drawing or is it just barely noticeable?
Kamvas 16 (2021) since that's the newer model. The difference between the pro and non-pro is not significant. Usually, it's either matte glass vs matte screen protector. Or it's whether there are any physical shortcut buttons.
I previously had the Kamvas 12 2020 and purchased the C to C cord for Android use on my Samsung note 10+. I experienced exactly what you described connecting this to my phone. There was an electric buzz and my phone indicated that it had gotten wet and would not charge or connect to the device. As a result, I returned the 40.00 cord and the Kamvas 12 2020. I also agree this is too small to comfortably work on. It is important to note also that Kamvas requires a proprietary USB C cord due to the depth of the cavity that you connect it into the tablet, so it is not an option to simply buy a third party cable. I find this really concerning especially since the phone logs these error messages and now thinks that it has been submerged in water and has not.
Hi there! Which one do you recommended? Huion Kamvas 16 PRO or Huion Kamvas 16 2021? or the Wacom One? 😅 I'm planning to buy my very first pen display 😄
Currently Huion probably provide more value for your money compared to Wacom. I recommend Kamvas 16 2021 over Kamvas 16 Pro which is kinda an older pen display now. I prefer the design of Kamvas 16 2021. But if you ask this question some other day, I may have a different answer. lol
Do you think this is a good option as a first pen display? I am a beginner and I want to get into digital art. The price is what appeals to me the most but I can considere other options as well.
hello, I watched every your videos, but still I couldn't decided huion or xp-pen😅.. I like both🙌.. which one do you recommend me? 🙏 I want to buy approx 16inch.
Love your review, very detailed and informative. One question I do have is: Can I hook it up to a normal computer monitor and work off the computer monitor screen instead of the Huion screen?
Hey..ty always for youre good product reviews...im thinking of buying me a pen display... i think the huions are good stuff...but idk which size to buy..would you recomend the 13,3 or the 15.6 Inch...which drawing app would you recomend, maybe not as expensive as photoshop?
Hey teoh, I have watched many of your amazing videos of watercolor brushes but I’m still a bit not to sure on which ones to get.I am a semi beginner o have painted in watercolor for about a month now and I have been using a really bad brush so I am thinking of upgrading. From my understanding I think I should get a sable brush like the escoda reserva or a big synthetic brush like one of the perla sets. From your point of view do you think it would be reasonable for me to get just one escoda brush like a reserva size 8?It would really help if you responded and helped me out here
It's better to get two brushes. One small and one big. Small one (size 4 maybe) for painting details. Big one (size 8) for painting large areas. If you only want to buy one, size 6 is good for A5-A4 size paintings. Small ones I recommend are Silver Black Velvet (sharper point), or Da Vinci Casaneo. Big one I recommend Da Vinci Casaneo. Sable brush will be better of course but my recommendation is based on value for money.
Still wondering which is better for 3D work like zbrush, XP pen or wacom. My problem is i don’t have a lot of money and it can‘t be that wacom is the only component for productivity.
Hello Teoh! Thanks for your review of this model and I have just got it today. ( But I have an "No Signal" issue when plug it with 3-in-1 cable to a monitor's port which has hdmi port ... ) As a result, it only works as a pen tablet not a pen display. May I know how to connect to a PC with this Kamvas 16? The HDMI port of PC's graphic card is already occupied by the HDMI cable to a monitor. Should I use a HDMI switches to get both tablet and monitor display simultaneously? Any suggestion? Thanks in advanced.
You need to connect HDMI + Black USB (for pen usage) to your computer. Not sure if a HDMI switch/splitter will work with the Huion though. I've not tried that. If your computer has USB-C, you can use the USB-C to USB-C cable instead.
@@teohyc Here, my feedback: ① a 2-in-1 hdmi switches, it works. A display and a pen display use switches sharing 1 HDMI cable to computer, On and Off the switches is not an good option. ② a usb-C to usb-C method, not workable for PC. ③ Using Huion 3-cable, the HDMI cable plugged with DVI adapter, works fine. HDMI to DP adapter, not workable. But then, it appears to the display resolution ratio issue for multiple displays setting. Kamvas drawing mode cannot perform on "Extend these display" setting. Now I have to do all drawing stuffs on "Duplicate these displays" setting temporary until next graphic card upgrading. What to do. (Lmao)
Hi! thank you so much for the review!! i hope i đint bother you to ask between this one, Huion Kamvas 16 and XP-Pen Artist Pro 16, how you would compare? Like if the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 is much better or just a little bit better? thank you so much again!
The only thing I don't quite like about the XP Pen Artist Pro 16 is how the cable sticks out. But other than that the XP Pen and Huion are very comparable in terms of drawing performance.
Very in-depth review as always. But, there was no clarity on usb-c to usb-c connection. I have a laptop with usb-c(thunderbolt 3), will it work with single cable when connected to my laptop via thunderbolt or will it require external power?
17:20 when you “grab” the drawing are you clicking the sides of the pen ?? I got frustrated yesterday because I had to recalibrate my pen every 5 min. I unclick the “grab” tool but it continues to “grab” and will not allow me to draw..
Thank u for the splendid review, I’ve been eyeing this tablet for awhile. Teoh, between this and the xp pen artist 15.6 pro, which one would u recommend?
@@teohyc sorry, I want to ask as well, what about xp pen 15.6 pro and huion kamvas 16 pro? Which one would u recommend? I've been thinking about this for more than 3 months because I still don't know what to choose XD
i really like your review! i heard that huion kamvas 16 can be used in pen tablet mode (with the monitor off). should we keep the hdmi cable attached? since my laptop only has 1 hdmi port
Oh hey. Have you had any problems with the colours shown on that screen later? I've seen some cases in the earlier model where the screen progressively tints the colours with a magenta tone over time.
I don't have the unit to test anymore. But if the screen starts to have a magenta cast, it sounds like it's defective and is a hardware issue that should be covered under warranty
I think this brand of this drawing tablet give the lowset latency of the pen. Right? I saw other video too reviewing about this. I can see there is no gap between the line scratch and the pen nib. I need a performance like that.
It should have the same cable. Just make sure the cable head is of the same size because the port on the Huion is quite small. To be safe, ask Huion if they sell longer USB-C cable specific for this unit.
Get the newer model. It's between Kamvas 16 (2021) vs XP Pen Artist Pro 16. You can compare the list of pros and cons to decide. www.parkablogs.com/tags/pen-display
Well I got mine, 16 inches is ideal for me. Mr. Teoh, is the matte texture on this 16 softer than the 13? I'm curious, because it doesn't give me the feeling that this 16-year-old has roughness, really. By the way, the matte sheet has not stuck to the top one, I have been able to remove the glossy one without problems. The tablet works like a charm. No problem at all. It is more for the moment I have not configured brightness or pressure, as it comes at the moment I already like that.
Please tell me, X-pen artist pro 16 2021 or huion kamvas 16 2021? So that you choose, what are the differences from these devices, if they are almost similar? Could you do a review on these two devices in comparison? I think subscribers of your channel and not only will get this category. Since no one will have such a comparison
Hello Teoh, thank you for ur nice reviews! I find it really hard to decide between Artisul D16 Pro and this one...because they are same price range I like the wheel from the Artisul Tablett, but should't be the reason for buying it... is there any significant difference that u can tell? Wich one do you like better? It would really help me, thank you! :-)
Hello! I have a question! First of all, great review. One of the best I've seen so far, because it's so amazingly detailed. But I have a question concerning the matt screen. Atm I have a non-display tablet and can't color right, because my laptop screen (which is also matt) dulls the colors and just makes it almost impossible to produce anything in color without it looking horrible. Is this also the case with the huion 16? It has a matt screen, so does it also have dulled and wrong colors or does it look like a e.o. mobile phone screen?
The colours look quite vibrant to me. Note that mobile phones are calibrated to make colours look more vibrant, and glossy displays will make colours look more vibrant too. Another thing to note is after you complete your art and save as jpg to share online, you have to export the web colour profile so that your art will look the same on other people's phones/displays. But even so sometimes it's difficult to reproduce your art's colours accurately on the web. Anyway, those are minor issues. Bottom line is the colours look good on this Huion pen display.
Thank you SO SO MUCH for that Zoom when you were drawing. It's one thing to hear someone say "yeah this tablet draws very well" to actually seeing how it reacts. That is everything I've ever wanted. You sir got yourself a follow. Thank you!

there is a kamvas 16 model that is sold in china that supports touch (it's gt-156 in mainland.). it also comes with all in one usb-c cable that suppplies power, display and controls.
thank you for this fine review
thank you so much because my birthday is in some days and my mom wants to get me one for my birthday and she said I need to decide wich one I want but I didn't know which one was good but now I think this is a really good one

Super Review of the Huion Canvas 16" .
Just got One and Love Drawing on the Tablet Monitor .
---> One Thing to keep in Mind about 1080p Drawing Displays :
The Saved Artwork will will be Crafted to look Good on Smartphones and Many Devices .
hello, I always watch your videos !! they are great.
I prefer IPad Pro as well 100% over all these graphic tablets, just that I use photoshop and I'm not sure if all the photoshop features are there
I just want Huion to make a 16 inch display with QHD resolution. Every time I see a new product at 1080p, it makes me sad.
It will be pricey!
It just came out lol
This is my dream tab
But I'm a bit too broke to get this anytime soon
Hi there, really like your detailed reviews so thank you for that. I was wondering how you think this compares to the previously released kamvas pro 16? Have Huion improved the drawing experience?
This has slightly better cursor tracking accuracy at extreme edges, and the pen tip is firm and less wobbly. Those are the noticeable upgrades.
Whoa, finally you reviewed the 2021 version! Thank you so much! Comparing this one to xp pen innovator 16, in your opinion, which one is better?
@@teohyc Hi, Teoh. I’m a bit particular about having high brightness. Which of the two has that advantage? The Innovator 16 or 2021 Kamvas 16 Pro?
@@MilkPlus1962 They have rather similar brightness. Innovator 16 has slightly better colours. But otherwise, both pen displays are very comparable in terms of specs and performance.
If you are still interested, the Innovator 16 has a manufacturing defect and your tablet will have issues with the screen in about half a year of use.
@@teohyc thank you a lot!
Well your device costs 1300 and this 400
hi can you make a comparison of the huion kanvas 16 (2021) and the old huion kanvas pro 16 premium, please
I want buy this I hope it will be the thing that I really need
Hi! I love your reviews. I've decided to buy this drawing display but I have a question, is integrated gpu enough to use this display?
Should be no problem since it's just 1080P resolution which isn't taxing for any processor or graphics card.
thank you bro i need this
How about Huion Kamvas 2021 vs Huion Kamvas Pro 2020 ?
I have the same question
I'm curious about this as well
Always great review videos. Question: Can this Huion be used as a second display using Sidecar for Mac or without? I have a laptop and don't want to have to buy two displays.
I like how you said one male and one female of the cable, it's hilarious
so drawing tablets series we can not see on the tablet right? only for Kamvas series?
Yeah, it's the Kamvas series that have the displays/screen
Hello teoh, happy new year. A question, at minute 7:45 the power button starts flashing. For what is this? I just ordered it on amazon. thanks to this review and your review in parablogs. It will be my first display tablet. You do a good job on your channel teoh. a greeting
The light will flash green for few seconds when and after using the OSD
Thank you for this helpful video
Great review! I have 2 questions, what's the stand that you used and is this a better choice than the Veikk VK 2200 Pro?
That's a Parblo PR100 stand. I prefer this Huion over the Veikk because that particular pen display has noticeable ghosting as response time is not fast enough.
www.parkablogs.com/content/review-parblo-pr100-tablet-stand
@@teohyc thank you so much for your reply, I have another question though, I'm looking at the XP PEN Artist 16 2nd gen and I do like the aesthetics of it, so compared to the Huion which is a better choice?
@@naruuwo The Huion has slightly better drawing performance

Thanks a lot for this review! Would you recommend this display or the Wacom one as an entry level tablet for a beginner digital artist?
It’s as good as Wacom. So it comes down to price
your voice is very soothing. oh vavy
Thanks for a great review! Is it possible to turn off a little circle that follows the tip of the pen while drawing? 13:42 It feels unnatural to me and really annoying😖
Some apps will allow you to turn off the cursor, or change the cursor shape.
I've heard some review about the tablet being a 15 inch display with FHD (1920×1080px) resolution is not enough resolution, Im afraid the screen quality is going to be compromised, can you see the individual pixels when drawing or is it just barely noticeable?
Pixelation is noticeable but 1080P is still very usable.
I see, thankyou very much
What is better 16 pro or 16 (2021) ? and why? I don't see almost any difference... may be only in pen. (?) Please advise.
AMAZING review...only problem now is deciding whether to get the 16 or 13 inch. Is the 13inch too small?
You can cut a piece of A4 paper down to the actual size and see it for yourself. 13 is okay size
@@teohyc thanks a lot... I think i will do that
Thanks for this review. Will you say this is the best 16 inch that is not a wacom that you have reviewed so far? especially the drawing experience?
This one and the XP-Pen Innovator 16 are good
Not exactly sure of your question. But this is a monitor so it needs to connect to a computer. You can’t connect another monitor directly to this
@@teohyc Okay that answered my question perfectly, thank you!
Wonder when there will be 16 pro (2021) with antiglare glass
Hey..ty always for youre good product reviews...im thinking of buying me a pen display... i think the huions are good stuff...but idk which size to buy..would you recomend the 13,3 or the 15.6 Inch...which drawing app would you recomend, maybe not as expensive as photoshop?
For free drawing apps, try Medibang Paint Pro, Krita, or Clip Studio Paint (subscription but much cheaper than Adobe).
Ok thank-you very much this will defiantly help me

Still wondering which is better for 3D work like zbrush, XP pen or wacom. My problem is i don’t have a lot of money and it can‘t be that wacom is the only component for productivity.
Hello Teoh!
Thanks for your review of this model and I have just got it today.
( But I have an "No Signal" issue when plug it with 3-in-1 cable to a monitor's port which has hdmi port ... ) As a result, it only works as a pen tablet not a
pen display.
@@teohyc I will try to use either switches or HDMI-to- DP/ DVI adapter to solve the issue. And sharing the result here.
Thanks!
@@teohyc
Here, my feedback:
① a 2-in-1 hdmi switches, it works.
What to do. (Lmao)
Why did they remove the touchbar from the 2018 version. Is the button better and which one is better overall?
Which do you think Is better? Huion kamvas pro 16 or kamvas 16 (newer model)
Hi! thank you so much for the review!! i hope i đint bother you to ask between this one, Huion Kamvas 16 and XP-Pen Artist Pro 16, how you would compare? Like if the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 is much better or just a little bit better? thank you so much again!
The only thing I don't quite like about the XP Pen Artist Pro 16 is how the cable sticks out. But other than that the XP Pen and Huion are very comparable in terms of drawing performance.
@@teohyc thank you!!! ^^ you are the best reviewer!!
1st comment/ also I already know this will be a great review!
Very in-depth review as always. But, there was no clarity on usb-c to usb-c connection. I have a laptop with usb-c(thunderbolt 3), will it work with single cable when connected to my laptop via thunderbolt or will it require external power?
Have you tried asking on reddit or perhaps contacting huion support?
17:20 when you “grab” the drawing are you clicking the sides of the pen ?? I got frustrated yesterday because I had to recalibrate my pen every 5 min. I unclick the “grab” tool but it continues to “grab” and will not allow me to draw..
Try with other drawing and note taking apps to see if it's a problem with the software or hardware.

I've not tried that functionality before. But since the screen is off, you can probably unplug the HDMI from your computer.
@@teohyc thank you for responding 😄 ♥️
I think this brand of this drawing tablet give the lowset latency of the pen. Right?
I saw other video too reviewing about this.
I can see there is no gap between the line scratch and the pen nib.
I need a performance like that.
You're the best! Could you please tell me if I can use 2-3m long cables with Huion and still have excellent performance and no input lag?
It should have the same cable. Just make sure the cable head is of the same size because the port on the Huion is quite small. To be safe, ask Huion if they sell longer USB-C cable specific for this unit.
Good review, but I have a question.
My computer doesn't have an extra hdmi, would an hdmi to display port work?
It should also work with an video adapter
What's the difference between Kamvas 16 (2021) and Kamvas 16 pro? And what's better to buy these days?

@@teohyc Thx.
I noticed when you made dots quickly it did not register. That’s a problem when people use dots to shade.
Dots may or may not appear depending on Windows ink. But generally speaking I have no problems creating dots.
The matte screen protector here is smoother. Anyway, rougher screen protector will also become smoother with usage.
What size of scaling settings windows ? When i use Second screen only, it changes to 150 recommended. But in 100 is very bad Resolution 😢
Thanks for the review. How does it compare to a Cintiq 16?
Very comparable in terms of drawing performance
Hello Teoh, thank you for ur nice reviews! I find it really hard to decide between Artisul D16 Pro and this one...because they are same price range I like the wheel from the Artisul Tablett, but should't be the reason for buying it... is there any significant difference that u can tell? Wich one do you like better? It would really help me, thank you! :-)
I am working with an Mac by the way!
Hey, how do you manage both drawing and moving the page? Thanks for the video !
You can move the canvas by holding the Spacebar
