Saving Howler Monkeys Together Update: Release Day!

🌳 Kaleo, Malik, Kokoa, Luca, Nati, Lorenzo, and Loki are offically #backinthetrees!
🤎 These seven howler monkeys are the first to be released in Toucan Rescue Ranch’s new program, Saving Howlers Monkeys Together! This nationwide project provides successful rewilding for orphaned, rescued, and rehabilitated howler monkeys in Costa Rica.
🍌 Beginning in 2023, Saving Howler Monkeys Together is a crucial initiative that receives injured monkeys and orphans too young to survive in the wild. While we have been caring for rescued monkeys for years, the program was launched to enhance our release capabilities, particularly for rescued baby monkeys.
