Roja, Bombay and RHTDM ( hindi remake of the original ) are all music originally from the south ( Tamil ).
Even Roja, also Bollywood is urdu industry not hindi
For Lakshya the Hrithik movie, a major part of it is set in some of the highest parts of Himalayan mountain ranges which are covered with snow. So you are right about natural elements. It's snow and cold ❄️

The plot, songs and the acting of Roja movie is on another level. This movie was broadcasted every year on Indian independence day and people used to make free time no matter how busy they were just to watch this movie.

Dev D is actually like a fucked-up, twisted, modern and grungy version of devdas. It follows the same themes but in a non-traditional setting. One of Anurag Kashyap's best!
Efra's Interpretation for Lakshya's BGM & Wales's Interpretation for Black's BGM are just on point!
When you said purpose for lakshya...that was spot on.... I have recently seen interviews where the director of that movie farhan aktar saying actual soldiers said to him that this movie inspired them, gave them purpose when they watched it as youth.
Black is such an amazing movie but yeah a lot to cry on. It’s the story of Helen keller, who fought her disabilities and succeeded in life. Such an inspiration. Rani Mukherjee and Amitabh Bachchan - the level of acting , no words to say 👌🏽

Dev.D (the last soundtrack) is actually a modern adaptation of Devdas. While Devdas(2002) is a tragedy, Dev.D is a dark comedy.
Both Devdas(2002) & Dev.D(2009) r adapted from the popular Bengali novel Devdas by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Theres like 20 movies based on this book.

the last one dev d is the modern version of the srk's devdas. The original movie was directed by sanjay leela bansali and the second one by anurag kashyap who is a bit more like desi and more griddy version of quientin tarantino . who should check out some of his movies like gangs of wassepur part 1 and 2.
Black is one of my favorite amitabh bachchan movie, nice storytelling and direction❤❤

I think when it comes to Bollywood, the meaning and hence the appreciation for the soundtracks increases tenfolds when you watch the movie or at least the music video. Once a music director said about one of his songs that it was not well received before but when the music video came out, everyone started loving the song. Although I don't remember any other case where the song and the music video were released separately

If you're doing Hrithik I really wish it's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara because it's amazing and fun. He has many other great movies but that would be my pick.

Bombay, Roja are Tamil movies (Kollywood). It was also released in Hindi language(Bollywood).
You have never reacted to Amitabh bachan (Big B) superstar of the millennium.. He is still idol for many current actors and yes he has sung many songs as well
LAGAAN has such a beautiful soundtrack....the whole album is soooooo awesome and fits the aesthetic of the movie so well. I feel that is one of AR RAHMAN's best qualities. The way his soundtracks so perfectly fit the aura of the films and sticks to the story in such a wonderful way. Whether it be the royalty and elegance of Jodhaa Akbar and PS1, PS2, or the coziness of Delhi 6, Guru or the intensity of Rockstar, Lagaan and Rang De Basanti - he kills it with the vibe always.
you guys need to react to the tera noor video from tiger zinda hai!! it's actually a great song and an iconic scene that set the tone for action (especially female led action) in indian cinema!! don't judge the soundtrack from this video! katrina kaif is also considered one of the best action stars in indian cinema.
Roja and bombay are tamil movies not bollywood movies.
Yes efra lakshya is a family romance drama with spiritual touch and superstitions and roza is like waltzing, emraan hashmi type 👍😌🙃

Love this! but if you guys want to react to some great unforgettable albums of movies, you mist visit - Taal and Tere naam(2 diametrically opposite movies but with extraordinary albums! Taal is of course of ARR and Tere naam was of Himesh Reshammiya's he was a newcomer, but gave some tremendous songs from tere naam)
Yes I'm glad you'll watch ROCKSTAR. It's all about the music and romance, that film. You guys have to watch it. And also, another request: please start doing FULL SONG reactions again please. Especially Atif aslam's Jalpari video (Come Studio) and Faasle (Kaavish and Quratulain). Also other songs by Kaavish. I miss watching you guys react to complete songs.

Oh.... Watch ROJA since it appears that you guys haven't. It's a love story and there's militancy (in Kashmir which is the Northern most part of the Indian territory) but it remains a bone of contention between the neighbouring nation and the Indian subcontinent and this movie has a GORGEOUS tracklist and soundtrack. Do watch in the original Tamil and NOT Hindi dubbed as it hasn't been done that well.
BLACK is also beautiful. It's kinda based on Helen Keller's life. The acting by the main leads - Rani and Amitabh is just *chef's kiss*. For SLB (Bhansali) you MUST watch his Devdas (Think you guys have already, haven't you?)
BOMBAY - the songs and the soundtrack is brilliant!!!! The movie is rather problematic with how Shahrukh is pretty problematic in chasing the lovely Manisha, but story and the setting is great.
DEVD is the modern interpretation of Devdas and done brillitantly!!!!
Dev d is a classic in every sense total perfection
The number one BGM of all time of any bollywood movie is Sholay created by Legendary RD Burman, the all time best music director this country ever produced
