I had the 12" vinyl of this when it came out. I also had a very discourteous downstairs neighbor who liked to play his music too loud. I put this on the turntable, placed the speakers face down on the floor, and set volume to Max. Funny, I never heard another peep out of him.

I am sure Sex Pistols would have disowned them - but it also has indications of pressure on them by an established label they chose to work with - CBS.

back in the 70s there was a big mash up of reggae and punk bands but not like this the clash stood head and shoulders above the rest
