    Thank you so much man, you're a legend like that other guy said. I couldn't find anybody else showing how to replace the upstream sensor. Now I can replace both.

    can you share the type of socket that you used, I tried with the ones that amazon has but it wont fit the cover that the sensor has.

    What type of socket did you use? I can’t seem to find something that fits.

      You have to buy a THIN WALL O2 SOCKET to fit the o2 sonsor, the regular socket dont fit. I showed the socket that im using in the video.

    Hm I have an issue where the 01 bank1 sensor was replaced and the computer isn't reading that it's been repaired and still have my P0031 code popping up. It works perfectly fine and isn't a defect at all.

      Use original o2 and clear code after you replaced it. If still comes back then you having electrical wires issue between o2 and the computer receiving feedback signal. Could be bad wires between computer to o2 or could be bad computer if its not reading right.

    Would this also work for an 08 Matrix?

      If you have the same code, yes.

    Can I get a link to the socket you used to put the sensor back on. Because the one I have is too thick for the denso sensor

      I use snap on o2 socket, $70. Go an amazon search for thin wall o2 socket is cheaper.

      I have code p0138 which is downstream sensor, I put in a new one and code came back the next day do you think it may be the upstream?

    • @Ah_Duuu_Ma
      @Ah_Duuu_Ma  Год назад

      @@Omar-kg2dp P0138 is bank 1 sensor 2, that's is the downstream o2 after the cat.

    I had the same fault and the sensor was replaced, and I clear the code but I still having the engine light due to the same reason

      Use oem sensor, some aftermarket brand sensor could be defected, check the connector and wires make sure its not broken or damaged. If everything is good and code still on, you could be having electrical problem or ecm is reading wrong feedback signal.
