I’m glad you guys finally posted a video. 24 days ? Taking a vacation from your Hourless Life lol. Thanks for sharing about the overlanding possibilities in Costa Rica. It’s one of the things on my bucket list.

Appreciate your patience Art! You know from our behind the scenes Patreon why we’ve shifted our publishing schedule. Got to keep it Hourless. You should do it! You should fly down here and take a week long excursion and fill that bucket list of yours. ~ Eric

Awesome! Costa Rica is on my bucket list and I never even thought of Overlanding there. PS. Super cool raising your kiddo this way. I spent six year ages 6-12 in Swaziland (eSwatini) Africa and I transformed my life and my outlook on the world. God bless and safe journey!

Wow Brett! What an upbringing. Would love to sit by a campfire with you and hear your stories about it. Overlanding in Costa Rica is REALLY easy to do, and you should totally make it happen. I think you'd be thrilled with the experience. God bless. ~ Eric

Great info about overlanding in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 Our family rented from Nomad America. We were all happy with the setup - only 5 mins and all the equipment you could need. Very well thought out!

Really good to know. I had no idea that you rented through them. Glad to hear that your experience went well. ~ Eric

Thanks for tuning in! It has gotten more challenging to find internet good enough for our videos as regularly as we did before. But glad you watched this one. Costa Rica is amazing. We actually just released our second Costa Rica video today. It is on the cloud forest! ~ Eric

Hey Wise. Good to see you. Yeah, the last thing on my mind was breaking out a video camera. But it was nuts! ~ Eric

@@HourlessLife ya I can’t imagine. You guys have a dash cam? I’m sure you will see lots of crazy stuff on this adventure and it might be worth getting one?

Eric sipped at his Scotch as the words flowed across the laptop screen. He was in the Groove both mentally and physically as he wrote his book stopping only for a puff on his pipe and to breath in the Costa Rican air.....

What was your fuel cost like? Good to see fellow Texans traveling south.

Hi Joe, gas was 993 colones/liter in July, or $5.62/gallon. We spent less than $300 by moving less frequently and covering relatively short distances when we did move. That's the nice thing about full-time overland travel: most of your budget line items are flexible (fuel, camping, food). By the way, we publish a complete expense report on our blog every month, which is available to our Navigator tier (www.patreon.com/hourlesslife/membership). -B

Hurricane season hasn’t even started yet. Tropical Storm Bonnie was an anomaly. Here in Costa Rica it is usually October through Mid-November. ~ Eric
