Hiya, I'm someone with no need for a car at the moment, but my parents (~500km away from me) drive a VW T5 Transporter (~2004) and I think you would/could shed a tear if you were to see the state it is in (big dog who governs over the middle bench completely, used for firewood transportation a few times a year). At least it doesn't have any carpets (small mercies). I can't wait to be back and tackle the filthy car. A small running list (magic erasers, detail brushes etc.) is being written thanks to your lovely videos.
I live on the busiest corner in my neighborhood and i wash my car just like you and I love when my daughter would tell people that say "i saw your dads car" she would ask "was it clean?" if they said "no" she would say "it wasn't him then". 😀
This guy's videos are therapeutic! I really feel relaxed when watching him taking care of cars. Btw nice car and can't wait to see it having a campound, polish and why not a ceramic coat or wax!
i have a 10 y/o pearl black volvo V50, and all things considered, the quality and condition of the paint is amazing for it’s age - my neighbours frequently comment about how good it looks. your new whip is absolutely gorgeous and the polestar blue is outstanding. congrats on 100k - your presenting style, attention to detail and expertise is a real pleasure/relaxing to watch, and i’m no detailing fanatic! all the best.
5:43 the first ever time I have heard guru say ‘urm’. Nothing bad just thought I’d point it out and applaud you for the perfect voice overs you produce! Keep it up love the videos!!!
The blue is perfect. Seems to have some parts in common with a Ford Focus though. An interior detail video of this car would be nice and maybe a how-to about getting a car as clean as possible in 10 Minutes without inflicting damage (not everyone has the time or is allowed to wash their car at home).
Yes, its the C1 chassis used in a large range of Ford, Mazda and Volvo vehicles, and you'll find a lot of switch gear etc shared between various models from the 3 manufacturers too. It's a really good platform because of the amount of money the 3 invested in developing it though, so it's all good.
I watched this vid when u first posted it, and honestly I still think this is the best looking guru mobile - hope it went to a good home. More than 325k subs now, shows just how good this channel is!
Nice car! I bought a bright red used car recently, and also did a citrus AP cleaner single bucket wash with iron remover and clay before wet sanding and touching up some areas, doing a full compound, polish, glaze, and paint sealant, glass treatment. You're not alone in that process of getting a used car and spending hours getting up to standard! Also did a full service of all fluids, filters and brake pads the next weekend!
Quite the opposite for me. Outside is what I see twice when I drive the car; once walking up to it, and once walking away. But I spend all my time in the interior, so I try to keep it clean and tidy.
computiNATEor That is acually d*mned right thinking!! But its more fun to clean the outside, coz it pays of more easily. Thats why i stay cleaning only the exterior. However when buying a new car, interior is extremely important to me as well. Because just like you say, were spending most of our time INSIDE the car not outside of it.
My god it is quiet and peaceful where this guy lives. Hearing the birds chirping, that water fountain running, and some satisfying cleaning almost puts me to sleep.
Hey, congratulations on 100k subs and on the new motor. Also many thanks for generously sharing your expertise with those of us out here that are new to the detailing dark side. I ordered my new Porsche 718 Cayman back in may and then went into panic mode about how i was going to care for it, soon discovered your channel and preceded to spend many an evening watching and learning from your "no nonsense" tutorials. I now have a whole armory of products that i never new existed, a new car that i took delivery of last Friday and a new passion for detailing and maintaining my pride and joy. Much respect to you, you deserve all the good things that come your way. Peace!
Hi,firstly well done on your 100k subscribers, hopefully you should have a silver play button plaque, its a nice looking car that Volvo the blue brings it out with wheels as well, for the year and the mileage you can't moan LOL, with its polish it look more enhanced.your're videos are awesome.
Welcome back and thanks for the work! Definitely can't wait for the tire off cleaning, engine bay cleaning, paint correction videos that are all ahead. Cheers!
Wow, someone threw quite a bit of money at that C30! I'd dump that awful hot air intake though, nothing more randomizing on a turbo engine than an un-shielded pod filter right at the top of the engine bay.
+Matthew Sharpe I'm going to swap it for a matching thermally coated elevate intake but it does still sit in that area. There is some cold air being fed in from the grill area to be fair plus that's where the standard air box sits anyway.
Yes, it makes quite a big difference. An intercooler has a certain specific cooling capacity depending on its efficiency (which comes down to area and flow rate) - basically the hotter the intake charge going into the turbo charger, the hotter the air leaving the turbo charger & going into the intercooler will be, the intercooler can only do so much cooling based on its area and flow rate, so the hotter the air going into the manifold will be. Stuffing a pod filter on at the top of the engine bay where all the hot air is circulating will therefore maximize the possible intake temperature and maximize the air temperature exiting the intercooler - unfortunately most people have a preconceived idea that pod filters are good for performance so they just shove one on without understanding the consequences of biffing out the usually pretty decent factory intake system designed to deliver cool air from outside the engine bay - either that or they just like the extra induction noise.
What to say? RESPECT to you!!! I was fully into video, just enjoying watching it! After your videos, I started to wash my car properly following your basic rules. Greetings from Serbia!
Lovely to watch your masterly attention to detail, listen to your gentle explanation love the soft Liverpool accent. The car looks great the colour and those wheels work well together. Thanks for sharing
Not really a fan of fwd cars myself but I have to be honest, that's a cracking little motor you have there. I really like the blue with the black wheels, they compliment each other really well and after a clean it looks sharp.
That’s my favourite car, that’s what I’m getting for my first car soon. I’m so pleased for you, you deserve it. Especially with all the hard you put into it. Congrats on 100k and the C30.
I am glad I am not the only one wash behind the gas door but I would close it while power washing. The gas cap might be water tight enough to not allow water go go in the gas tank but the pressure of the power washer may break the door.
Saw one of these a few months back coming through Shrewsbury, damn was it impressive, same colour and a loud sounding exhaust. Good Choice. Great to see one of your videos again.
Found your channel looking for videos of C30s; love the car, enjoyed the voiceover and watching you work. It's rather therapeutic watching the procedural process and has inspired me to get back into cleaning my cars properly (the daily has been severely neglected).
Best looking of those I’ve ever seen. That remains the best color on any nice car. Absolutely incredible looking car. Great choice! Keep up the good work and the videos Guru!
This is the difference between cleaning your car Actually cleaning it. The attention to detail is awesome. And keep it blue. Looks awesome. Like a Swedish smurf!
Congratulations on 100k subscribers! I love watching your videos, and taking so many helpful tips and tricks from them to aid me in becoming a better detailer. I'm in the process of getting hired at a Subaru dealership near me as a detailer, after working at a used car lot for a few years. Maybe I can move my way up to working at a professional detail shop some time. Cheers, from Ohio.
Great videos, beautiful car and a new subscriber!I had a V50 T5 and that car had some modifications but had to sell it before my daughter was born. But now she's older I've bought a 5 year old Skoda superb L&K 280bhp which has really got me into learning the art of detailing and car maintenance. After investing in tools and products for the job I find it very rewarding, but as I'm new still have a way to go to learn and develop new ways and techniques I enjoy cleaning my girlfriend's and my car. Also watching guys like yourself who take real pride in what you do my evenings are crammed with watching these video's as it's strangely relaxing and therapeutic.Keep up the great content 👍🏻😉
Car looks awesome brother! Thanks for sharing the initial cleaning it's a treat and I always try to wash my detail my cars the way you do. I watch your videos for inspiration right before I head in to the garage. Lol.

Those tyres are the business. Loved them on my Audi. I want to put them on my Porsche but Yoko don't make them in 20 inches. I have emailed them begging to release them in 20 inch. They are so so so so good.
Well done Mr. Guru! You've worked hard for it so enjoy that beautiful Volvo now :) Looking forward to your future video's and a video with some 5-cylinder revving noise!
Love the new car.. As I'm old and crusty my first T5 was a 1995 850.. I know I'm old, Which I fitted with AP 4 pot Calipers and Avo bump and rebound coil overs with neg camber on the front.. Loved it .. Look forward to more of your upcoming posts.
Too blue, or not too blue, that is the question?!
How does this work with your insurance? Do you have a special policy or does it cost a fortune? Would love to know!
I personally like the black roof and spoiler, it brakes up the blues and compliments the design nicely.
nice 1 fella,,,,,,,, 100k...............bet you smoked a fatty
Love it! Can't go wrong with blue. It pops AF! It really suits the car with its wide stance, excellent job buddy! Can't wait for the second part :)
Do steam wash no water pressure
One of the most feel good things to watch on RUclips. Fantastic production and narrative. 100k says it all.
I totally agree and now more than doubled in subs :-)
It's not really yours until you wash it.
+jshdwhite79 Exactly!
...until you pay it in full, I would say
@@paulsimonsson nah
The bank only want your money... not the shitty car 🤣
Yes finally. Love watching your videos! Please post more often.
Legend has it he is still shampooing and washing his car up to this very day
I can't understand how I enjoy watching this type of videos. I just find them satisfying.
Wow! Thought I was an ace car cleaner. Learning so much from your videos. Your video production is second to none. Your comentry so professional.
I thought you missed a spot, but no, it was just a spot on my monitor :|
OMG i did that too!! hahaha

ikosimi simo seriously, his voice is so calm and soothing
Yeah it is!
This Volvo became an unicorn if you ask me, it's one of the best looking hatches from its days and that 5-banger just packs alot of punch. Love it.
Sweet Swedish whip mate 👌.....cant wait to see it polished and waxed
She is beautiful, the color, the stance, the wheels, the design.
Lovely looking motor 😎

You can never go wrong with a Volvo. Lovely motor. Keep up with the good work Guru. Love the videos. The Lean, Mean, Car Cleaning Machine. 😉
Jordan Owen until you blow a turbo....
Jordan Owen you can definitely go wrong with a volvo
Hannibal Smyth lol blowing turbos on these is very rare
It's a great car, I had one for 7 years putting over 125k miles on it!!! Now 'upgraded' to an XC60 :-)
By far the best narration of all the detailing videos on RUclips
You're the best Mr. Guru!😎🙏
Marko Horvat you should give the channel White Details a go. Another class detailer.
Steve C I'm subscribed to White Details channel also!
Yes, he is the best!!👏

me: 2 hours washing, 5 minutes interior because no one got time for that 😂
I spend as long as it takes until I satisfied

Awesome new ride Guru! Congrats. Can't wait to see her really shine!!!
Great video as always, and lovely car!
Congrats on 100k subscribers mate, i've been here since 10k. You are a proper Volvo owner now with this C30; it is a beatiful car. Volvo for life! 👍💪
Volvo, good taste in cars.
Very therapeutic watching that. Lovely colour and it looks great, love how the wheels fill the arches too

30 minutes of detailing enjoyment. Excellent video

Sounds like a good plan to me! Are you going to wind up the boost at some point?
+Matthew Sharpe I don't think so, I need to retain some practicality and saleability!
Makes no difference how hot the intake is. As it is all cooled via the intercooler anyway before being measured for O2 and fed into combustion.
Yes, it makes quite a big difference. What to say? RESPECT to you!!! I was fully into video, just enjoying watching it!
After your videos, I started to wash my car properly following your basic rules. Greetings from Serbia!
Why do you talk so slowly? It's driving me insane
Adam C because most will comment. You're talking to fast. So hence the reason he talks slowly. You know what youtubes like.
Then, this channel may not be for you.
Because people would say they can't understand him, especially with his scouse accent
Never been a fan of the C30, but man, I like this one! Congrats on the 100K, well deserved!
Nothing more relaxing then to watch other people work :) And specialy when its a great job!
Lovely to watch your masterly attention to detail, listen to your gentle explanation love the soft Liverpool accent. The car looks great the colour and those wheels work well together. Thanks for sharing
I love the C30 R Design. I think it's the best looking Volvo since the 850R.
At first I thought, a Volvo...!? However, the subtle modifications are perfect. Looking forward to following this one. Enjoy.
I love those cars. Volvo C30. Classy enough and sporty enough without being too much in one direction.
All black wheels would look amazing on this car!
Yeh they're going satin black as I'm not a huge fan of diamond cut.
Congrats Guru with your 100k subscribers....and go for more!! 🤙🏼
