I know these 4 were repainted. They were packaged in a 4 pack. All the names are the same, but the main colors are yellow with bits of black and silver. I'm getting the repaints of these 4. I always call Grimlock Scavenger. Scavenger sounds better to me than Grimlock.

Watching this video was very nostalgic, RID transformers was the first series I watched and I had MANY toys including Landfill and the G1 Bruticus repaint. Sadly I never had the combining Optimus Prime or Ultra Magnus.
You have blown my mind for showing me how to center the gun and that configuration of Grimlock! I never thought of doing those on that way! This is probably my favorite combiner set thanks to the great engineering. I love how the limb components work with either one of them being either leg or the arms. Much better than the G1 combiners in my opinion.
oh man when these came out i wanted all of them but only found al 4 at once a single time but i didn't have enough money so i could just buy hightower. i've never seen the other 3 again :(
i think rail race is hte best combiner beiseds the G1 combiners they wer awesome for there time but i owuld love to see a rail racer reissue or new mold lol
@The1shallstand Growing up back in the day I'd get the G1 constructicons for random gifts.....never got hook to complete the set. I think all collectors have a "painful" story somewhere.
If I remember correctly, on Hightower (and maybe Heavy Load as well) had some extra tab looking things near his shoulders that could flip out. I always assumed that they were used for the combined mode. Are they used for the arm modes that weren't shone?

They don't make transformers like they used to... *cries* Now we got these bull-crap movie toys with retarted transformations that could make a kid go crazy. Seriously, it takes forever to transform movie toys and by the time you're done you don't feel like playing with them anymore. Long live RID.

Also I lost most of my toys to my little brothers and countless movings from house to house but I still have High Tower with all accessories.

eBay and the like, he was released in Japan 10 years ago and a year later in the US when the series was brought over.
Is this the Korean boxed version? I think that version has more paint apps than the Japanese one. Or do I have it the other way around?
@Wipnum Yeah. Prime and Ultra Magnus were the first transformers I ever got. They were for my 8th birthday I think.
