      @@ParrotBliss I'm planning on two. But I have yet to hear your taken on breeding them. You said you were going to make a video on that? Let me know. Not sure if I'm really into breeding them but if it happens I'm ok with it.

    Lovely Lorenza. I would love an Amazon but I am concerned about the biting and behave of Amazons as several people had to give up for these reasons. Is that real? I am also concerned about binding with me and maybe not with my wife or viceversa. I know that each parrot has it own character but, are Amazon hard to keep? I have pics with owners that had massive scars and problems. Now I have a smart and sweet GCC that we love. Thank you in advance for your reply

      Yes, they can be very difficult. A Green-cheek Conure will fool you because they are sweet. Amazons can be loving but yes, they are one person birds and are unwelcoming of others.

      @@ParrotBliss I have a 17 yo blue front amazon. I rescued her 6 years ago. I was lucky to get her paper work when I adopted her.

      @@nethoncho I agree, you were lucky to get paperwork. You're also lucky that she isn't mean to your wife. Really lucky!, But you probably know that

    Are poicephalus bity

      @ParrotBliss  2 года назад +1

      Poicephalus includes several species, 7 if memory serves. Generally speaking, these are great parrots and include Senegals, Meyers parrots and more. I do not believe they are known for being biters, however this is how parrots explore, express and defend themselves so you never know -- but I would expect a fantastic companion (when you dedicate time, care and affection :)
