Great Job on the Creep! I went with gunmetal black with a satin exterior coat using Sem adhesion promoter, giving it a rat black look. Great exterior coat. The truck has had to have some Gorilla Tape to repair cracks because it’s been abused rolling down rocks, but the paint has had no issues. It’s a great body. Try the adhesion promoter available at any automotive paint supplier. Great stuff for painting plastic, and pecan. Follow directions on the can 🤙

Really like how the superlite is just such a simple well put together truck that proves its just getting the basics right, and doesn't need a ton of cash thrown at it. Cheers mate
This super light is really impressive. Looking at your previous videos about this , I did something similar with a really light body... the result is amazing, the best crawling vehicle un our RC garage ! Thanks a lot for this always useful suggestions and for on field videos ! Really good job !!
Think I need to make my Element RTR into a super light 🤔 nearly finished my Dredge/Element build with lots of Samix brass upgrades. Great content as always 🤟🤟
I'm surprised you haven’t put a Puller 400 or 500 in there for just a few more onces less weight. I've been looking at that body too. I had a 48 Willys Truck in high school.
I use the Club5 SOA Mount. I have a whole video on the mount and how it works. Check the channel for it as there are links in the description to get it

The reason I don’t use it in comps is because I’m in the pro class and the pro class requires an interior and my goal is to win the Winter Series Championship with the TRX Truck Optimus 2. Once that is done, so far I have 2 wins and am leading. Next time I will comp this one.
I can't find measurements of this body anywhere online. Can you measure the body length and width for me? I'm thinking of ordering it and putting it on my gen8 axe body. Since you have the Gen8 Axe will this fit on there? Thanks and keep the videos coming. I'm subscribed.
I hydro dipped mine. Just leave the protective plastic on the outside. I used the Tamiya ps paints for it. You have to go really fast. The paint drys super fast when it hits the water. I had to spray both colors at the same time and hold the body in my teethover the bucket to get it in the water fast enough. Good luck

Idaho RC guy I’ve built several full custom builds. It’s quite difficult when you gotta fab the bellies and links and get tabs in place. This is a simple builders kit. Also I have a full build series on it and this one is easy to duplicate.
@@ExocagedRC I guess I meant a scx10ii build off those rails not a full custom job but I have several crawlers i could get help and advice from if i did go full custom.

How much does your 'superlight ' weigh? My SCX-10's weigh in at 6.5 lbs each,all up weight.
With these metal wheels on it, it comes in at 4.2lbs. With the plastic wheels and Deepwoods tires it’s 3lbs 10oz
Ah,My axles are all alloy,which explains the weight discrepancy,thank you. Tyre wise,I'm just using Austar 120mm super swampers on 1.9" rims.
semperatis yeah I’ve added nothing to this, no metal no brass, in fact the chassis is carbon so no metal there either.
My 2 SCX-10's are the fully carbon and alloy versions.(Not scx-10 II's).
