Well, it ain't easy I tell you, but one step at a time, I've been getting the hang of it. Skipping is definitely having a huge impact in my weight loss plan (along with a nutritional plan), and I deeply thank you for all the tutorials. Wish you the very best, Eddie!
Hey man, just letting you know, i started skipping 2 weeks ago (on & off). I watched this video, even though i couldn't skip for 60sec straight, and 30 sec 1 leg straight, i manged to swap my legs (step 4/5 in your video). Your ability to break things down to as simple as this made things so much easier. Learned this 'beginner' box skipping in just an evening! Cheers and thanks man!
Out of all the videos I’ve watched, which is a lot of them, this is the most accurate, easily explained explanation!!! At least there’s a progression and steps to take!! Thanks buddy, I’m about to try it out now!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Out of all jumping boxer lessons that I've visited here on youtube, This one is the one that got me right👌👌👌 still not the best because I just got it to basic boxer jump but over time I will get to do more tricks with it😅😅 thank you so much!!!!
Brother thank you some much!! I've been trying so hard 😫 😩. Definitely going to try first thing tomorrow. I've been jumping rope for 5 rounds then hitting the heavy bag for 3 rounds then calisthenics and lastly shadow boxing for 5 rounds. Once I master the boxer skip I will finally be on point.
Stick with it my friend. I’ve lifted weights for 12 years, and have repeatedly tried to jump rope, failing every time. I loathe cardio so wanted to learn so I didn’t have to run. I’m 2 weeks in to jumping rope daily and I’m finally getting to the point where it’s enjoyable and fun. Crushed over an hour straight yesterday. Feels awesome. Just stick with it! The timing comes. ( obviously I tripped on the rope multiple times in that hour )
Hello Sir.. I am able to do alternate steps/run in place but am unable to progress to boxer skip. The flow messes up when I try to tap the other foot. Any suggestions? Also, please suggest how to skip for long? I am able to do 3 mins at one go max.. Want to do it for 10-15 mins in one go but shin splints happen...
He’s doing it, talking and demonstrating rope skipping with total breath control. Good example and challenge for me.
Lots of practise! Thanks for the nice comment bro! 🏆

LETS DO THIS!!!
My problem is coordinating the rope with the skipping. I can't get the timing down.

Steps 1 & 2 are done, now step 4 !

Focus on 1 hop on each leg and really focus on the weight shift, not rebounding! The weight shift from side to side will unlock your boxer step!
@@EddieJumps Thank you sir for your reply... Will try this
