Nope, there is a reason it's all separated into categories. Bigger engines are faster with the same time/money into them. You can cheat displacement some with higher pressures, as it is in essence increasing displacement, but the higher power you go the harder it is.
@Tekboy 808 they're not even factory blocks just like the billet 4g63 lmao, no car manufacturer is making a top fuel drag engine, pointless comparisons, two different engines made completely different
@@Namesakes.unit-x-10sq10 yes it does. If the 4g63 has a bigger turbo or bi turbo and like for example a SR has either a smaller turbo or a single turbo the SR should be slower. One thing is without a doubt. In N/A form, the SR is way superior than the 4g63.

I wonder when electrics will be trouncing these things? I predict within the next 5-7 years, but we'll see. IMPRESSIVE!!!
Cant you think of higher boost pressure as restriction of flow? I am way out of my league but wouldn't a lower pressure, higher flowing, large turbo be more beneficial? Less pressure, less heat generated compressing the air so much?
compression is the whole point..it's how engines work essentially what forced induction does is let you combust much more air/fuel volume by cramming in as much as the engine will handle
actually I kinda said that wrong, you are combusting more air/fuel in the same volume by forcing more in that the engine would pull under normal atmospheric pressure
Is this math roughly correct? The engine is receiving over 8 atmospheres of boost and I’ll take a complete guess and say it compresses it 8:1, less volumetric efficiency. So that engine sees 64 atmospheres (over 900psi) of cylinder pressure before combustion!
