- The Prince of Wales has met with 94-year-old holocaust survivor Renee Salt during a visit to the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in central London. On departure William received flowers for his wife the Princess of Wales as she recovers from surgery. Report by Matt Blair.

It is so heart moving seeing him talking to the lady who survived the Holocaust. He has such genuine compassion.
Yes he does. William has so many genuine qualities. It is easy to see why Catherine loves him. And isn't it a blessing that the survivor rose above that awful time in history, and lived to tell her tale.

This man has a lot on him with his wife still recovering and his father going through a difficult health situation. I admire his grit, determination and stamina to get on with it and do what he can. I’m Jewish and had a survivor in my family. When I went to college I had a bunch of Armenian Friends and learned about the Armenian genocide.
When a group of people are targeted for genocide, their population DECREASES. It does not INCREASE.
The descendants of genocide survivors carry the trauma in their genes. There have been studies done about their responses to stress compared to those who weren’t descended from survivors. It’s a marked difference.
@@boot-inna-yuh-rass I just read in, I believe, Scientifuc American about studies that prove that trauma does indeed affect the genes. I can’t the details. If you continue to question me I’ll go find the article. But I have a lot to do today and would rather not to have to spend time doing it.
@@boot-inna-yuh-rass In the July 2022 issue of Scientific American (pp. 50-55), you can find a detailed explanation, involving several scientific studies, which link parental trauma to changes in the DNA of subsequent generations. (I wish to emphasize that SEVERAL studies were cited, all conducted by different teams of scientists.).
The trail began with studies of children of 9/11 survivors, through the children of VietNam veterans and ended with the descendants of Holocaust survivors.
I think this is more scientifically valid than your, “Nuh-uh, it’s just psychological.” You haven’t presented any scientific proof of your statement, while questioning mine. Thank you for wasting 15 minutes of my time.
