i have 115 hours in this game, and im in a NG+ on ultra hard right now. ive NEVER used berserk, even though ive been holding on to a bow with it, and now i feel silly for not using it. i love overriding machines and causing chaos. what sold me is being able to use it on apex machines. thanks man! thumb'd and sub'd

I mean... Berserk is pretty easy to understand, it is basically an "override from distance" but that also can be harmful to you if you get close. Do you wanna know what is really impossible to understand for me? Plasma and Sticky... It is still mind boggling to me why Guerrilla did that...
🤣 I’m currently working on a Plasma video and have an Adhesive one on deck after that. No spoilers, but yyyeah.. both are pretty underwhelming. I actually think adhesive is more useful than plasma
I wouldn't say it is easier to obtain berserk than overrides. You can complete cauldron mu and even Iota before you find a berserk arrow bow. Your first option is from completing hunting grounds then purchasing the marshal bow at the arena or the seeds of the past quest where you find the berserker hunter bow. Both are well after your first chance at cauldron mu.
It should also be worth noting that you can also override knocked down or shocked machines. Though you can just apply a berserk without needing these states. Or you could use both together. Shock one enemy and berserk another to act as your diversion.
I haven't really tested this out much though. I want to create a build that utilities this after I complete my fresh ultra hard playthrough weapon/armor upgrades. This is a nice introduction to berserk though and I hope it encourages more people to try it.

yes! it's a blast to use. it was fun making this video and seeing all the crazy scenarios that can happen with machines when you use it. it's definitely a wild card
Seriously, an Elemental Clawstrider becomes a SUPER powerful ally when coupled with the various Machine buffs on Armor & Weaves. I've seen my Fire Clawstrider take out a Frostclaw before all by itself with these buffs! It really is that powerful!
I don't often use riding Mounts to get around, so having a Combat mount that I can summon at any time is just great! Only bad part is if it dies, I have to go find another one to Override which is a shame.

I'll say one thing, the new Berserk Blast Valor Surge is AMAZING for big groups of enemies, specially Clamberjaws! I use it & the enemies usually lose two thirds of their health plus end up confused so I can stay in hiding or even sneak up on them. It's SUPER useful!

I liked using it at the end to make the Fireclaws i have 25 minute slobberknocker fights with go Fazbear twitchy while i talk shit to their face

Do Machine based buffs on armor or Weaves affect Berserked machines too? That would be SUPER useful if so!
Could throw on your best Machine based armor w buffs like Machine Damage, Machine Elemental, Etc. I am really hoping it works on them!
PLZ HELP---> How do you get 15% Berserk coils?

I've been playing the PS5 complete edition for about a month and I'm in new game + Besides the Elite Berserk I can't find a single Berserk coil, not even a low rarity. Did they take Berserk coils out of the game or something? I checked the coil chart that was provided on Arktix channel which states the coil is farmable, however it doesn't seem to be the case since I haven't been able to find a single one at all. Any help would be appreciated.
Now here's a problem... Doesn't Triple Notch immediately alert an enemy to your presence? Thus if you hit a Machine w Triple Notched Berserk arrows, they will be alerted to your presence & will likely attack you instead of other machines....
How do you get around this? I've seen many other players posting about this very problem.
Berserk can trigger by chain burst?!!! If only I knew that earlier😭
What happens if a machine sees me and is attacking me i apply bersek status in the machine and another machine is closer . Will the machine change targets?
I will find out but i would like to ask how this would work
it's a little hard to say because Berserk can be pretty unpredictable. As a general rule, the Berserk'd machine is supposed to attack whatever is closest. But if a machine is already attacking you and you hit it with Berserk, my guess is that it'll still keep attacking you. But, another nearby non-Berserk'd machine might turn around and start attacking that machine. So it could still be useful (or at least a good distraction) in that scenario. Definitely let me know what happens when you try it out

Most machines will get away from u if you don't attack them they won't follow u. So I tried with burrowers they will harras u wherever u go
The berserk burrower will keep attacking u but the other burrowers if they lose sight of u will attack the berserk burrower. So they will attack u until they lose sight of u
What's the other coils name? The arrow one???

How do I equip these arrows
you have to have a weapon that uses Berserk ammo. I believe you can get the Berserker Hunter Bow relatively early as a reward for the Seeds of the Past side quest. Or you can unlock the Marshall Hunter Bow with tokens from completely Hunting Grounds challenges. There's also the Emperor's Reign legendary hunter bow that you can get in the Burning Shores.
