They literally didn't even discuss Vincent price. How are you doing a thriller documentary without talking about Vincent prices iconic participation in it? How? It felt deliberate. No Jackson's were featured. They didn't mention the fire accident in the studio where one of the speakers exploded in flames. They didn't even discuss the disclaimer of the thriller video and why MJ had to put in a disclaimer. Literally no mention of it. Even the cultural impact of the album were not sufficiently covered. They didn't mention MJs historic Hollywood walk of fame ceremony which is THE MOST ATTENDED WALK OF FAME CEREMONY EVER! They didn't mention MJs historic visit to madame tussauds wax figure in london where a crowd of 7k were waiting. They didn't even sufficiently break down how the songs in the album were created especially the story of human nature was NOT DISCUSSED. All these shortcomings... and YET I LOVED THIS DOCUMENTARY LMAOOOOOOO. I watched it FIVE times over.

You’re so right! There was so much they didn’t discuss, which is why I felt it was meant to be an overview for the general public instead of for fans who would notice the lack of discussion of the things you had mentioned. And yet, like you, I also love the documentary 😂😂 I mean, come on, the footage and editing were amazing lmaooooo 😩

I just wish it would’ve been four episodes long, and they should’ve talked to his family members. This is Thriller.

That’s so awesome, thank you 😊 Yes, it’s very unfortunate that there was so much they left out. Overall, the documentary was great, but should’ve been longer (or at least the makers could have used their time a little more efficiently) to cover more topics, such as Vincent Price’s contribution.

the Swifties' reaction to everything has turned me away from TS the same as the Beyhive's reactions have turned me away from Beyonce. no fault of their own-neither one-but i cannot root for someone/something that celebrates my demise. both these fanbases do that. and one random Swiftie (on Twitter) said that they "wish the fanbases (Michael's and Taylor's) would come together." i am like "HOW?!!!" Michael is target number one that the very legendary status of their favs is dependent on surpassing and defeating. can't happen.

Absolutely. I feel like the fandoms completely forget Michael’s impact, insisting that the artist they stan is “more famous” and “bigger” than Michael Jackson. Someone made a fantastic point that it is a blessing that they aren’t “Michael-Jackson-level-famous” as his fame hurt him in several ways. Like how you feel, the stans’ comments also kinda turn me off from their music at times, which is unfortunate because I actually like some of Beyoncé’s songs. It’s sad that respect hasn’t been offered to our fandom nor to Michael from them. I don’t see us getting along any time soon unless respect is paid, then we wouldn’t have to be on the defense. It doesn’t mean that Michael has to be their favorite, but just not attempting to diminish his impact just to raise their artist higher would be suffice. Also, it just isn’t good overall to be rude to others, regardless of who your favorite artist is. Like, we didn’t come for you, no need to come for us.

@@kimlovesmjj agreed. we MJ fans stay in our corner enjoying Michael's music. we bother no one. heck, like you said, we like other artists as well. but when people unfairly target Michael to shine light on their favs, we go into warrior mode.
