Fun video zWORMz! I never owned the GT 730 ddr3 version... I had the 2 gig ddr5 GT 730. The ddr3 memory bandwidth really cripples this card. I'm still happy with my GT 1030 upgrade over that GPU. (double the performance) Thanks again and keep up the great content!
I just got a GT 730 2GB GDDR5 over clocked version for my budget build. For the light gaming that I do it actually doesn't do too bad. I was expecting the same performance as shown in this video, but when I tested the same games it performed on average 150 % better and in some cases almost 3 times better. Its still far from a nice graphics card, but it will hold me over for now until GPU prices drop and I can get something a bit nicer. Not bad though.
Yeah the GDDR5 version is way better and can actually be used to game a little bit. These cards can overclock really well and pick up quite a bit of performance too.
@@KonradVarga Mine never got above 60 degrees durring extended gaming. Im not using it anymore. I have a 1050ti now. I still kept it for a spare though.
I hate cards like this. Don't get me wrong, i know their purpose as display adaptors. But when they end up on 'gaming systems', thats when they really suck. These cards are basically being used by scammers who take advantage of normies who doesn't know any better and that's just bad. Im seeing quite a few systems with a 730 being sold around $300-400 and being marked as 'GAMING!!!!!1!!!' and that really pisses me off because someone's getting scammed
@@ameliatheressa1911 oh yeah definitely. Tho if you can just squeeze a little bit more money i highly suggest the 750 ti. Not only would it have more vram than the base 750 (1gb vs 2gb), you'll also be able some modernish aaa games on low settings at around 900p to 1080p (depending on the title). Just make sure you have 8gb+ of ram in dual channel and a reasonably fast cpu
I actually have a ddr 5 version in an old dell optiplex although I mainly use it for playing older games and a few from last generation on lowest settings. Although wouldn't really use it for anything competitive online as i would probably be asking to get killed fast. But sticking it in a small system and treating it like and older console is the way to go with this card.
Few weeks ago I was so desperate to get a GPU that I almost was thinking to buy a gt 730, but I've found a 750ti at a good price. Now I am saving some money and I am waiting for the perfect moment to buy a new GPU.
@@SSJfraz if it can overclock. Not all will do that. Some will crash even with +50 core or vram. Mine as example can do +100 on core and +50 on vram but it doesn't help in most games I play. The one where I've seen a "big" improvement is CSGO.
If you buy this card (gt730 2gb) buy the eVGA version. The performance is like 50% better because of the doubled bandwidth+ overclock. Honestly, its like a totally different card its that much better.
Just bought a gt 730 for $15 and I’m perfectly happy playing csgo and valorant at 60fps for now honestly I got a series x so I’m not really serious about pc gaming got an i7 so it should be fine
I just want to point it out there's two versions of gt 730 the first one is the rebadged version of gt 430 (if you saw the 128 bit memory bus, you know you're actually using the rebranded gt 430) the second one actual gt 730 (as you using in this video) but with two memory configurations: the slower ddr3 and faster gddr5 glad i have the gddr5 version, which is a bit faster
I'm still rocking that gpu with my AMD A8-6600k. I only play GTA V so far but with this video, I found some playable titles that I want to play next. Thank you Kryzzp 😊.

To be honest, The GT 730 in general isn't that bad, You happened to own the worst variant with the lowest memory bandwidth, A standard GT 730 should be 128bit DDR3 with the Kepler architecture, And the best being with the GDDR5. memory.
Well, any variant of it is bad. Worse than the vast majority of relatively modern integrated GPU. It completely sucked even when it just came out. Performance for money is simply not there. For the same price you can get CPU with a better iGPU.
your video quality is improving that good i like it i watch your videos when you have 10k sub i never think one day you will have 197k your hard work roll you toward success love it
It's a good thing I have a habit of not throwing out old GPUs or selling them off after buying a new one. I still have my Ryzen 5 2400G, Radeon RX 570 and Radeon RX 5600 XT so I have backups if things fail.
i had a 730 in my system paired with a 5800x just because i got it for free, it was actually really good for not doing any gaming. now i have a 3060 instead and its an insane difference
Nowadays the only relatively inexpensive card you can get for gaming is gt 1030, the gtx 750 ti is no longer a good option as game developers are dropping support for dx11 and any gpu without support for dx12 will be a piece of trash in coming years.
I got a i5 12400 for retro like Fallout 4 and Mount & Blade too. Because UHD 730 onboard is slightly better than GT 730, means I don't need to buy an extra GPU... for now.

I also buy/sell too so im Always in search of Deals and score some from time to time. Not a single card ive bought used over the past decade have been faulty so im at 100% and hope to maintain it . these videos are awesome because it shows how capable these little guys are! valorant is still one of the coolest tests so far, the game is light and looks awesome on low settings, but as much as i like to see the "brute force" of these gpus on recent tittles, i think it would be even nicer to put some older games there like Skyrim, GTA IV, Borderlands 1, Left 4 Dead, Mirror's Edge, Burnout Paradise, you get the idea, games that these cards have a chance, i'd love to see someone do a video like that in the future, i would do it myself but i can't right now.

Would you consider a good option getting one of these just for playing games like Lol, or AoE DE, and some video editing for 170usd? Or a rx 550 2gb for the same purpose and even better graphics games for 310usd? (Or rx550 4gb for 450usd) Each option is the cheapest I could find where I live, Argentina, and my idea is to have one until the other models prices go down a bit (they've already been getting cheaper but people say it will be even more) since I have a decent cpu, i7 10700f, and 32gb ram ddr4 3200 I'm leaving the rest of the components just there without any use so I want a cheap one asap just to start using them :/

My parents bought me this 730. It's not much but I can at least play some games so I'm grateful for what I got. I'll buy a better one after I get a job which might take about 3 years but I'll get it eventually, so for now I'll make do with what I have.
The GT 730 can be a life saver on the used market below $30 if you're desperate for getting display (let's say your card broke and you need to do homework) and you'll get Nintendo Switch level performance so you can still run most light games and eSports like Minecraft, Valorant, TF2, L4D2, even DOOM Eternal with 30 FPS cap and dynamic resolution that game is just so damn well optimized That is, if you get the GDDR5 model instead Paired with an i3 and 8GB RAM it should be good for a cheap multimedia or light gaming system
