School is the last place I’d ever want to experience an asthma attack. One of the scariest moments of my life happened when I was about 10 years old and had an asthma attack at home while my parents weren’t there. I couldn’t breathe at all and genuinely thought I wasnt gonna make it. Scary thought for a child. My older sister ran out, knocking on neighbors’ doors. People probably thought she was crazy, but she got me a ride to the hospital, and I’m here today because of her. It’s an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. This is so sad to see.
I wish I could hug her, I almost lost my daughter the same way. She was running track at this school passed out was unresponsive they tried to say it was dehydration. My daughter is asthmatic and because of the negligence the organization claims they never knew she had asthma. Which was a lie it was on her registration. When my daughter passed out I was the one that called 911 because they didn’t believe it was a medical emergency. My daughter was without oxygen for 2 mins. Before 911 arrived. This happened in May as of today my daughter has heart issues, she has a hard time remembering things due to lack of oxygen as well as she has to wear a heart monitor. She has trouble even doing daily activities. What is the proper protocol for this? These adults aren’t medically trained so why aren’t they calling EMT in a timely manner As a mother I feel her pain 😢 R.I.P to this precious baby
Oh no... I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. There is a problem here at the school, clearly. I hope ya'll get an attorney to represent your child & hopefully the parents of this young man will too. Big hugs to you & your daughter. My granddaughter is 10 & has asthma, also a CFISD student. This is scary
@@3rdward713 sad part Is because of the negligence our kids and families are suffering We ve been back and forth to all types of specialists. To this day she’s still suffering we need to hold these ppl accountable. We trust them with our kids but yet our kids are Treated as if they don’t matter. I pray that family gets justice it won’t bring that beautiful baby back but it will maybe help others raise the awareness. Unfortunately it takes for something bad to happen for them to take something serious.
Oh my gosh. I am heart broken for this child, parents, his siblings & schoolmates. Lord, please give them strength to get through this horrific nightmare. What a beautiful kid he was. Sending love & my condolences to the family.
THE FAMILY NEEDS TO PRESS CHARGES!!! PERIOD. In the UK we have proper protocols and nothing like this ever happened. From heat strokes to abuses of any kind the US school system clearly isn't fit for the purpose.
This is very upsetting to hear about a child who was just excited to do something he enjoyed and then he’s just gone. I feel like that school didn’t do enough in time for that baby. My heart is aching for the family. Sending my deepest condolences 🙏🏽😔
My condolences to his family, friends, classmates and the staff. I know he was scared. Asthma is a scary illness. I was alone at home and couldn't talk, gasping for aire and my rescue inhaler. Was scared that I would not make it. I took 2 puffs and I felt myself calming down.
That's not acceptable. Not today. I have asthma. I went into cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest in the ER and they were able to save me. A school should have a pulse oximeter to check his oxygen level and should have rushed him to the hospital or gotten the fire department to him immediately. He probably could have been saved. So tragic. Praying for the family. ❤
I remember something like this happened to me twice when I was in elementary school. It was during basketball games at the Boys & Girls club. I felt my chest and throat get tight and I immediately called time out and ran to the drinking fountain. Both times, just drinking water made it go away. It never happened before or after those games and I was never diagnosed with asthma. It was super scary. I played basketball the rest of the season with no issues. I did start drinking water more and more while on time out and while resting on the bench. I'm not sure what caused it or if it was even asthma but either way, struggling to breathe is no fun!
I'm diagnose with heart disease, i have just 2 years to live, i've never been this scared to die, i'm just 35, i cry everyday wishing for a miracle to happen. i don't know why im saying this here. put me in your prayers.
I'm really sorry. i've was in such situation 15 months ago. i had just 2 months to live till a friend told me about a healer who helped me. Him cured me, I don't know how him did it. but i owe him my life. His the reason i'm alive today.
I will & will ask others to. I'm so sorry for you. I wish I could give you a hug. Raising awareness about the importance of staff acting fast to call 911 is a good thing that you're doing. It's time that training of all personnel at schools know how to react & save lives.
Mam im sure you won’t read these comments but I’m sure God needed your son, it was part of his plan and that’s a great thing to know that God called on him. I’m truly sorry for loss but just know he’s in great hands and will never let you down. 🙏🏻
nobody takes the issues of children seriously at these schools. there's no way nobody noticed something was up. why did nobody call 911? there were multiple adults and nobody called anybody?
These people don't care about black kids, this is happening nationwide. You young black parents are to trusting with your baby's with these people. I'm reading things like this all over RUclips and why is it black kids only being unlive at school.
Parents need to notify the teachers of their children's medical conditions and it it's serious they should have to wear something on them so that the nurses can easily identify what it is and act accordingly. He shouldn't have died from an Asthma attack if he had his inhaler and what's with people watching someone in distress die when EMS was so close to this school. I'm ashamed of what humanity has become. I'm sure someone else who was there and close had an inhaler that they could have used on him in that emergency situation.
He doesn't have frequent attacks. This was his first this year. Since she was not in attendance, as a parent, you can only go off of assumptions since the coaches didn't reach out to her. She's trying to learn more now. Biggest issue here, the 4 adult coaches DID NOT call 911 immediately. A fire station was less than a 5 minute walk away
@@esils Your missing the point wether he had his inhaler or not why did 4 Adults wait to call is the question. ANYTHING could have been wrong. When I asked who called the EMT THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NO NEED. These adults as well as the school need to be held accountable.!!!!! This baby needs Justice, to me that was negligence on their part if u ask me.
He had two inhalers. Yes he tried to use them. He was panicking. No one else knew how to properly administer an inhaler when a child is in distress the police were not notified until 20minutes later.
Lawyer up and get them to subpoena the school district for video records. At what time did he collapse and when was EMS called? The district is just going to deflect blame.

I am so sorry for the kid and his family. Asthma is no joke, imagine not being able to breathe
, it is a really scary feeling.
The family is more concerned about suing and getting money than the son.
My sincere condolences to the family, he was my daughter's classmate, that is so sad and frustrating a fire station with paramedics next door!

Dr Ben Spell Castle is the healer I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment
I looked up him name online and found his page. I emailed and made an appointment to talk with him. Thanks for the tip
I’m so sorry to hear that
