I have a launch ps4 and playing my ps4 games on ps5 are such a leap. I was playing Fallen Order on ps4 then jumped to 5 and how smooth it is now and how quick just was jaw dropping for me. I had to say a prayer for my launch ps4 before trying to play God Of War and other heavy games plus deal with the jet engine noise. Now my ps5 dead silently plays my games smooth as butter.
i never played ps4 and never played days gone but i just got platinum and i cant lie i’m gutted it only took me 120hrs 😁 the game is amazing and pray for number 2

There's a huge difference between Assassin's Creed Valhalla on ps4 pro compared to ps5. Those 3 minutes loading times turns to 5 seconds. And everything looks stunning in 60fps.
The smooth and consistent 60fps that God of War ran in was super great to look at when I played. It looked nice with Ratchet and Clank too, though the cinematic cutscenes were still 30fps on PS5.
First game I started playing I got my PS5 was Ghosts of T.… Picking up about halfway through the story mode from the PlayStation 4. All I can say is-amazing! So much better! A must play.
This is a big reason I bought the PS5. I never bought a ps4 since I put alot of money in digital content on the xbox 360 to play on the ONE (rock band songs). So I missed out on a lot of great games, I'm super excited to check the games I've wanted to play like GOW, Uncharted, Spiderman, days gone, sf5, and guilty gear.
I just bought a PS5 bundle with a second controller and Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut. It's an awesome game, from gameplay to graphics, and it's an historical accurate masterpiece on top of all that. There's nothing there to frustrate one's immersion, just the alert sign, the little perry flash, the arrow and bombs sight, or the focus vision feature, but without them playing would be almost impossible. You can even remove the Hud completely though. If you don't rush it and play it like a pro, it turns into a freaking Akira Kurosawa movie, they knew this, they even got a filter for the true "connaisseur". A must for PS5.
Being a free option,the Ratchet upgrade is absolutely stunning. Great job there. Also I played GoT and I swear I had to close my mouth. If this is the beginning I can only sit down and hope for the best games to come
I hope you know that the ff7 remake PS5 update will only be free for the people who bought the game initially and not for the ps plus version. Just letting you know 🙂

@@chaos3two Yeah, I was shocked to see it since I put so many hours into the game on PS4 but then kinda just didn’t feel like finishing it when I heard the PS5 was going to boost frame rate on old games. Perfect 60fps on PS5. I’ve put effort into trying to make the frame rate drop by gathering lots of enemies to chase me, but the frames don’t drop even once. It’s incredible.
Another one that not many people mention or talk about is "Until Dawn" and all the dark picture series. There was no official "patch", but the game ran at an uncapped framerate, but could only hit 30 or so on ps4. On PS5, buttery smooth (for the most part) 60fps, makes a huge difference to all those titles.
The Ghost of Tsushima upgrade made me audibly gasp. Easily one of the best games I have ever played in my life. I can't wait for TLoU:2 to get a PS5 patch... if it even really needs one, to be honest. Haha!
Yeah coming to PS4 from playing on PC, I've been really impressed how first party games have been able to deliver great feeling gameplay at 30fps. TLoU2 was so enjoyable and felt smooth, and so were God of War and Spiderman
Just checking this out after being fortunate enough to get my hands on a PS5 disc version from the latest drop at Argos. Frame rate is by far the most significant game changer for me nowadays. Graphics are better on the newer systems but they still look good on the base PS4. I was blown away by how good Uncharted 4 looked on my PS4. Frame rate has been the biggest influence on my media consumption since the move from stereo sound to Dolby Digital on my PS2. It seems there is little originality in games nowadays so these factors do it for me. Great video btw, subscribed.
Uncharted 4 was the first game I played when I finally picked up a PS4 a few years ago. I'd been out of gaming for 10 years at that point and Uncharted 4 was an excellent introduction to modern gaming. What a game! I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was, and the action set pieces were so thrilling. However, it set a really high bar for everything I played after.
I passed on it when it launched but when I got my ps5 it's the first game I downloaded from the ps+ collection. Now I just got the platinum after 47 hrs of gameplay. Truely an underrated game !
Amazingly boring. Amazingly over rated. Almost finished it on my ps5 and its just another assassins creed box ticking side missions...yawn. Amazing colours and fighting but game of the year worthy? Not by a long shot. Both TLOU2 and Doom Eternal were miles better. I give Ghosts a solid 7.

The combat, movement, atmosphere and game design are undeniably a 10 and well above most games ever made. The story is a matter of opinion, but the game as a whole absolutely stands side by side with TLOU2 and Doom Eternal and has better art direction than both
@@Tribal74 The only racing title I have played on PS4/5 is GT Sport. It's a great game in it's own right and has great multiplayer support, but it's physics are a little too forgiving and arcade like for my tastes. On PC, I'll play Asseto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Raceroom, and Automobilista 2. All are really great sims, with Raceroom and Asseto Corsa being my current favs. Raceroom is built on a vey old engine, so it looks pretty dated now, but the car handling and AI is sublime. Asseto Corsa is also particularly good, and can look amazing when modded up from the base game. Tbh, all these PC sims are great and offer a big step up from GT Sport.
I finally caved and tracked down a PS5 disk edition with Forbidden West around the corner. Played Zero Dawn and the upgrade from PS4 to PS5 were immediately noticeable. Playing GOW now and holy cow is it beautiful. I cannot wait for Forbidden West to come out days from now. Gonna pick Days Gone up after that for damn sure,
If one man at insomniac was able to unlock ratchet and clank's fps to 60 in less than a day, then at least every sony exclusives should get the same treatment.

I had OG ps4 and didn’t play it for a long time. If I managed to get a ps5 on drop, which I did, ghost is Tsushima was my first choice and man that game is another level of innovation and beauty. The ending had me twisted up inside too lol definitely recommend that on ps5 it was incredible
@@toxicbruh4958 currently I have a 65 in LG that is 60 hz. But it is an led 4k display and looks amazing. It also has trumotion 120. Which means,while it can't display 120 fps,the cpu in the TV kinda fakes it and I honestly can't tell that much of a difference. Dmc 5 is the only game that I've tried it with and it works.

If it's not AC, I can't even consider Ubisoft titles although I dabble in the crew 2 since I love cars. Actually I owned Breakpoint, fun the first 7 hrs then it just fell off hard for me. Ended up selling it for $10 after paying $5 for it lol

I finally broke down and bought PS5 about 2 months ago. I played through GoW first but I may go back and play through Jedi Fallen Order again now. I played it on PS4 Pro, but I loved it enough to where it would be fun to do again.
Fingers crossed. Horizon Zero Dawn is about to be giving to everyone for free. But I'm praying they have a surprise in store for us. Just imagine making Aloy constantly run and roll out of Danger while shooting a Bow and Arrow at 60 FPS.. Also a fresh PS5 Performance Upgrade in the Graphics Department. The Game already looks amazing. But to see Ray Tracing with true 4K 60 would look amazing. My fingers are definitely crossed. Hopefully it can someday hit 120fps 😁😁😁 I want to experience what PC players are experiencing with Horizon Zero Dawn. At least somewhat close to it if possible lol.

Dude horizon is one of my favorite games and the new horizon and God of war are the main reasons I wanted a ps5. I'm about to play God of war on ps5, but I really would love to play horizon zero dawn with the upgrades you mentioned, that would be amazing!

I just beat the main story and now I'm in the Frozen Wilds DLC part. Looks freaking amazing in Frozen Wilds. I have a 55" Samsung QLED QN90A smart tv and my eyes are huge everytime I play it on the PS5. I got lucky and Preorder Horizon 2 Forbidden West Regalla Edition. I can't wait to get it and I can't wait to play the game.
Simply loading ps4 games on the ps5 is insane. My profile for horizon Zero Dawn used to take about 80 seconds on the ps4 pro. Now on the ps5 takes like 30 seconds!

I wish the ones with just a patch were fully ported so we could get trophies again! Either way pretty cool devs are still supporting these games and showing players what they could have been if ps4 was a bit more of a powerful console
What TV you running it on? Currently got the 75 inch Sony bravia XH92 but not got ultimate addition. GoT ill go back to eventually as I've only just complete it on ps4

Great list! But you left out a key game. The Last Guardian! With a physical disc and not allowing any updates by turning them off the game runs at an uncapped framerate. With the power of the Ps5 that means a locked 60 fps! Playing this game at 60 fps is a revalation and stunning. Fumito Ueda's classic has finally found a system that matched his ambition!
Yeah, AC:Unity is same way. They had to nerf the crowds and cap the framerate at 30 (whuch it still dipped below) on PRO and base PS4 in a patch, but running unpatched off the Disc you get hundreds of NPC's and moving objects running at 60fps. I thought the game sucked until I tried it like this. All I can say is WOW. It amazes me that all these games don't get a patch to unlock the framerate. I understand that some games' physics simulation and AI can "break" at higher framerates if such were not intended or expected, but those games are the exception. And I agree, The Last Guardian at 60fps is transformative. It's like a new game.
DS is a beautiful game and the new game coming out from Square Enix Forespoken.. Crash Bandicoot looks good too. I seen a few other beautiful looking games releasing next year too. One of them made me believe there is hope. Next year should be good. I hope

I have a xbox series x and never played any of these games but for my bday April 6 I got a ps5 I have hooked it up and lets just say my friends on xbox haven't seen me since. First of all lets begin with I didn't even have to purchase any of these games when I signed up for ps plus I was greated with GOD OF WAR, DAYS GONE , THE LAST OF US AND MORE! I didn't know wich game to start playing first so I picked god of war and boy I can't put it down. Where have I been not playing these games? Im kinda glad I did wait because from what I believe in experiencing the best qualities of these titles. Im also going to buy ghost of tawhatever its called and bothe those spiderman games. Try ratchet and clank and bloodborne. Bloodborne maybe hard at first it gets better and better as you keep playing. Also go grab yourself those free at home games sony is doing. They gave out 9 free games to keep forever and 1 more in April 26.
Just finish GOW on the PS5. Man the game is so beautiful. From start to finish. Played on 55in Vizio M series with contrast max and brightness low enough for inky-looking blacks
Finally got a ps5. While i have experienced these games on base ps4, im not sure if im going to try them now on their compat versions since im holding out for native ps5 versions, at least GoW and GoT
Bo3 - comes for free from the PS collection with Zombies Chronicles and it looks good and is more stable, so if you or some pals ever wanna play some old cod zombies it’s a good pick up for the ZC bundle alone

I didn't see Marvel's Spider-man Remastered in the list. The gane's graphics upscale on the PS5 is epic especially with RT features.

Until dawn is self aware and has an intentional corny aspects, but all their other games are horribly acted and unintristing

I’ve been playing Ratchet & Clank and Crash 4 on PS5. It looks incredible indeed, great performance.
I'm lucky enough to own a super High end PC which I mainly use for Sim racing, but I've been loving playing Sony First party PS4 games on my PS5.
Which racing games do you prefer on pc and ps5. Im playing gran turismo sport rn and then going to play asseto corsa. Thoughts?
@@Tribal74 The only racing title I have played on PS4/5 is GT Sport. It's a great game in it's own right and has great multiplayer support, but it's physics are a little too forgiving and arcade like for my tastes. On PC, I'll play Asseto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Raceroom, and Automobilista 2. All are really great sims, with Raceroom and Asseto Corsa being my current favs. Raceroom is built on a vey old engine, so it looks pretty dated now, but the car handling and AI is sublime. Asseto Corsa is also particularly good, and can look amazing when modded up from the base game. Tbh, all these PC sims are great and offer a big step up from GT Sport.
Days gone is an amazing game and it deserves a sequel.
I finally caved and tracked down a PS5 disk edition with Forbidden West around the corner. Played Zero Dawn and the upgrade from PS4 to PS5 were immediately noticeable. Playing GOW now and holy cow is it beautiful. I cannot wait for Forbidden West to come out days from now.
Gonna pick Days Gone up after that for damn sure,

If one man at insomniac was able to unlock ratchet and clank's fps to 60 in less than a day, then at least every sony exclusives should get the same treatment.
Not every game is the same. Some games have things like animations or damage data hardcoded to 30 fps.
Now if would Sony would just release more than 12 units a month, I might actually buy a PS5. I'm a dreamer
I know the feeling. I’m looking at 3 different stores websites at every location within a 2 hour drive with zero luck and nothing in stores and I’m checking about 20 times a day.

I had OG ps4 and didn’t play it for a long time. If I managed to get a ps5 on drop, which I did, ghost is Tsushima was my first choice and man that game is another level of innovation and beauty. The ending had me twisted up inside too lol definitely recommend that on ps5 it was incredible

Days gone, ghost of Tsushima, god of war, the last of us 2, god of war, HZD, uncharted 4 I’m all in for upgrades or these games.

@@toxicbruh4958 currently I have a 65 in LG that is 60 hz. But it is an led 4k display and looks amazing. It also has trumotion 120. Which means,while it can't display 120 fps,the cpu in the TV kinda fakes it and I honestly can't tell that much of a difference. Dmc 5 is the only game that I've tried it with and it works.
@@toxicbruh4958 good place to look is Best Buy. Got mine on sale (50" Samsung) for like $300. It's 4K and has HDR. Perfect tv for it
@@toxicbruh4958 I bought an LG Nanocell 4K HDR with a 120 refresh rate. It's a model specific to Best Buy and is appreciably cheaper than a Samsung QLED. Looks amazing.

@@white9093 all that human eye bs just an excuse and in defense of consoles by console gamers.. As previous gen consoles only tend to have select games running at 60fps, it's nice to see that this current gen will have integrated support for new and existing games. It truly does bring new life to older titles.
If you haven't tried ubisoft's Tom Clancy games definitely check out Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Division 2. They look amazing.

If it's not AC, I can't even consider Ubisoft titles although I dabble in the crew 2 since I love cars. Actually I owned Breakpoint, fun the first 7 hrs then it just fell off hard for me. Ended up selling it for $10 after paying $5 for it lol

@@CSTBFO_jad Same engine, but play completely different lol. I actually own the Division 2, just remembered. Got it in the $3 digital ps sale. Personally not a fan, although I enjoyed Division 1 back on release, but not enough to continue after beating it.
Breakpoint though broke me. It reminded me that these games all share the same engine. So I just plsy AC and keep it moving lol

It's the first time I play the new God of War and holy, they really managed to make the franchise fresh and modern. I got the Blades of Chaos back last night and I'm super excited to see what's next!

I finally broke down and bought PS5 about 2 months ago. I played through GoW first but I may go back and play through Jedi Fallen Order again now. I played it on PS4 Pro, but I loved it enough to where it would be fun to do again.
Would want a Red Dead 2 to get an upgrade as well
If you think its great on PS5, you should see it on the PS9 Crystal Ball. It projects the game right into your mind.
I played PS4 Rocket League on my PS5 and I noticed that it plays in 120fps, that was a nice discovery.
Fingers crossed. Horizon Zero Dawn is about to be giving to everyone for free. But I'm praying they have a surprise in store for us. Just imagine making Aloy constantly run and roll out of Danger while shooting a Bow and Arrow at 60 FPS..
Also a fresh PS5 Performance Upgrade in the Graphics Department. The Game already looks amazing. But to see Ray Tracing with true 4K 60 would look amazing. My fingers are definitely crossed. Hopefully it can someday hit 120fps 😁😁😁

Dude horizon is one of my favorite games and the new horizon and God of war are the main reasons I wanted a ps5. I'm about to play God of war on ps5, but I really would love to play horizon zero dawn with the upgrades you mentioned, that would be amazing!
@@thebaddestlarry9424 yeah they ended up coming out with a 60fps patch for Horizon Zero Dawn. It's also my all time favorite. I'm actually playing it right now. I just beat the main story and now I'm in the Frozen Wilds DLC part.
Looks freaking amazing in Frozen Wilds. I have a 55" Samsung QLED QN90A smart tv and my eyes are huge everytime I play it on the PS5.

Simply loading ps4 games on the ps5 is insane. My profile for horizon Zero Dawn used to take about 80 seconds on the ps4 pro. Now on the ps5 takes like 30 seconds!

HZD at 1440p locked at 60fps is awesome , or 2160p locked at 30fps.

I dont know why people get the days gone upgrade wrong. Its still checkerboard 4k not dynamic 4k like so many others say.
Warframe also got a native PS5 upgrade and includes adaptive triggers and runs at 60fps

my last PS was the first psx... this ps5 on a new 4k oled has turned my pc gaming rig into a youtube player and email box.... so immersive it's hard to put down the controller
Great list! But you left out a key game. The Last Guardian! With a physical disc and not allowing any updates by turning them off the game runs at an uncapped framerate. With the power of the Ps5 that means a locked 60 fps! Playing this game at 60 fps is a revalation and stunning. Fumito Ueda's classic has finally found a system that matched his ambition!

Yeah, AC:Unity is same way. They had to nerf the crowds and cap the framerate at 30 (whuch it still dipped below) on PRO and base PS4 in a patch, but running unpatched off the Disc you get hundreds of NPC's and moving objects running at 60fps. I thought the game sucked until I tried it like this. All I can say is WOW. It amazes me that all these games don't get a patch to unlock the framerate.
I understand that some games' physics simulation and AI can "break" at higher framerates if such were not intended or expected, but those games are the exception.
And I agree, The Last Guardian at 60fps is transformative. It's like a new game.

Ratchet 2016 is definitely not a faithful retelling of the original. Rift Apart also isn’t a sequel to the reboot, it’s set in the original universe.

DS is a beautiful game and the new game coming out from Square Enix Forespoken.. Crash Bandicoot looks good too. I seen a few other beautiful looking games releasing next year too. One of them made me believe there is hope. Next year should be good. I hope

Completely agree with avengers it's a gorgeous detailed looking game as is ghost of tsushima! The extra frames just make a huge difference. Horizon is next on the list though that game will look great on the ps5😉

I have a xbox series x and never played any of these games but for my bday April 6 I got a ps5 I have hooked it up and lets just say my friends on xbox haven't seen me since. First of all lets begin with I didn't even have to purchase any of these games when I signed up for ps plus I was greated with GOD OF WAR, DAYS GONE , THE LAST OF US AND MORE! I didn't know wich game to start playing first so I picked god of war and boy I can't put it down. Where have I been not playing these games? Im kinda glad I did wait because from what I believe in experiencing the best qualities of these titles. Im also going to buy ghost of tawhatever its called and bothe those spiderman games. Thanks for this video and do anyone know what other ps exclusives I should get?
Try ratchet and clank and bloodborne. Bloodborne maybe hard at first it gets better and better as you keep playing. Also go grab yourself those free at home games sony is doing. They gave out 9 free games to keep forever and 1 more in April 26.

Just finish GOW on the PS5. Man the game is so beautiful. From start to finish. Played on 55in Vizio M series with contrast max and brightness low enough for inky-looking blacks

You forgetted Wreckfest, that has a huge improvements on handling, graphics and load times.
Finally got a ps5. While i have experienced these games on base ps4, im not sure if im going to try them now on their compat versions since im holding out for native ps5 versions, at least GoW and GoT

Bloodborne needs this so bad. I've never played it but I just got a ps5 and was sad to see its not unlocked to 60 fps and still at 1080p 😢
Bo3 - comes for free from the PS collection with Zombies Chronicles and it looks good and is more stable, so if you or some pals ever wanna play some old cod zombies it’s a good pick up for the ZC bundle alone
