Dr Davin is amazing. I stopped doing HiFu because I learnt recently that doing too much and going in blind will result in unwanted fat loss and the sunken face look. Very few other derms online and in real-life even want to acknowledge this. Dr Davin not only ADDRESSES IT HEAD ON and tells you how you can still use energy devices WITHOUT unwanted fat loss. A pity I do not live in the country where he practices because such nuances creates a world of a difference overtime. Bryan Johnson for example stopped ALL energy-based lasers and treatments to his face because of unwanted fat loss, his team is reviewing them and he is now injecting fat into his face. I am really amaze how Dr Davin addressed this. Truly it's good to have you mate.

Hi Dr! Would you still recommend Ulthera on the forehead to achieve a slight eyebrow lift? You've done it yourself and honestly, if it was the only intervention you did, your result were incredibly effective. Would you do it again on yourself? And from your point of view: is scar formation a real issue with respect to possible later surgeries in the area (surgical brow lifts or other)
Why would you reduce buccal fat? As he explains (despite Hollywood weirdness ) it will dramatically accelerate the aging of the face. There are a few surgeons and dermatologists in YT who talk about what a massive mistake this is
THANK YOU SO MUCH DR! in korean Ulthera is sooo polular for lifting but here in NZ MPT is the newest. i was so confused and just found out MPT in Korean actually call SHURINK. 😅 surprisingly, the cost of Shurink is cheaper and states the results last shorter in KR. anyways, i feel so lucky come across this vedio and understanding more for what i need.
I had ultherapy 3x to build collagen die to my very thin neck. It did a great job all 3 times, my tech moved to another office and said she was only using RF micro-needling. She obviously wasn't trained properly and the pain was 50x worse than ultherapy. No one should be in that much pain, if they are, the tech has the wrong settings. She never changed the settings, and after the third pass, I finally told her no more. My neck never built the collagen like the ultherapy did and it took any fat away on my neck which may ha e been there. It did tighten my neck but never noticed the collagen stimulation. I'm not against micro-needling at all, I think it's a great device if you know what your doing but I'll stick with ultrasound for neck tightening . Thanks Dr Lim for letting us know the settings for subcutaneous involvement.

What about Ulterapy SPT, which is a newer version? Is it available in Australia?
I'm thinking of getting HIFU or Ultherapy to tighten my jowl lines. Or should I get thread lift instead? (For mild to moderate sagging jowls)
