Thanks for showing us where the purge valve is on the 3.3L Hyundai Engine. You're Awesome! I finally typed in the right search after trying a couple of days to find where the Evap Purge valve was and I search for this...in Vapor Canister "Purge Valve" for Hyundai 3.3L engine...and found your quick video.
I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata with a 3.3L Engine and the engine light came on and the code found was P0455 which is a Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (large leak). I first replaced the Canister vent valve with a new one and the engine light came back on after the 2nd test drive. I then ordered the purge valve next on Amazon not even knowing where the purge valve went. I feel very fortunate to find your video and I appreciate you making this video showing us where the purge valve is. Thanks! I replaced my Purge valve and test drove it once tonight and no engine light came on. I have to road test it a couple more times before I see that it fixed the problem because before that, I had replaced the Gas Cap and the Vent Valve and the engine light didn't come on after the 1st test drive but, it came on immediately on the 2nd test drive. I am crossing my fingers and hoping replacing the purge valve has fixed my issue. If the light comes on then my next option is to search for a hissing vacuum hose or take it to a mechanic for a smoke test. I am pretty sure both valves did need replacing. Broken pieces fell out of both of them when I took them off so, they were going bad or were already bad.

Also make sure you check your vac hoses going to the intake plenum. They may be lose, have a crack or hole, or be off if you or someone did some work on the vehicle.

    Thank you.
    I have the same problem.
I think I can fix it myself.

Did you have any problems with putting fuel in, mine keeps blocking fuel from going inI think I need a vaper canister, but the valve could be issue.

Could be the charcoal fuel Vapor air filter, just before the canister under the car. I had fuel pumping issue also. Changed out both Vapor air filter and purge valve

@@BCO216 It was the vapor canister breaking down and clogging line. So thats solved but I have hard starts in the morning it starts after the second key turn but when warm starts fine. I think the fuel injectors are leaking.
