Dear Cherry, as a "Buchhändler" for decades, I know about the difficulties to recommend a book without spoilers. I love the way you do it. Have a wonderful day with lovely people in your Café
Bought the book, start reading today ☺️👍. I really love your RUclips channel, I found it not so long ago. Thank you for sharing. Have a magical day ☺️🍁🍂❤️
I loved this whole series! I was dating an Englishman when I read it (I’m American). He helped explain why certain jokes were funny when I didn’t understand the cultural references and it was nice to bond with him over it. But even without getting those nuances at first it is so incredibly enjoyable! You can feel the warmth, humor, remarkable intelligence of the author, Richard Osman, come through.
I will add this to my list! I wanted something festive so I’ve just read ‘happy bloody Christmas’ which was cosy, super easy to read, and funny I really enjoyed it. I’m just getting back into reading again after children getting a bit older, shift patterns shifting to more reasonable timings etc, so it was a good easy one to start exercising the reading muscles again!
Started reading and it makes me feel right at home!!! I’m so appalled at the results of the US election. It makes me want to move back home. Thank you for providing some light relief in a very dark week for America, for a lot of us who live here🙏 A possibility for another book is The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods which I have but have not read yet. Please keep up the Cozy, as it’s much needed. ❤
I love America so much and have visited so many times. I just hope everything will be ok in some way or another. Hang in there ♥️🫶🏻 and thank you so much for the recommendation. Cx
Hello Cherry! I loved the story! It's certainly a different perspective on pensioner life! All the characters brought around in the end was a little overwhelming. A film! Looking forward to seeing it! Thank you for the recommendation. ❤ And I agree, it was a cozy read without adding stress to my life or nightmares!😅
Hello from France. I ordered the book today and plan on reading it during Christmas. Loved your first episode of the Book Club. Looking forward to many more.

❤ also , 😊 the most fabulous film to watch at Christmas incase you haven't seen it.. " A castle for christmas " stars Brooke Shields. So heartwarming and fun & romantic ❤
This is a book I started and was interrupted and found and starting again. Timing is perfect. Love how you talked about the novel without giving the plot away. Yes, I too felt I know the 4 main characters. They are universal. I am forwarding your vlog to the friend who recommended this book. I also found a new mystery writer Paula Sutton. Her book is The Potting Shed Murder. Right now I can't read anything dark, moody or bloody. If I ever get to the UK I would love to visit your café. Maybe you have a book to write. Looking forward to your next vlog.
Hello and thank you for your recommendation. I’m thinking we need to stay on the cozy track for our next book too, it’s almost Christmas after all ♥️ Cx
I read the book years ago but I've reordered from the library. Looking forward to the movie, wonderful cast. So glad Lesley Manville isn't in the cast...she's in so many films on Britbox it's unbelievable.
I have only recently discovered your channel which I love and I look forward to seeing more. I have this book on my coffee table ready to read but I have just started reading Anne of Green Gables so thank you for recommending The Thursday Murder Club which I hope to read next!
One of my core memories is watching Anne with an E with my children when they were little. I know it’s not the same as the original book but when Geraldine James walked past my deli and I ran out to speak to her. She’s WONDERFUL and took my gushing so well ☺️♥️
Hi Cherry. I've still not quite finished the book, but I do like it. I'm glad it started by flinging the reader straight in, at least that's how I felt. I hate books where it starts off slow as I then just want to give up. The characters are definitely interesting and I think I know some people like them too. I was trying to think of our next book. Can it be set in winter or Christmas? I don't like reading books that aren't set in the time of year we're currently in 😂 I was thinking 'A Christmas Carol', but I'm not sure if that would be everyone's cup of tea?
I liked your vlog, but I didn't like the book. I also like Richard, but still I didn't like the book. I love whodunits, but you guessed it, still didn't like the book. I found it a bit bland 😮
I love your channel! More videos please!
Love the Richard Osman books and love watching your videos
I have read all the 'Thursday Murder Club' books and I love them all, so excited that there will be a movie ❤
I love this so much!! I’m looking forward to digging in to the others ♥️
Hello Cherry, I will be adding this book to my reading list. I'm excited to get started. ❤

I enjoyed this book. I am half way through the 4th in the series. I find them nice & easy reading.
He’s writing a book year, I find that astonishing as I can barely keep up with my emails 🤣♥️

Also, thank you for not rating this book. I think that’s very wise and thoughtful.
