Checkout ericthecarguys solenoid replacement on his daughter's 03 honda element. He tested it using a power probe. You just have to put power to one of the prongs.

Hi. Did you get your odyssey fixed ? My 07 odyssey also has P0974 P0980 with flashing D.

How do I test my selinoid sensors or any of the 3 mine is a 2005. What is the name of the tester to scan to get codes?

what was the symtoms of this part going bad.
Transmission shuddering and sometimes it would have a hard grinding when I put it in drive.

The kit was not that great. I had to replace the solenoids again a month later. I went with the original part in the end. Go to hondapartsnow.com
