So far we’ve enjoyed your full Roast Beef recipes including Yorkshire Puds ( that she tells me are the best she’s had), crispy roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese. Roast Lamb and Dauphinoise potatoes, Your easy roast chicken dinner, Chicken Carbonara, Saag Aloo and Fish pie. My Wife loves to cook so I’m not taking over, just doing a regular Sunday Roast and one evening supper dish per week. I can’t thank you enough for getting me started. I am cooking this now for dinner tonight for the Nepalese Guards of our the compound where I live in Malaysia. I cooked Nicki's recipe for chicken Tikka Masala yesterday to be served with plain boilded basmati rice.
Great stuff. I made quite a lot and put some in the usual Chinese takeaway plastic boxes. I now have five ready in the freezer. Lovely stuff. Thank you.

Healthy recipe, I love it. One thing, though, spinach is not saag. Saag is mustard leaves. The recipe you are cooking is Aloo palak. Palak means spinach
Its a temporary solution but its a good one. Chris and I have been thinking about refitting the kitchen so we're holding off for the permanent solution :)

This dish did not turn out well according to this recipe. The boiled potatoes quickly turned to mashed potatoes as soon as they were stirred, and the spinach did not wilt easily.

I make this but I use chopped spinach and fry the potatoes lightly first before adding them to seal them and stop them breaking up.

Take a strong magnet pot shopping with you. If the magnet sticks to the pot, it will work on induction.

I much prefer to add the potatoes raw and cut slightly smaller. This way, they cook in the sauce and absorb more flavour.
