This has got to be the finest season and championship in Slapball history. The greatest athletes combined with the greatest ending....future generations will study this film and learn. Dalton deserves that $701 million contract.
This is my favorite Warehouse game. If the Rippers trade Justin for Zo, I think all 4 games are much more balanced and competitive, but every game was exciting and I looked forward to game day.
Years from now, our children will ask if Dalton could have played slapball in their era. We need to let them know Dalton Feely would have been great in any era.

lol it’s just like a lot of jimmy saying “incredible save oh my god!” But only saying it about his shots so it makes it seem like only an insane save could save his shots because they were just so good
That was a lot of fun. I thought of some rules that might make the game flow more smoothly. Take out the every throw is a turnover rule, and instead make throws playable if not scored IF the defense catches it out of the air in the defensive zone or if it is picked up in the crease with fewer than two bounces. A turnover throw cannot occur until it is played out of the crease. Also allow a max of two players in the crease at a time.
This was such a great championship game. Edge of my seat the whole time. Wish BBD would have taken some more attempts. He and D’aversa were so hesitant to take some slaps against Lou and Joez doubling the goal. Looking forward to Slapball becoming a staple in the warehouse rotation.
Got in with Slapball/went back with the girlfriend and watched all of Ball in Play. Series is a blast. When does the Captain's League Blitzball start airing?
15:04 kind of epitomizes what I think the problem was for the breakdowns this game: it was the Luke and Jimmy show. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great players and can really rip it, but BBD’s a top 5 slapper. Felt like every time he got the ball down low, he kicked it back out up top to one of them.
Is there a different angle of the 6-6 goal? The angles we got during the finals looked like it hit the crossbar, came straight down and never crossed the line
Hey Boys... highest of praise across many standards... HOWEVER, if I had not watched this Championship match live, I'd feel cheated somehow...this edited version lacks most of the drama, (with no Jack and Jolly, it's like not having Peter and C.Rose adding commentary). Also, not having the score clearly delineated detracts significantly...BTW, those late tallies by both Jose and Lou were monumental for The Story...not enough credit given .. however, both the Freeze and the timeout were utilized superbly.. And that tor-tapper from Feely ..great entertainment!
So, the "editor's cut" includes a completely blown assignment at the end of the video? Not only did the camera operator not get the winning goal on film, but they also didn't show the scoreboard afterward, so it was unclear whether the game was over, or there was time left. That's inexcusably bad.
That championship game might be one of the best in channel history.
I say second only to the BiP1 final.

I edited it to show different angles than the original. More of an extra footage and mic edit than a stand alone game edit.
