Lots and lots of practice problems for VSEPR theory. We will look at how to take a Lewis structure and determine what the 3D shape of the molecule will be. Here are the shapes that we will talk about: tetrahedral, trigonal pyramidal, bent, trigonal planar, linear. We will also talk about angles in degrees: 109.5º, 107º, 105º, 120º, 180º and 116º and amounts that are less.

Great comment! When you think about how to teach, watch carefully how students learn. Everyone needs practice: lots and lots of it, over and over. Honestly, that's why I think people like these videos. Because most other places (textbooks, other videos, etc.), they'll be like, "OK, here's one example, got it? Next topic!" But that's not nearly enough for students to get comfortable. Also, explain things SLOWLY, step by step. Take nothing for granted. Message me if you wanna talk about teaching.

I don't think you realize how much of an impact you've had on students around the world. Thank you for sharing your gift.

Thank you THANK YOU thank you so much. Chemistry actually makes sense to me after watching your videos. My chemistry professor is HORRIBLE at making things fun and simple. He often goes on rants about extremely advanced chem ideas, but skims over the basic things we need to know to be successful in the class. I appreciate your amazing ability to explain this subject SO MUCH. I'm great at Biology and Math, but Chemistry has always been like a different language to me. I'm finally (after multiple attempts at the class) beginning to understand these ideas.

Thanks Tyler. I am currently studying an intensive chemistry course at the moment, and this topic was presented rather hastily toward the end of one of the days. You've easily reinforced what was taught. It is a perfect complement to the classroom. I quizzed my teachers about some kind of process yet given the time constraints we couldn't cover it. You've also given me that intuition, so thanks! You have a nice amicable presentation technique, which means you'll have another subscriber here :)
