Great comment! When you think about how to teach, watch carefully how students learn. Everyone needs practice: lots and lots of it, over and over. Honestly, that's why I think people like these videos. Because most other places (textbooks, other videos, etc.), they'll be like, "OK, here's one example, got it? Next topic!" But that's not nearly enough for students to get comfortable. Also, explain things SLOWLY, step by step. Take nothing for granted. Message me if you wanna talk about teaching.
"message me if..." I can't believe how generous you are with your time. Making these videos is altruistic enough but then you go above and beyond by offering additional help. I don't think you realize how much of an impact you've had on students around the world. Thank you for sharing your gift.
I pay a big tuition to go to school and I don't understand a thing. I watch a RUclips video for free and I totally get it now. Thank you you're a good person!!!!!!
Tyler, I am a fifty-one year old returning student and I sit next to another adult student. There are A LOT of times when we don't understand what our professor is talking about. We'll look to each other after class and say, "I'll have to have the blond haired kid explain it to me." Thank you very much. You make a difficult class very easy.
Been teaching for 38 years - you are easily one of the most inspiring teachers I have across. Passion, communication, ability to get concepts across, making it interesting excellent knowledge - A* all around. May you always be blessed
Be blessed for life and beyond. I am 46 years old going to school and chemistry is one of my required classes. At my age getting these concepts is not easy. But you have made it so much bearable for me than words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you
Thank you so much for making these videos. They are all clear and concise. I love that you don't go turbo speed through the topics. It is also clear how much preparation you out into your videos. They are so helpful!
i will never skip ads on your videos so you can make money to continue creating awesome videos!! that is one way i can contribute and show my support :D
Just realized I wasted so much time looking at videos from my university when I just could have watched this one! You are the best. Saved me once again. Best chemistry professor out there with amazing clarity. Thank you.
Just when I was about to abandon all hope on Chemistry and my entire academic goals (which would have been extremely devastating to me), I came across your videos. THANKYOU! You have made a profound difference and literally saved my academic life and future. You are an extremely talented teacher that students only dream of having. You have turned this into a reality for so many and I know that I, among many others, are forever grateful. What you are doing is incredible!
Every teacher teaches differently.... every student learns differently. That is why when a teacher teaches 1 way to an entire class, someone won't understand. Even if it's a good teacher
I've seen best teachers in my life but not like you . you are the best best .... teacher who explains very clearly in such a way that even a person who didn't like or study science can learn easily. Your works are well organised, planned and systematic manner. No words to describe you. Hats off to You!!!!
I just deeply respect teachers with great and clear speech, perfect teaching materials and methods, sharp looking. You are on of these teachers. Thanks a lot!
VSEPR chewed up my mind in class. I felt as if I understood it but by the time I reached home and tried to practice, I felt lost. I tried to read the chapter from my books, didn’t understand a thing. As a last resort, I turned to RUclips and found your videos. I understood the concept in one video. Thank you.
Have a teacher that refused to explain me when I was absent for this. Thank you so much; I feel stronger in this topic than any other my teacher has taught me
Thank you THANK YOU thank you so much. Chemistry actually makes sense to me after watching your videos. My chemistry professor is HORRIBLE at making things fun and simple. He often goes on rants about extremely advanced chem ideas, but skims over the basic things we need to know to be successful in the class. I appreciate your amazing ability to explain this subject SO MUCH. I'm great at Biology and Math, but Chemistry has always been like a different language to me. I'm finally (after multiple attempts at the class) beginning to understand these ideas.
This video was tremendously easy to understand and very straightforward. I learned more from these videos than from my incompetent chem teacher. Thank you SO much. It was extremely helpful.
Just paused the video on VSEPR theory you posted and wanted to tell you that these videos are fabulous. You have made chemistry enjoyable for me. Thank you Tyler!
What I learned in 4 days with confusions, u just cleared that in few minutes. And ur English accent is really clear and good.I belongs to a non English region,so it's creates problem for me but I didn't face any prblm during learing from ur video..Thanku so much sir.
The values of these videos is far beyond the money you get from the commercial, they are of real values that you can't see, u r giving the educations ia a very good way for free, and making the world literally a better place, the effects gonna last for a long time to come :) HUGS!
Love Tyler! His videos have helped me with my chemistry studies and I also get a weird ASMR tingle from watching the videos. Such a relaxing dude to listen to!
This has definitely helped me! I have a mock exam tomorrow and this will be coming up. I was stuck in the mud as I felt like all this had to be memorised but had little time to do so. You've made it seem so logical that this won't ever need to be "memorised ever!!! Thank you so much!!!
Tyler you are the best teacher i've ever had. it pisses me off to see others who are not as half as good as you are, having 3 millions subscribers. Life Is never fair.
I love your videos if I'll live forever I'll watch your videos forever your the reason I get good grades in chemistry.. I wanna donate you and BTW can you make live lessons .. I like the way you repeate the important stuff the whole time Thanks dude
Thank you so so much! I never really understood it when the professor at my university tried to explain it. And now - after listening to you - it's all just completely clear and it isn't even that difficult after all.. Thank you so much!
I'm taking a condensed organic chemistry course this summer and your videos are helping me greatly. Its nice to have more practice than what the text book provides. Thank you!
Thanks Tyler. I am currently studying an intensive chemistry course at the moment, and this topic was presented rather hastily toward the end of one of the days. You've easily reinforced what was taught. It is a perfect complement to the classroom. I quizzed my teachers about some kind of process yet given the time constraints we couldn't cover it. You've also given me that intuition, so thanks! You have a nice amicable presentation technique, which means you'll have another subscriber here :)
thank you omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's our quiz tomorrow.. I thought I know much about identifying the type of geometry.. I didn't recognize the importance and impact of a lone pair on the geometric shape... Now I know the proper way. thanks !!!!
You make someone like me who abhor chemistry start to appreciate this subject. Your examples are so fun and easy to understand. Please do not stop making these videos! Subscribed to your channel :)
If only teachers would have guest speakers for certain subjects... Hell, I wish you were giving my lectures! You're great Tyler! And yes, definitely subscribed.
Thank you! I love the step by step and the repetitive practice, it's the way I learn and I am taking chem online right now so having these videos is NECESSARY!!! I feel much more confident.
I have to say this the thought process was awesome, man you are awesome all your videos make me love chemistry more(even though i want to major in computer science and mathematics). The world of science needs people like you.You totally read our minds, you are the captain america of chemistry. Jesus be with you and have an awesome Christmas.I have like a million things to say but im gonna end it here.
This video was really helpful for me. I tried reading chapter several times and still did not get the concept of VSEPR theory but this video made it so much easier to understand the concept. Thanks you Tyler.
You are awesome!! I didn't understand it when professor was explaining it in class but after watching your videos now it seems soooooooo easy for me!! Thank you so much!!!
This is truly "making learining fun", this is my second vid on ur channel and m already enjoying so muchh, Nd honestly I for one hated chemistry lectures like anything....Really grateful for ur videos sir, It's really helpful, nd once again Thanxxx a lot.. :)
I am a Indian student and I am a great fan of you, your explanation is very good, and I want to solution of this question - how many 90 degree angles are present in tetrahedral shape? Please solve this if you want to do it
I just found your videos today. I am so hooked! Thank you so much for your thorough explanations! :] You're making the VSEPR learning-process fun. I was just.. too confused by the book and by the lectures. And now, IT ALL MAKES SENSE! :]
Wow this comment amazes im glad you make videos like these you show a true love for teaching and i applaud you for that. Just wish you were my chem teacher
you really are a good teacher you must of had a great teacher, knowing something and understanding it and be able to share it with others so they can understand it is another skill many teachers fail at. you nailed it. thank you I will be watching more of your stuff and reading your site too. thanks for sharing this Iwas starting to get discouraged in learning this stuff by reading these books that seem like they are assuming you already know most of this stuff and should be getting it right off and surly this was making me think I could never learn this stuff.
That was VERY helpful, I did not get bored solving these problems! for the fist time I feel that chemistry is so much fun :) thank you my exam next tuesday and this video saved my life! kind wishes and go on :)
i am sure this is quite consuming to put together so i took the effort to download it, the audio and video to your video come seperately with the tools i use to make write it to my hd, but i like it so much i go as far as to putting the separate streams back together, to have it.

Can't thank you enough 😍🤩
Sir, you promised to make a video for Organic Chemistry but you haven't 😭😭😭
You are the best chemistry teacher I have ever found.

Yep...... Same here!
I agree
where are you now in life?
same honestly, I've been struggling with this for almost a whole year now in class. Now that I watched a 15 minute video, I totally understand it.
Because you are really paying for your degree paper... no for the education itself 😢
this guy needs to make more videos. He's the best thing to happen to chemistry.
So true
Tyler, I am a fifty-one year old returning student and I sit next to another adult student. There are A LOT of times when we don't understand what our professor is talking about. It's really sad that I'm getting a better education on RUclips than at an actual school. Murica lol. Thnx a bunch, great vids!!!
