I would normally think the Lewis structure would have been the correct one for sulfate and phosphate ions and would not have thought to move on to double bonds on one side of the central atom. 🤔🤔🤔

Does it matter where we place the hydrogen when we draw the lewis structure? Like can we put two on the side and one on top, or two on the side and one on the bottom? Like as long as we have three hydrogens, is that okay? Thanks
