One of the problems with Aya devices is that they often release new, improved models shortly after you've made your purchase. While it's inevitable for technology to become obsolete over time, you'd expect your device to remain current for longer. Aya's customer support is pretty bad.

The screen is incredible, I've done a lot of testing recently because of that screen, the colors, contrast, color depth are insane, because it's not boosted contrast or inflated numbers, the screen is able to get deeper richer colors WITHOUT sacrificing details or clipping colors. It's better than the average gaming monitor a typical gamer would have. It's far superior to the LG 1440p 165hz monitor I own and is much closer to my LG C2 OLED TV.

I am really interested in the comparison of this to the AOKZOE A1 Pro. People keep comparing this to the ROG Ally but I think the AOKZOE is a better comparison. It’s a bit cheaper, has a bigger screen, and bigger battery, same proc, more memory, more storage. Both Indiegogo campaigns. The Ally you can just pick up from BestBuy which is nice, and has a120hz screen, but that is about it from what I can see.

Support on AOKZOE is nonexistent for the non-Chinese market. they have no presence on global social media platforms, their sole website in English is a sales site, and their English sales site doesn't have any tech support options (their Chinese one does).
AYANEO are making the effort to support the international market. They have a RUclips channel (not easy for a China based company), and seem to have more content and go the extra mile for their English speaking customers.
I'd go with the AYANEO 2S over anything AOKZOE. A tech company that makes an effort to reach out globally (instead of treating their global customers as cash cows to provide support for their domestic market) is trustworthy enough in my book. I live in Asia, I understand the stance most Chinese tech companies have to the rest of the world, including other Asian markets (i.e. no stance nor care beyond selling units/produce for their own expansion domestically supporting Chinese customers), so a company like AYANEO is rare. I wouldn't hold my breath over AOKZOE...

The top-spec Ayaneo 2S being crowdfunded on Indiegogo now has 64GB DDR5 RAM, 4 TB SSD with the Ryzen 7 7840U in such a small form factor. It is 20% off now and in a different league altogether compared to the competition for the people who can afford to spend more. You don't really need a 120htz refresh rate screen when most games will not push beyond 60FPS on medium to high settings in a device this small. 1200p makes the screen even better. Even laptops don't come with these high specs for this price range. I have the Ayaneo 2 2TB and I absolutely love using it. It has worked flawlessly to date.
Sad that Ayaneo is not giving any incentives for us who purchased Ayaneo 2 which is barely 3 months old. Still me being a sucker for handhelds, I have paid for the 64GB 4TB one on Indiegogo. If only it came out with normal colours for the top-spec instead of one with the gaudy "B.Duck" print.

Honestly i wish the AyaNeo 2s prices were closer to what the Geek1s prices are (then I may have pulled the trigger). No doubt the AyaNeo2s is the best 7' handheld in the world, with the only thing something like Rog Ally has over it is the 120hz FreeSynch display (i still like the AyaNeo bezel-less display more). I feel like the pricing structure at atleast $100 less for every AyaNeo model and size configuration (where the hell is 1tb storage, why only 512 and 2tb?) would be more competetive, and ideally $200 less for each model (at which point I'd probably buy my first handheld).

spec wise it should be round the same as the Z1 chips, but the differences will be in the sofware as Linux and Valve SteamOS can squeeze better performance where as Windows is damn system hog and drivers are still young for the 7800u/Z1 chips.
The ideal set up is these latest chips 7840u/Z1 with matured drivers running on Linux...and Linux finally getting around 95% compatability PLUS some application/distro standards..because right now those are the two big things holding Linux Back from toppling Windows as the best gaming platform for PC.

For example, I love everything about this Ayaneo 2S except for the buttons being directly above the right analog stick. If you're going to use the XBox style layout, the buttons should be in a V-shape like the Xbox Controller, so that your thumb doesn't have to reach over the analog stick.
